Much like King Gizzard these guys have released a ton of music and gone through many different styles over the years. This album, and the last couple, have gotten much more psychedelic, jammy, and experimental. Some of the standouts albums for me that highlight their different sounds would be Floating Coffin, Mutilator Defeated at Last, and Orc. They're also a really great live act(and there are some great quality live videos on youtube).
Also, In an early interview, Eric (ex Gizz drummer) said that the guys saw Oh Sees together, and a number of months later, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard was born
Guys I couldn't find a question box so I'd like to know if I buy into your top option does my album choice definitely get played within the month or do I have to wait for it along the year. And also if so do I have to keep paying till it turns up like a mad masochist ?

Great song, one of my favourite oh sees songs, but it’s not a great song to introduce you to the band, there plenty on orc, facestabber and a weird exits that’s less groove based and more varied.

kG deffo influenced by O Sees. I got into o sees first...Orc might have been an easier introduction. They also have two drummers! X

This is a great band, albeit quite experimental and/or noisy at times.
