Freddie was the GREATEST SHOWMAN , nobody could ever match him in any lifetime but after numerous other singers Adam is the best to have ever tried and is a truly great performer but there could only ever be one Freddie. Great job though Adam.

Well, it's clearly the reason and it's very true... Queen without Freddie is just a tribute band...
The reason John left is because Freddie helped him with the pressure from paparazzi and the press and even Brian said that if Freddie didn't help John, he probably wouldn't have been with Queen. So when Freddie died it was too much for John and he couldn't handle it. That's why he left I think
I would say this song is probably the best queen song Adam has ever covered. He got his own style and his vocal is amazingly into this. There are very few people can sing queen’s songs. You need great vocal flexibility and stage performance, need to be crazily powerful and mildly soft at the same time,weaves in emotions and passion.
Marc is another Freddie vocally, and he’s a great singer obviously, we all want to see him carry Freddie’s legacy. But I think the queen band truly need a stage performer in new style. And that goes to Adam, and I bet Freddie would love to see his songs be interpreted in different style. And that’s probably the reason Brian and Roger choose Adam. Both Marc and Adam are great singers. We’re so lucky these days to see such talented artists bringing Queen to this whole new era. Let’s just enjoy them.

very very difficult song to cover. Not an Adam fan but he did a superb job. Marc M struggled with staying on key with this one.
That's because Martel tries too hard to imitate Freddie, wich is his greatest fault. Very decent singer, but before all: he's an imitator. That was and is his premium game. Freddie didn't imitate anyone, and same goes for Adam.
I'm a manic Queen fan since the early 80's. I own and know every second Queen ever recorded. And for as far as I'm concearned, there's only one person on this planet that has my blessing to sing the Queen catalogue live together with Bri & Rog and that's Adam Lambert.

They are free to do with the music whatever they want and Yeah after 10 years 218 sold out shows in arenas and stadiums in 42 countries, and performed to 4 million fans, a #1 album, and considered in the XXI century the best band of the world. They dont need a bitter man, their concerts sold in minutes. Adam is now a legend and the frontman of Queen, He is part of the band history forever alongside the other frontman.
Nobody like Freddie. His talent is unparalelled and nobody has Freddie's authenticity. Adam, while a good singer, is more concerned about "looks" than about music.
