UPDATE- I STOPPED THIS DRUG. I had heart palpitations n A fib. My heart doctor recommended me to stop this drug. I have 5 stents in my heart. After going 2 yrs with No issues concerning my heart. To suddenly have a issues. Very scary! Plus the nausea was getting very very bad. I did lose 20 pds in the short time I was on it. I will not be taking this drug again.
I started Ozempic in August 2021 and as of today, February 9 2022, I’ve lost 47.7lbs. I still not where I want to be but Ozempic is the only reason i’ve cone this far. I was 199.5 and I’m 151.8 now. Only 15 more to go
Woah you have similar results to me in a similar amount of time. Late August 2021 for my PCOS. (I gained 200lbs rapidly a couple years ago when my symptoms first manifested.) I was up to 340 and lost 40 on my own by getting food secure. Gained back 24 after getting IUD. So in August I was at 324. Now I'm at 274. So 50 pounds which is wild. The side effects haven't been too bad for me. Anyway, thank you for sharing, I didn't see a lot of numbers similar to mine so it felt validating.
@@rebekahfasano7005 for me I didn't have bad side effects until I went up to the full dosage, which ended up being too intense for me. It gave me intense esophageal spasms. I may have been able to power through but my endocrinologist ended up supplementing the weekly ozempic jab at the lower dose with daily rybelsus pills (also semaglutide.) I regained some weight when I didn't eat enough due to unrelated stomach bug, but lost it again once I was able to eat a regular amount. It's also helped me absorb my iron supplements so I've been less anaemic and that gave me enough energy to be more active. I tend to be bedridden due to my other conditions, so I am limited in what activity I can do and it's always irregular. But even being able to do dishes occasionally has helped with toning. My skin has gotten pretty loose so I've been wearing the compression garments I had for joint pain and that can apparently help with tightening it back up. I hope it goes well for you! If the side effects are too intense there's no shame in trying out other things.
@@rebekahfasano7005 It’s crazy to me that I wrote this only 13 days ago because now im down a total of 51.3lbs! Its insane. I haven’t really changed anything too much. It just changed my appetite and I get full quickly and stay full for a good while.
Glad other options are working for you. Ozempic and Trulicity have been godsends because I didn’t wanna go under the knife with gastric bypass. I’m stuck a little right now but I’m down 121lbs in 8 months in conjunction with eating habits and working out almost everyday
I am like you, Brandon. Six months in and 72lbs down. I suspect that we are both part of the 8% of individuals who are seriously deficient in the hormone which controls appetite. Ozempic replaces it so our bodies now work normally and receive the "you are full" message. My constant hunger switched off two hours after my first dose - in fact, I realise now that I simply stopped thinking about food. Would be interested to know if, like me, your tastes have radically changed? The smell of pizza, fried foods, turn my stomach ... No interest whatsoever in ready or take out meals. I do however, enjoy very simple fresh home cooked meals. My dinner now for example .... 3ozs piece of salmon flaked over half a cup cooked rice (I use Thai spices and coconut milk to cook the rice). Side dish of one cup steamed green veggies. I have decided that too many flavours, fats, chemicals, tastes overwhelms me now and puts me off the food. I really can taste food so much better.
@@alexandrasmith7682 any greasy food is a total turn off since I started taking it also. Fresh produce and lean chicken and definitely salmon is tasty to now.
Yikes that's scary for me. I've been on Ozempic for 3 months. .25, .5 and now on 1.0. No side effects yet. Lost 25 lbs so far. ♡ thanks for sharing your story.
I am on Ozempic to control my blood sugar. I have also lost weight but I still have the nausea. I’m working with a nutritional and exercise coach and am looking at eventually going off of ozempic. I really appreciate this video. Thank you for doing this! I appreciate the real life experience with diabetes.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Ozempic. I started taking Ozempic about 5 weeks ago, and I immediately began watching all of your videos for information and to help me know what to expect. I have lost 13 pounds since I started, and I'm pretty happy with that. My doctor prescribed Ozempic off label specifically for weight loss. I have been extremely nauseated a lot of the time, though, which has been hard. You are a beautiful person, and I and many others truly appreciate what you are doing. I hope you're able to ignore any ignorant, negative comments because they are unkind and undeserved! By sharing your story, you really are helping a lot of people. Wishing you continued success on your journey!
