The Twins probably has to be the most creative boss fight I've seen in a mobile game. The fact they hijack a core game mechanic forcing you to duel them is just plain badass.
Has shotgun and chainblade but most damaging move is f*cking kick.

The twins' boss fight is one of the most fun fights in the game in which you're tested how good you are. They will try to bait you into dodging too early, so being patience and remembering the enemy patterns (like the difference between the final attack either being one dodge and attack or two dodges and a jump attack is that the second one has a small pause before they start) during the matrix duel is the key for an easy victory.
It was also one of the buggiest fights in CN when you can do it with any construct since the matrix part was not meant for some future constructs. I still remember Rexlent completely breaking their AI and freezing them in place, who proceeded to check them very close, for scientific reasons of course.
my favorite so far is still the Lamia fight and Rosetta vs Alpha fight, but this twin boss fight is interestingly challenging. I love PGR's bossfights.

Are any of the Nier characters good in a team outside of running them all together? Obviously some abilities mention being run together so I'm sure it's not 'optimal' - I was just curious if any of them were viable outside of that team, or if you kinda have to use them together or not at all.

thanks a bench rex. you make it so easy to understand! cold you please consider making a video discussing how viable using trancendants on regular teams will be when that patch arrives? so far I am only considering getting Roland as a way to fill up a fire team.
I am a non-competitive player (leaderboards ) but I still care about game feel, and am worried trancendants will get nerfed too much when used in mixed teams
if u want to use a transcendant + const, never use only one 1 transcendant with 2 constuct thats just make ur transcendant weak asf due to 60% debuff
each construct giving 30% debuff on transcendant

Not sure whether to get him tbh, i know he will be useful in a few patches when he can be placed with constructs but if i do im not sure ill be able to guarantee S liv next patch (at 9k BC atm) and i already have an S karen built.
Anyone got any thoughts on whether i should grab him or not?
Edit: Been told that i have enough BC to guarantee roland and liv (especially since i found i have strongholds yet to do) but im gonna wait till the end of the patch before pulling for roland anyway. Looking forward to it!

You only need at least 2.5k bc to get him. But you still can get him 80% outside of this patch, so you don't need to worry. If you have S Karen, then the new cat CUB definitely for her (not recommend on my opinion, since newer fire teams will be released later)
Wait for any news on the 1.5y anniversary, you can still Farm 2 weeks of BC and get him, or you can try or luck on single rolls
It really depends on how many copies of Liv you want and if you're planning to pull any weapons/pets. If you only want 1 Liv and no weapon/pet, you can have enough for him.
Even if you're an f2p, we have this patch and the next patch. Say this patch is 4 weeks (I think this patch is shortened but not sure by how much). And the next patch is another 4 weeks. You'll have at least another 8k. 9k + 8k = 17k.
Plus maintenance reward of 500BC, you'll have 17.5k, enough for a 10 pull for Roland, and 60 pull for Liv.
Also check if you have any orange tickets from events.

Starting from Pulao Patch AKA 3 Months from now is when Roland become a Fire Meta alongside Liv Amplifier which is next month
Once we get Mecha Nanami and Palefire Rework, Roland can rest as a Fire Team Carry
He is still the best Transcendant tho alongside Selena and Pulao
