Idk what you're talking about, I'm so excited waiting for a trailer for Rogue Squadron, Rian's trilogy, Kevin Feige's movie, GoT writers' movie, Solo Part 2, Rangers of the New Republic... ok the joke started getting too long lol I know I missed a few more
@@FroGGi1989 I thought it was pretty well played lol Personally I was gnashing at the bit for Rogue Squadron and Rangers. And we all know what happened 🤦♂
would love more obi-wan content, show or movie. really liked the show and love the idea of seeing him learn from qui-gon's force ghost while also seeing more of vader pre-new hope
I would love to see more Obi-Wan. Honestly though, a Vader series or movie would probably be the most exciting thing they could ever possibly do. Why the heck haven’t they done it?
Kenobi & Boba Fett should both have a second season, it’s ridiculous that fans and the actors want it done. Lucas Disney really needs to get their act together on it and make it happen already.
I would love to see Ewan as Obi-Wan Kenobi, either in a series or a film. Especially the chance for Obi-Wan and Commander Cody to reunite, that would be awesome.
Vader? there's been plenty of Vader for the last 50 years. The hole in characters that needed to be filled all these years was Kenobi, where he was why he was exiled to the desert cave and then the little hut, we all needed to know that and needed to see what he did watching over Luke and Leia. The disappointment was that the first season was wasted on a one week. where he chased down Leia and brought her back. okay so out of 20 years, we got to see one week? And really no watching over Luke? yeah they need to explore that aspect a lot more.
I really hope so. I thought season 1 was very good, except for a few plot issues. And to see more adventures of Obi Wan on Tatooine would just be fantastic.
Hi Meg awesome news update, I agree Kenobi 2 would be great we need cheering up and seeing Kenobi and Vader fighting again would be great, thank you SWM
I would LOVE a second season of the Kenobi show. Even if they did what they'd originally planned when OWK was going to be the third anthology film; Obi-Wan and Cody on one last big adventure.
My answer is YES!!!!! Either in a movie or a 12 episode hour long shows. With Good Writing Staff of Course. I know that should go without saying. (but there is History🤷🏼♀️) (Might as well go big, Right! !) 😁😉 Thanks Meg this idea made Smile.😃😃😃 Good way to start the Day.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍂🍁🍂
Kenobi S2 absolutely have to happen , I’m an advocate for S2 since the beginning not only because Obiwan is my favorite character but also because I did like the show , one of the worse mistakes they made is to market the show as a limited series , they can do more , and I believe that Vader and Kenobi can meet again , like you said Ewan and Hayden are in the perfect age to keep playing their characters because when Ewan will turn 65 is over , it has to be a movie this time , then you have clone wars live action , Mandalorian , He can do young obiwan with Satine and Bo Katan , they can find great stories to do , the other risk is that the generation that grew up with the prequels millennials aged and become old and move on from Starwars , so they have to do it NOW, I means in the next 10 years or is going to be too late , I don’t lose the hope, I’d like that if they are doing S2 or the movie that this time get a much bigger budget that will make justice to the characters that are going to be in.
I hope so, was one of their best shows I really felt like it should have had at least 1 more season we deserve more, I think Ewan is absolutely right there is more to tell💯
Would love a season 2. I think there is a lot of stories to tell. I would love to see Obi-Wan's life on Tatooine and maybe some tales from the novel. I also agree there is so much about Vader that can be covered, given all the comics focusing on him.
I would love to see a season 2 of Obi wan Kenobi, and a Darth Vader story would be really cool, i'd also love to see Cody reunited with Obi wan again too
I would absolutely love to see a second season of Obi-Wan. I agree that a series season may not be necessary. On the other hand though, I'm not sure what kind of story would be worthy of the big screen, unless it's a Kenobi/Cody reunion, and they somehow save Tatooine in a manner that gives Cody a worthy end. It would be an effective way to wrap up the character's arc, since we're not getting a 4th season of the Bad Batch, and there's been zero word lately about a continuing Clone Rebellion series. That being said though, I have to agree with another commenter that Disney has a bad habit of making promises and not delivering. Let's not forget "Rangers of the New Republic," the Lando series/movie, the Droid Story premise with R2-D2 and C-3PO . . . while they contract out for weird stuff from Visions. I don't fully agree with Bob Iger about turning away from TV and back to movies. I see no reason why both can't be done.
Disney needs a win, as you said. The problem is they should have been filming season 2 of Kenobi within months of season 1 airing. They're running their streaming service like movies; waiting to see how well it does before even considering continuing to the next season. This means there's a considerable gap between seasons. Enough time for fan hype to cool, even disappear. Even if they pull the trigger today, it'll be 2 years or more before we see anything on screen.
It could be better than the first one if they put any imagination or thought into it.I could see many possible plots: the Hidden path and where that leads,Lor San Tekka and the Church of the Force, the exiled Jedi, and the creation of a secret order of surviving Jedi being formed to counter the Inquisitors and help the rebellion bring down the Empire.
I think if Ewan and Hayden were to executive produce something togther with there own personal prive touches on it for thier own characters that would be better overall. I feel the kenobi vs. Vader thing could somehow go on forever but I think if we could get atleast a season 2 of kenobi tied in with ahsoka and Vader someway somehow I think that might be kind of interesting maybe even with a book of bobba fett tie in as well I mean in same ways that would all kinda sense in the time line of it all just wrap it all up into maybe even one movie togther with all three series.
I feel on a fandom island when I say I adored the Obi-Wan show. It was everything from the character I hoped to see. I think it worked perfectly fine as a stand-alone season, but I would never turn down seeing more stories with Ewan's Obi-Wan between ROTS and ANH.
I really liked it too. As an uncle of a 10 year old niece, I found it very relatable. Ewan, Hayden and the girl who played Leia were all great. The show had some problems, particularly when it comes to impaling people with lightsabers, but the other major story points were well crafted and made up for it in my opinion.
As someone who’s lost all faith in this franchise under Dinsey’s LucasArts, I have to agree and admit if they could nail Season 2 of both shows of beloved characters that bombed, there could be a huge measure of redemption and upward….
Definitely should be a movie to continue the story or if a series it needs to have a bigger budget than the last one. I would love to see Obi-Wan communing with his master and having adventures on Tattooine while keeping an eye on Luke. It could be an opportunity to have an older Luke racing his sky hopper with Biggs in Beggars canyon! Always wanted to see that in live action!
Just an observation but just now noticed in Attack of the clones, just before Anikin leaves to look for his mam, he and Padme hug and the shadow on the wall behind looks like Vader hugging her
Obi-Wan is one of my favourite SW characters and always wanted a series when Disney took over the helm, so I was naturally delighted when it was confirmed. Maybe it was my own expectations, but I was really underwhelmed with the series - I accept filming during COVID probably didn't help, but visually I thought it looked poor at times and rushed and looked cheap, but the story did little for me. However, I recently came across Kai Patterson's fan edit in the last day or so making it into a 2.5hr length film (he's also done similar with Ahsoka, and 2 Book of Boba fett films linking certain Mando episodes in) and makes the experience far more enjoyable and really well done. I highly recommend checking those out to anyone reading this (KP Films on TH-cam and can find links to free download FYI), especially Kenobi, although I thought all his edits were great.
We saw Ben Kenobi meeting young Luke in the first season, but in Episode IV we see that they already knew each other, had seen each other before, and knew who the other was. So, other encounters between them happened during this period. How did they get along? What did they talk about? How did uncles Owen and Beru react to the encounter? I would love to see a new season of the Obi-wan Kenobi series, at least until the moment he confronts Maul, in live action.
I think the best way forward here would be to re-cut season 1 into a movie-length story that focuses on Obi Wan. Reduce Reva's screen time (MI did a great job portraying her, but the writing made her character look petulant and juvenile. Plus a monster/villain is more menacing the less you see of them, and after Vader stabbed her that should have been it), and refilm some of the ep 4 sequences to make the escape from Fortress Inquisitorius more believable. Release that as an Obi Wan movie, the way it was originally intended to be, then make a second movie-length story about Cody finding Obi Wan. I'd like to see a scene where Kenobi speaks to Ahsoka, and apologises for not being more supportive of her when she left the order. That would show some of Kenobi's growth and recognition of the failure of the Jedi order, and his willingness to focus on the future rather than getting stuck in regret. They could reminisce about Anakin and part on good terms. Use that to explain what Ahsoka intends to do during the original trilogy period. Close it out with the Maul/Kenobi duel in live action.
Kenobi in Clone Wars with Satin, Anakin, Padme, teenager Ashoka will be dope!
I absolutely love how wholesome and kind most star wars actors are regardless of the projects they work on
Same!~
They're charming as well.
i will believe it when I see it, because disney has a huge problem of saying stuff and then never doing it.
Idk what you're talking about, I'm so excited waiting for a trailer for Rogue Squadron, Rian's trilogy, Kevin Feige's movie, GoT writers' movie, Solo Part 2, Rangers of the New Republic... ok the joke started getting too long lol I know I missed a few more