@@leosun2206 My doctor just prescribed me Ozempic only for weight loss. I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic, but I do have an autoimmune disease that prevents weight loss.
Let me just say that you are one intelligent, informed, and articulate woman. I mean seriously! I don’t know what you do for a living but have to think you are in a STEM related field. I’m an executive at a fortune 50 company and am truly blown away by you. Thank you for your your journey. It’s most helpful to so many people.
I'm an NP student, and the TH-cam algorithm thought I would like this....and I did! Thanks for talking about your experience. It's helpful for clinicians to add patient perspectives to our toolkit :)
@@TheHangryWoman hi my name is Norma i have been on ozempic now for about a year for diabetics. I lost about 15lb. There has been a shortage of it in the pharmacy and was not able to get it for a month or 2. I have gain back 17 lbs. I have restarted ozempic about 2 weeks ago. Will I lose back the weight that i gained?
I have been too scared to take Ozempic; meds in the fridge and keep postponing. But all the positive comments I just read encourage me to get started. Thank you to all the people who shared today and to this channel!
Thank you for sharing. I lost half of my body weight on Ozempics (147 lbs in a years). I worry about regain when coming off of it, but my doctor said that Ozempics just got me started, and the additional weight loss is the result of lifestyle changes. I'm sorry that you had those issues. I had nausea and abdominal discomfort in the beginning, but not palpitations. My HGA1C went from 7.9 to 5.0.
Way to go. Check Dr Ken Berry carnivore diet. I've lost 20 pounds in the first two weeks on his diet. Plus I was able to stop all insulin shots after 3 days on the diet. I no longer take most of my meds for blood pressure and blood sugar support. Soon I'll be off all my meds. Amazing. Check him out.
I’m glad to come across your video. I decided to stop after 3 months. I lost 16 lbs but the side effects were too much. I experienced the GI symptoms as well as the elevated HR and mood disturbances. Most importantly the mood, I haven’t seen much reported about it but I came to the conclusion that it was causing me worsened depression. I was feeling no happiness and constant anxiety about being sick with a swing between constipation and diarrhea. I wish luck to everyone who is able to manage it!
Thank you so much for your informative video. I have been searching for videos on side effects of these GLP-1's and I continue to only see videos on why you should continue with these. Since starting Tirzepatide 3 months ago I noticed immediately that every time I eat I feel very sick. I am currently only eating around 500 to 800 calories a day at most and I just can't see how this is good for my body. Not only do I feel sick when I eat but I feel nauseous pretty much all day and I believe it is beginning to depress me. I am seriously considering discontinuing because I just want to feel good again. I am taking this drug only for weight loss and I do not have diabetes. Although I have lost 35 lbs while taking this, I just don't feel like it's worth it to feel sick all the time. Something else that has been very difficult for me is I cannot eat raw vegetables or fruit as that seems to make the stomach gas and pains almost unbearable. My stomach gas/burps get so bad that I will throw up. I have tried every remedy suggested and nothing seems to work except for Pepto-Bismol and I do not want to be taking Pepto everyday either.
I started ozempic three weeks ago. I can tell the difference in my appetite and I have lost a few pounds. I was loosing weight prior to starting this but my blood sugar was higher than it should be taking just metformin. No problems on this .25 dose so far. You are correct all of us are different and things affect us all differently. Loosing weight slower is a good thing. There will always be negative people. Ignore them and continue on your journey. You are doing a fantastic job and thank you for documenting your experience.
