The target overcharge was fired at managed to die to ACU's normal gun before the charge hit, so it went straight through and double tapped the wreck. Looked really funky though.
30:00 now that is intelligent teamwork, something i would guess any lower rated player can do to contribute in a meaningful way without having to be a pro, but also even if one is a higher rated player and has a backyard position would be fitting. If such things are game changing i could not say, but recognizing once own strength and weaknesses and then handing over a game asset without the own ego getting in the way is admirable to me.
Right on, and I tell you another great bit of teamwork in this game from a low ranked player was top team near the left side. The left most player was getting pushed back with the uef T3 scu raveger creeping up on him. While the player keeps him busy with a skillful delaying tactics, but will ultimately lose, the low ranked neighbor took the time to build 6 TMLs and then fired them all at the invading ACU in 2 waves. That was incredible teamwork and foresight from a 1000 rated player.
@@CameTo yeah i saw that too, but i am not sure if that really was foresight or just trying out stuff with the hope it may work which still is worth some recognition. So yes that was a nice play too.
But if you read the chat, the other players weren't happy with Trips building a Spiderbot, he is air player and should secure air. Of course it's very hard to say but they might have lost the game right there - if he had invested in more ASF instead, triggered an won an airfight, things might have gone their way.
Since FAF turned veterancy into mass based, you can check how much value a unit has killed by looking at the 'xp' it has, which can give a better idea of the value it got

Matr1 died to gingerbreads Mongoose. the projectiles look similar to the ravagers, but he had none. moccafrap died to the Ravager built by desertwolf on the final projectile of its volley before he would have made it out of range, pretty unlucky there.
I mixed that up. I mean the player on the left which was retreating from the top team and he got killed by ravager fire. (Dont wann a look up the name, but it wasnt matr1 xD)

So the pd from green killed him, because he wasnt moving under raiders shield or out of the range of the pd. But dont ask me why it is shown as "raider killt him" he died maybe some team damage with something, but its hard to see

Few comments saying this was a comeback, but I disagree... Spoiler: A L E R T I think it was a comeback from a comeback. As of late-early game, you had 3 ACU's from South side team pushing up the right flank, one with gun, and just needed to stick together to get stuff done. Granted they then split up and grey shut the door on their advance with the T2 PD and that move thankfully got us a nice game to watch. By end of mid game you had 3v1 in terms of the "pros" in favour of the top. The player/move who won the game, imo was the very tight and screened use of the T4 bomber. Even before the com snipe, it had 60+ kills and they were 60 tough units, mostly percies.
Hey Gyle, can you do a who’s your favorite faction poll? I’d love to see the definitive opinion, and with your viewers, I’m sure if you posted that poll, we’d all know the truth! Something like: “If you could only play as one faction for the rest of your life, which one would it be?”
T1 arty do a ton of damage per mass. They are good at doing damage to sheets of units and bases, assisting the expensive t3 units. They are a must in dense t1 fights as they do much more damage than tanks. But tanks should be used when you have small groups of units and especially fast units.
Team one got SO lucky. Nuking sapier literal seconds before his own nuke launcher completed a missile. Like that is some good target priority there. He even landed it right on the silo :D
Stec had the extra range upgrade, could have teled out of range of the t1pd and mopped it up before moving in. Dark green would have been vulnerable to this.
For the donation stuff I recommend to use the new youtube membership perks instead of patreon. So I dont have to check if some content is available in patreon.
I know I'm behind here, but damn. Too many risks with the coms. A quarter health should be your pull-out warning, let alone noticing all the odds stacked against you. Excellent use of that experimental bomber throughout the game. Watch too many players simply throw them into the enemy to get fragged.

FAF forever seems really great I'm just getting back in the supreme command using faf and loud has. anybody made any tutorials on how to use faf haves somebody already made some tutorial videos for faf how to set up an invite your friends to games and stuff like that co-op survival skirmish matches and how to use mods and which ones are actually good.
Hey Gyle would it be possible to get videos of the animated background for your openings for all the different factions? Think they could be put into great community use in Wallpaper Engine which allows videos to be desktop wallpapers.
There is one reason I will never be able to play SupCom at any level, I spend too much time space etc trying to get my bases to look remotely nice, not that I do a great job or anything but I love turtling and watching enemies fly into my defensive line until I die or get bored then I finally go on the offensive

There was once a game mod from another game that had implemented a really nice concept: "the dead can not contact the living" Which led to seperated ingame chats and in terms ofthis game i would suggest no pinging and warning of dangerous. You basicly become a spectator with no way of communication to the still living players aslong you are not in the same voice chat program. Which i always find brought two things, one the others immersion wont be broken by unfitting comments and secondly the living need to rely on their own senses without additional help from the dead.

If people do play as a team with voice chat, they still would need to convey by talking. Talking is one of the most taxing tasks our brains have to deal with and sure if they are disciplined, have played often together and therefor also established an effcient way how they convey intent, warning, commands etc then they are always one step ahead of the curve. Having but to coordinate a certain point on the map by words is again more taxing then just pinging. These points therefor make a differance. For me the often rather casual player who then would also play with other casual players that seems releveant. For the pro i guess not so much.

The ACUs are already starting auxilliary structures and you haven't even gotten through the first two introductions yet. When are you going to start knocking the game speed down *immediately on game start* for large games?

one of my major pet peeves is people who build nuke launchers and dont build defenses. "theres no way they could have a nuke before i do!"

But normally a commander has many officers under him, so why not make dead comrades as staff members ;P ?
That doesn't stop external voicechat, which is more efficient anyway. So, ultimately, organized players will have even more an advantage over PUGs.

What UI mod is Gyle using to see stuff like Regen rate, exact number of shield health etc.?
