I really enjoy your channel, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I had a very similar model with exactly the same issue from a skip last month. There was also an issue with the main board on the Freeview input, one of the primary colours (red) was missing. £5 for a board, £6.50 for new backlights and another £5 for a remote equals a happy Grandson.
For me it's unclear what you check when you try to light them all up? You don't say anything about over current? In other videos they measured the current with about 360 mA. The LED driver (MP3349 - on the backside of the pcb under the backlight connector ) powers off the backlight. If you follow the traces from led driver tot he connector you can see that all 4 led output traces are 'going together' 0 ohm resistors. Could you explain your change of the leds? My TV is powered off the led when it was in stand-by but it work (from time to time) when it was disconnected from the socket. Thank you. 🙂