I’m so happy I found your channel! I just started ozempic and my resting heart rate has increased and my heart randomly starts racing. Sometimes it’s so bad that it’s hard to sleep. I’m not taking a third shot (I just took my second, but my heart rate increased almost immediately after the first) thank you for sharing your experience!
I started Ozempic in February of 2022 and still taking it. I was 295 lbs. Answer as of today I am 205. My Dr. Put me on it as I was very close type one diabetes.
ًWOW! Congratulations on your big success. I am about to start Ozempic too and would like to ask if you exercised and followed a certain diet while on it?
Great update! So glad you found a plan that's working for you! I'm still on Ozempic. One thing I did experience about a month after upping my dose to 1 was constipation which caused lots of digestive discomfort. I couldn't eat anything without cramping and stomach discomfort. My sister experienced the same issues and after a stomach ultrasound, it was confirmed that she was severely constipated even though she was having regular bowel movements (possibly a result of Ozempic slowing down the digestive process?). I took a slow acting laxative (Miralax per my endo) and increased my hydration. The issues cleared up after a week and I haven't experienced any more issues for about a month now. I'm still not seeing the weight loss benefits, but my blood sugar numbers are still down dramatically (A1c down from 13 to 7.1 since June) which is my priority. Thanks again for the update. Wishing you continued success on your journey!
I was on Ozempic, and am no longer on it. It caused pancreatitis for me. My primary doctor had two other patients who also had the same outcome. Now on my medical records it shows I'm allergic to it. Ozempic made me feel nauseous every day. It just wasn't worth feeling sick every day. I am on Trulicity and Tresiba. I'm doing okay for now.
Hey just a suggestion for you for being regular, PROBIOTICS! I very been taking them since 1995 and they not only break down your food but they also regulate YEAST FOR a ladies perfect health! You can get the cheaper Walgreens or CVS brands as Align and the Culterelle name brands are $$$$.
I’m in week 9. Did .25 for 2 week and .50 since. I love Ozempic. My A1C is under control and I have energy and I have lost 28.5 pounds. In one mind set It is amazing how meds are just different for different people. But we are all meeting the meds in a different space with different conditions so it is actually science. I’m so glad you are loving your current plan. Here is to the rest of YOUR journey. It will be a great one!!!
Totally agree. I am on 1mg per week. Blood sugar under control. Lost 52 lbs in the space of 3 months. I'm back to the weight I was when I was 18. Feel great.....except for a wheezy tummy I get usually a day after I inject. My wife is on 0.5Mg per week. Similar weight loss (40lbs) in 3 months. I've been on Ozempic for almost two years. I am impressed with the outcomes. Portion size decreased dramatically. Haven't lost any more weight since the initial 3 month period, which is a good thing.
Ty for your video and info. Question iam loosing hair and think its Ozempic have been taking for 5 months. Now will stop let's see if hair problem goes away.
I have Type 1 Diabetes, and my PCOS symptoms have been escalating. Birth control helps, but I’m heavier than I’ve ever been, can’t control the cravings, on insulin injections because insurance is a pain, and going to the gym and dieting is doing nothing. I’m scared to test this due to low blood sugars, but I’m sick of diagnoses taking over my body right now. I’m hoping my symptoms will be low! All three doctors involved have approved me for this, so I’m really hoping it helps. Thank you for sharing so much information. It’s helping me ease into the process.
I’m soooo excited to have found you! My insurance just approved ozempic and I started last night! Diagnosed with Type 2 last month and have been searching for information. Thank you for all you have done to get the information out.
Thank you so much! I was in the same boat when I started and was kind of skeptical because there wasn’t much info out there! I know my experience isn’t the only one, but I always hope it’s helpful in terms of what could happen (even though I’m out of the norm on being allergic!)
I had tachycardia and was sent to a cardiologist, then an endocrinologist and THAT is how I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease. I totally understand what you mean about feeling like your heart is going to burst out of your chest. It's scary. I'm so glad that you were able to make a change that made you feel better.
