I found out about him after his death too. Going off of several comments on his video's, so many people didn't know who he was until after he passed. He was just getting to his peak. Glad his drug dealers got prison time for selling him fentanyl laced pills. No, he shouldn't have been buying stuff but he apparently trusted those people and then he died hours later. I pray for all addicts to find the light and get the help they need before it's too late. It's NEVER too late to get help!!

The sad thing is the Grammys aren’t about the best music it’s about the most popular cardi has hit songs so the people who vote see 3 mainstream hit songs and vote for it while there are albums like swimming that doesn’t get much to any radio play but is an amazing artistic album and will get over looked because it’s not as popular and/or doesn’t have any singles on the charts

It's him, Anderson and Royce for me. Trap is alright but I suggest that horns, piano and acoustic drums contribute to the swell of emotions in an underestimated fashion. A simple drum loop and synth bass steals a track of its emotional power but I guess trap ain't made for heart-wrenching, gut-punching sentiment.

I do know genius when I see it and I was mesmerized by this performance, it has been saved on my tv ever since. I was saddened when I learned that he died. I am a 68 year old white woman who has never listened to rap. But everything about this performance is incredible, this genius rapper with the best orchestra ever backing him up, omg that trumpet player, makes for the absolute best musical performance on tv, hands down. I stood in front of my tv and recorded this on my phone, and I watch it often. It makes me dance, it makes me smile, it makes me want to hug him and thank him and tell him what a gift he has left for this world. We should all strive to do something that leaves our mark in this world, especially if it touches hearts. Mac Miller has touched many hearts.

Damn. This performance is gold. I can't believe he's gone. I got into him when I got a copy of 'The Divine Feminine.' Such a great album. And then he releases this! So beautiful. I gotta admit, when I see these vids of Mac, I start to tear up. He was such a great talent and he was being true to himself in his art. Rest in power, Mac.

He reached right through my computer screen... and grabbed my heart!!! 💕 💞 💓 💗 💖...💔 And to think that just three weeks after this performance, he was gone... 😥

Yeah your right I had no idea who he was , I mainly listen to and make my own dubstep riddim music and after hearing he passed away and everything I decided to spend some time on TH-cam and whoa the talent behind this guy is amazing and I'm going to be listening to him alot more , this guy can make music if I ever heard any

@@deadflexxx What's most sad about this is he was always artistically evolving. Every of his albums sound differently and unfortunately we won't get to see his next evolution :(

Mac Miller was a different generation to me but I was alway impressed with his embrace of the roots of the culture he performed in, this can be seen by the amount of affection shown by his peers when he passed.
The fact someone so immensely talented, successful and insightful lost the fight with addiction show the insidious nature of the illness.
There is always a bit of warm melancholy listening to him now, maybe that's just because I was a lot older than him when he passed and the wasted potential hits harder. RIP
