Thanks for the suggestions John! I just did the first three spots with my gf, the fuschka, momos, and birria tacos, in that order and glad it turned out that way. Everything was great but those birria tacos were everything. I will definitely be going back there a lot. I’m always around there seeking food as well. Im Peruvian and would love to suggest great Peruvian dishes/spots. Cheers bro.
The reaction from Adriana saids it all. I been visiting that area since I was a kid. Mostly for the Latin food. The 7 line along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens is like traveling the world.
Me & my Gf went to New york in June from California and i went to Jackson Heights because of one of your past guide videos and i swear to god me & my gf had those tacos from that truck and it was the best Al Pastor I've ever had, i tell everyone and nobody believes me because we have the best Mexican food out here 😂
"Off the eaten path" that's an excellent saying! O my gosh so many momo stalls these lil dumplings are awesome especially with the chilly, tortilla and the taco el pastor aaaa what an episode 😍 Loved this collab vlog food n footprints are one of our favorite food vloggers they have so much knowledge of cuisines from around the world. You guys seemed to really enjoy their local spots!
Yay!!! Yumi and Greg!!! Starting right with those momos! Heck yes, would love to travel the world in Queens! Never had Fuchka! But you had us at tamarind sauce. $2 tacos are always legit! Fritada, yes! And pastor tacos! These two know where the good food is at! haha Love the tour!
In Sept there is a momo crawl in Queens, I went last year with some friends. All the shops are walking distance, they're so good and unique flavors compared to say Chinese/Japanese style dumplings
Great video and Juni (?) & Greg feedback quite as amazing as yours and adri. That's why I love this channel, so many good vibes!!! Not mentioning the food... Every single dish looked like god came up all of a sudden to guide ya throughout the best spots up there in Queens. Hope to eat in many of those trucks if one day i have the chance to travel to the apple. Regards from VENEZUELA to the 4 of you, nice-looking people!!! 🙋👌👏❤😎
So Glad you are trying ecuadorian food!! 2 things though! The sauce greg put on the salad on the fritada (should've had the hornado though i think it's better!) is only for the potato patty (called llapingacho lol) and the quaker is mostly oatmeal (boiled then strained) with cane sugar, naranjilla juice....we also drink it when breastfeeding! All that oatmeal helps produce milk hahah worked for me when i was nursing :). You should try ceviche, guatita and seco de chivo#! Also it's crazy too me how much coverage the ecuadorian trucks have gotten. I was in HS when they started popping up(i live around the corner). It's so surreal to me
BarrioBrother, wish you guys were my relatives. You guys do the most fun things things and know all the best people and places for your vids. Keep up the great work! 😄
If you ate Indian food around St. Marks, you've had Bengali food. Bangladesh was part of India, and many Bengalis opened restaurants as "Indian restaurants". For authentic Bangladeshi foods, including Bengali biryanis, check Hillside Ave. Look up "Panshi" in particular - a great restaurants with a wide range of dishes.
If u walk that 7 train line from there all the way down to flushing, you'll find so much mind blowing food. Lived there for 24 of my 26 years and I'm missing it every day.
Looks like food heaven, I've passed by Jackson Heights and saw the street carts, but never had the food, will definitely have to give it a try, the Bengali food looks interesting, and the Al Pastor looks mouth watering .
I live in Flushing, and there are so many places here where you can get a full meal for under $7.00. And so many what I call Chinese fast food places, where you can get items for around 2.50 each item. Hot and sour soup most places under 2 bucks. Jackson Heights is my go to place for Indian Food. Cash is king in many of these places.
I am a bengali, our Phuchkas ( original varieties) are very basic with spiced masjed potatoes with bengal grams dipped in spiced tamarind water. This varieties that I saw is definitely globalised version of Phuchka. Will taste absolutely different for sure. In West Bengal phuchka is an obssessive snack especially for girls. A must have to get instant happiness 😁
The restaurants here are as value priced as the street food. Best indo-pakistani- bangladeshi spicy chicken samosas ever in little india, then go to the columbian, equadorian side to the bakeries for some fresh sweets.
Omg bengali food!!!!! Fuchka is also known as pani puri in India. I dont think the pani puri as flavorful and spiced up as the bengali version. The bengali version by far knocks it out of the ball park with the flavors imo
It would be nice to include some geographic relevance to these videos. It would make it easier to plan a visit. Which specific blocks, for example reflect different enclaves.

Yesterday I tried both the birria and the al pastor trucks. The birria lives up to the hype. But the al pastor was very disappointing. First of all they charged us $10 for 3 tacos!! Not $5 for 4 tacos .We ended up paying $20 for 6 al pastor tacos. The lady asked my husband if he spoke spanish when she said the price! My husband doesn't. Don't know if that mattered. If there is a way to get the discounted prices, please let me know. And it was dry, and not 1 piece of pineapple. Very very disappointing. I had way better al pastor in Jackson Heights.

Thanks for the suggestions John! I just did the first three spots with my gf, the fuschka, momos, and birria tacos, in that order and glad it turned out that way. Much love for the Tong cart! Amazing how they invited you in to film
The diversity is the key of queens in general but Jackson heights, flushing, corona and woodside are the best ones in our opinion.
The Mamuchos Couldn’t agree more!

I live in Flushing, and there are so many places here where you can get a full meal for under $7.00. Awesome video! What time of night would you recommend going out for these bites? Do you have to go super late?
Coming up to nyc this weekend been watching your videos for months in preparation... thanks a lot!
I recommend checking out Mama Empanadas on Northern Blvd. All types of Colombian empanadas for great prices.
Bangladeshi egg on iconic Indian street food 5:22 😂 Pani Puri in west, GOL Gappa in North and Puchka in East & Bangladesh
Amazing video! Can’t wait to try every cart!
Street eats is the best kind of eats in NYC! Fancy is fine, but the best food is in the forgotten corners and holes in the walls in NYC!
Great video, John!!! Though I had al pastor last night while editing our latest video, I want it again for breakfast! Hahaha! 😄
going off the eaten path needs to bea new shirt idea john!! i love it!!
The restaurants here are as value priced as the street food. Best indo-pakistani- bangladeshi spicy chicken samosas ever in little india, then go to the columbian, equadorian side to the bakeries for some fresh sweets.

Ecuador 🇪🇨 🤩 bolones, ceviche, tigrillo are amazing ! you choose well with that fritada 👌
Ceviche is from Peru 😂😂😂

My 2 favorite boroughs is Manhattan and Queens
Two great picks
Extremely jelly of this one!
We were joking.. let's have a 5th taco in honor of the Clatt.
TheTravelingClatt You were definitely there in spirit!

Mexican food and Mexican Mariscos are the best of all the foods anywhere anytime. Especially Southern Cali.California and México.
Best al pastor in nyc is in los portales restaurant in Astoria, queens
Yesterday I tried both the birria and the al pastor trucks. The birria lives up to the hype. But the al pastor was very disappointing. First of all they charged us $10 for 3 tacos!!
