Something about the 2000s were nostalgic. Like a mix between old school and modern. For some reason the gear looked better and everything seems like cooler
As soon as the 4-strokes were forced on the industry by the EPA/government dictatorship, that nobody elected, the sport started becoming very expensive and very dysfunctional. But that happens to every industry that fee people created, when any government entity sticks their nose in our business.
I remember practicing on the vet track at Lake Elsinore back in 2002...and this kid on a Kawasaki used me as a berm...holy crap that kid could ride FAST. James is the greatest 125 rider of all time.
There only one bubba.it aint me im in the uk :)) good to see him back in 2021 sharing his knowledge 👍Americas best overall ..speed..technique..style 💪2 and four strokes
Thanks! I will do my best to try to upload more of them if I can find them. I am not sure. These were old ones that I had on my old google video account that got switched over to youtube.
to me it looks like they were going faster and getting more reckless in these pre 2009 races.. probably not but anyway the bumps looked bigger and the bike was moving around more
Was anyone still on 2 strokes in 2008? I know they're faster around a track but the 4 strokes sucked the life out of the motocross bike in my opinion. No more braaap braaap just endless valve adjustments and oil changes. :(
I disagree. Four stroke motocross bikes have been improving since 1998 and has dominated the dirtbike industry ever since. Reason why a lot of pro riders don't use two strokes is simply because of the four strokes innovated technological advances.
Sorry John, but bull hockey. I don't have a problem with 4-strokes competing, but the communistic FIM made it so the 4-strokes would have more power (Going from 400cc when Henry won to 450cc), and would not let the 2-stroke over bore. We are man, and we can make both engines competitive with each other. Greenie Weenies from Europe killed the 2-stroke in bigger bore MX. It is called economic fascism.

He was so smooth on that Kawasaki
Nothing beats seeing my same bike racing good ol 08 crf450r
19 out of 40 bikes were Honda. That says a lot when half the gate is a sea of red! Definitely the bike to be on in 2008.
I was there that day
Not much competition for James this year

Yea totally agree with you!
I also feel if he raced Ricky a bit more, he would had beat him outdoors, never mind the new interview with RC
Reed looking for a ride way back then...
Lmao

I don't Saw Chad Reed there ...
NEW DRINK COMING OUT SOON
"Talladager", "Honder" - build an eastern wall, please. I can't understand the queen mum.
Grant Langston wouldn't have beat James Stewart anyway!
