2024 Tokyo Marathon & Expo

Another international flight, another World Major Marathon, but this time a new country and continent! Danielle and I ran the 2024 Tokyo Marathon, which was a major part of the trip, but not at al the only fun we had on our 10 day trip, which included 5 nights in Tokyo, 2 in Kyoto, 2 in Osaka, and 1 more in Tokyo.
If you are at all interested in running the Tokyo Marathon, this video is for you. There will be plenty more videos to follow on each of our stops, as well as a few things we learned that made Japan one of our favorite countries in the world.

Hello!! Thank you so much for posting this video of the 2024 Tokyo Marathon. I am from Fort Collins, Colorado and my husband and I are hoping to travel to Tokyo to run the marathon in 2025. I am working on completing the WMM too and Tokyo would be my 5th Star. We are going to submit a charity application to the Peace Winds Wanko charity and I was wondering if you could provide a bit more information about the entry. Is there an essay that you submitted to the charity? Also, would you mind sharing how much over the minimum you bid? Also, may I ask where you stayed and what airline you flew? Is there anything else that you would have done differently? Thank you so much again for the video - it is super helpful to see it from a runner's perspective!
