How bloody awesome is Ketut!!!! So great to see a genuine your guide and a bloke who just cares. Great job mate. You deserve a medal just for putting up with muzza!!!
Thank you everyone for your well wishes, the ATV accident happened a while ago and I'm fully recovered, The importance of this is having adequate travel insurance and using a reputable booking company like KW Tours
Never travel without insurance. Just take photos of your passport and insurance policy on your phone (as we all carry phones). Ketut is the kind of person that keeps me going back to Bali.
I have met Ketut just a couple of months ago and he handled my sim card and hire car. Great guy and also his staff. I echo what muzza says about him. Great guy.
Well done Ketut, great advice Muzza re emailing copies of identification to yourself. I’m in Bali on my own in February for a few weeks, really hoping to meet up with yourself and a few Aussies while I’m there.
Ketut is a bloody legend, best tour guides in bali, nothing is a problem, ketut and staff look after everything, glad this beautiful person has recovered so well, great work Ketut and staff at KW tours, great interview Muzz and great information, take care and be safe, talk soon.❤
Insurance an absolute must, l was stuck there for 3 months when Covid took the world hostage, my insurance paid every single cent, even my patriotic flight home, l also got stuck there once when the volcano erupted, again fully insured, a must have.
What a great outcome muzza I’m glad she’s okay and to have the backing of you and Ketut and his business makes me proud to be a subscriber. Please pass on my regards and thanks to Ketut and his entire staff. I will definitely be using him for all my Tours when I come over in May I was going to anyway but this just confirms why we listen to muzza and Ketut your advice from both you invaluable to people like me travelling. Thank you again Billy
your a very lucky woman you didnt end up in a chair for life! i broke my neck surfing 25 years ago age 20 im a quadriplegic i lived on the gold coast and just got back from bali when it happened. i travel a lot Bali, El Salvador, Mexico, Fiji and Hawaii my insurance is around $1200 -$1500 due to my disability but i usually stay for 3 months of the year but its worth it just incase. P.S im super happy your not paralyzed Jenni wishing you a speedy recovery 😊
We had double insurance and a clear credit card with 10K on it when we went to Europe. My husband contracted golden staff from an open blister wading in the Med. we would have been screwed without it.
Ketut is a man with the highest morals of family and service to his community. He has shown by action the type of man he his. Well done Ketut and all powers to Jenny in her recovery.
Ketut sounds like a guy you'd want to have in the trenches with you. Solid human! I know people who skip travel insurance, it's insane to spend thousands on a holiday and not pay a couple hundred for insurance.
Thanks for the information and speedy recovery Jenni. We'll be over there a week before xmas and myself and my 2 teenage sons are looking to book through the same company for ATV tours and its refreshing to know that Ketut and the company running the ATV tour is covered. I'm going to triple check my coverage as well. Accidents happen but having the insurance coverage is so important.
I agree, it's a very important subject. I'm sick of seeing go fund me pages for the uninsured etc. You've already spent money on airfares and accommodation, travel insurance is only a fraction of that cost. A heads up,. When buying insurance check the fine print for adventure sports, riding scooters and engine size of scooters. Make sure you are covered. Thanks to Jenny for sharing.
@@jenniedwards9984 That's fantastic. I wish you many safe Bali trips in the future. I hope people take notice and get travel insurance. Looking forward to my first holiday in Bali in April. ☺
Thank you for all of this information. Myself & my hubby are thinking of going to Bali next year but a bit scared of this stuff happening to us. We live in Australia & have only ever been to Fiji overseas. We will definitely contact KW tours as we haven't booked anything yet
As a farm girl, now almost 60, I am always shocked to see atv riding adventures overseas. From October 11 2021 it has been ILLEGAL TO SELL ATV's in Australia without a rollover cage. This is because they are deadly. Especially on uneven terrain (which everybody riding them for an adventure is on the misnomer of believing that they are safe to use). During the 80's and 90's we know so many people who have lost children or partners riding ATV's. They roll over so easily and if they land on your chest you are dead. Let alone head and spine injuries. Forget the ATV's guys. And your policy will ask if you will be riding a motorbike anyway.
People also need to be aware that even though these bikes have 4 wheels they are extremely dangerous. Since 2001 42 children and 207 adults have been killed in Australia on quad bikes. This doesn’t even take in injuries. Please be careful everyone.🙏
Hi I'm Jenni, I've used various companies for Bali over the years, the visit with the ATV accident was with RAC WA, they were very good to deal with, whoever you take a policy out with always read the fine print and exclusions and insurance policies don't cover you if you've consumed alcohol that I've come across
@@jenniedwards9984 thank you so much! I was actually considering taking RAC travel insurance ! We heading to Thailand soon. Also none of us drink who are travelling together. I've always been apprehensive oh the ACV. We had a trip to Bali this year and my sister wanted to go on one but it was raining that day Honestly when I travel I won't even eat street food in Bali or Asia. Just cos it's not worth the risk to me of possibly getting food poisoning on holiday. I figure Ur chances of food poisoning go up with street food Thank you so much for responding! Sounds like RAC WA wAs good insurance. I'm in WA too😊
The problem I found was that there are too many bogan boofheads from Straya with tats and bintang singlets, having their one overseas adventure because its close and cheap.
I’m a fit and healthy 78 year old ….. the best price travel insurance for me and my partner is $50 aud, per DAY that’s right per Day! Ok, fair comment, I’m more likely to fall outta bed and fracturing my spine!