would love more obi-wan content, show or movie. really liked the show and love the idea of seeing him learn from qui-gon's force ghost while also seeing more of vader pre-new hope
We need to see him more as Kenobi. Come on Disney!
I would love to see more Obi-Wan. Honestly though, a Vader series or movie would probably be the most exciting thing they could ever possibly do. Why the heck haven’t they done it?
I would like to see Obi-Wan learning to become a force ghost and see the world in inside the force
Kenobi & Boba Fett should both have a second season, it’s ridiculous that fans and the actors want it done. Lucas Disney really needs to get their act together on it and make it happen already.

Agreed
Agree there two@@solarflare6841
Absolutely that's wonderful news to hear that news
I think a Vader story with Obi Wan making several cameos is probably the way to go. Either way, I hope they make it happen.
Vader? there's been plenty of Vader for the last 50 years. I really hope so. I thought season 1 was very good, except for a few plot issues. And to see more adventures of Obi Wan on Tatooine would just be fantastic.

I'm down, but it has to be an entire new writers room and director. No one from season 1
I would LOVE a second season of the Kenobi show. Even if they did what they'd originally planned when OWK was going to be the third anthology film; Obi-Wan and Cody on one last big adventure.

I would love to see another season of Obi Wan but I would love a good Vader series too.

Why tho...? Hes supposed to be watching over Luke, not travelling across the galaxy having adventures. Its absurd

I agreed with that idea actually we do need exercise every day today and night time absolutely
