Trombone belongs to mine. I used to hate this song because it's hard to memorise. But the song just made everyone in the parade even hyped and miracle happened. I blow the song loud and exactly to the notes. I wonder why...
You play it at blastissimo because its tradition for a trombone to play as loud as humanly possible on any and everysong they play.. Take it from a trombone veteran
We had our Veterans Day parade today & we only played America the beautiful then once we got to the park we played God bless America & God bless the U.S.A
We're playing this in band for the veterans day parade in November. I'm a flute and I think this sounds rlly good. But my band director said we would only play one song that's in this whole thing :( I think we should play the whole thing not just one song but he said he would think about it since in parades we have one song and play it over and over again till we get to the end
in my band class we're playing it for the veterans parade and we're supposedly going to play all the songs, but my band director said that he might take out the last one
I could've sworn this came out way before 2014, because I remembered playing this in high school with a partnership of Kansas State and The First Infantry Division band at Fort Riley Day.
i am, in band class we've had the sheet music for a few days and we've only played the third song once and it was bad 😂 i hope we actually learn to play it
I'm in the color guard and i have two days to memorize and learn how to twirl some stupid stick so im literally just burning the music into my head so i can know all the music cues
as a quad player, i hate the fact that people who write stock percussion parts think quad players can't play anything faster than an 8th note most of the time. it's the bane of my existence edit: also that they can't do accent patterns. do they think we suck?
You can't convince me that the second tune is a strange version of God Save The Queen (granted some bits don't sound the same, but I've played and sang my national anthem so many times)
Time stamps for practicing:
Cadence 1: 0:02
America the beautiful: 0:17
Cadence 2: 0:54
My country tis of thee: 1:09
Cadence 3: 1:51
Battle Hymn: 2:07
This helped me a lot! I have to memorize it for a parade and knowing where each part started really helped :)
Lol me too! Our parade was this morning actually

MAGIX MAGIX good job Now you dont have to hate it anymore
You play it at blastissimo because its tradition for a trombone to play as loud as humanly possible on any and everysong they play.. Take it from a trombone veteran
In my school, we have mini music stands that go on the instrument, but they don't fit on my trombone, so I have to memorize it.
Props to Will Rapp for making some really nice percussion parts while still keeping it simple for younger drumlines.
We had our Veterans Day parade today & we only played America the beautiful then once we got to the park we played God bless America & God bless the U.S.A
We played this today at our Memorial Day Parade. It was GREAT! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

it's the same song
It's two tunes sung to the same melody.
It’s the exact same song, just like many of America’s patriotic songs it’s a ripoff of a British song

@@Nialls_chOnce_Liamsthirdwheel the melody is the same but the words are different