I've been on Ozempic for about a year. Between PCOS, depression, anxiety, and a lifelong unhealthy relationship with food, I've always been obese. I was 282lbs when I started, and on the brink of diabetes. I'm down to 230lbs now, and I've reversed the pre-diabetes. I've had terrible stomach issues the entire time, but I'm nervous to go off of it because I'm afraid I'm gonna pack the weight back on.
Do you get this prescribed? I was told I'm borderline diabetic. Diabetes runs in my family. Matter of fact 2 sisters on dialysis and my Mom was. I need this advice please.
Go see an acupuncturist for weight loss and overeating, you can do that after getting off. The good thing about the acupuncture is that there are no side effects after you stop doing it. But you do have to do it for a couple of sessions
@@justdaphney8717 Yes its perscribed med. not OTC. Tall to your dr. and see what are the options. You can start this med. but think that meds should be for sometimes to help not for the life time. Keep that in mind, there is no short cut and meds comes with side effects.
You can tell you are feeling much better during this time. You are simply glowing compared to the video before this laughing and a lot of smiles too. ☺
thank you for sharing- I was on OZ from Oct to Jan this year. Lost 20 pounds. Positives were no appetite or cravings. Negatives- extreme shortness of breath and exhaustion. I had NO other side effects! Kept in touch with the Dr., regularly monitored the side effects, and finally decided it was not worth it. I have been off of it 2 weeks- still no appetite and also continuing to lose weight. I wanted a jumpstart and I got it. Switched to intermittent fasting/ keto. At 66 I am blessed to have no medical conditions and take no meds. I was put on this to address weight re-gain 10 yrs after a gastric bypass. I am happy for you at this place in your journey- it sounds like you turned a corner!
This same thing happened to me 10 years after my gastric bypass and it seems like I’m slowly climbing back up to the weight I was at prior to getting my gastric bypass in 2010 so they are staring me on ozempic starting Monday.
I had gastric bypass in 2002 and I gained almost all my weight back. It happens more than people think. I never ate right from the beginning and still don’t. I try but it just doesn’t work for me. But Nov 2020 I went to see a gastric bypass doctor at CCF to see about having a revision surgery. But he put me on metformin and topamax and weight started coming off. Thank god. I lost 95 lbs in one year. Then I kind of stalled out. So he has now put me on Ozempic so I’ve been on .25 for 2 weeks now. I haven’t had any side effects. And I hope not to. I hope to at least lose at least another 35 lbs. I don’t want to be skinny I’m not that kind of person. But I haven’t been under 200 in 18 years and I think I’d like to be 175. But I’m happiest I don’t have to have surgery again. Good luck all.
How you feel is most important. It is great to hear you continued to lose after stopping. As you said, different solutions for different people. I wish you continued success🎉
I'm glad things are working out for you. I was on Ozempic for 7 months and I threw up so,so much. The doctor recently took me off of Ozempic, the nausea is horrible. Also, my blood sugar is through the roof since I stopped taking Ozempic. In my first week or two on Ozempic my heart rate went up, so I went to the emergency room and they told me that the doctor started me on too high of a dose,so she had me to stay off of Ozempic for a month and I started out a the lowest starting dose...she was hesitant about putting me back on that medication. She monitored and I was doing well then things turned for me. I was diagnosed with diabetic gastroparesis in 2015 and the Ozempic made my health issue worse. They say it takes five weeks to get out of your system. This medication and others like it are good if it works for you, but for the people it doesn't work for God bless you and I pray that you get through it.
Thank you for sharing. Well - I started my new journey with ozempic yesterday 6/4/23 at the lowest dosage so far. No symptoms so far !!! I found your videos just by looking and searching because i wanted to know how to do my first needle and watch your video on how to do and I thank you for that. Lets see what happens. I do walk everyday 45 min everyday and also work at my house in the yard. So I will be definitely be watching all your videos.
I'm glad I came across your video. When I started ozempic back in 2019 I started having heart palpation and pvc. I asked over and over again if this was the cause of it and was told no. Now studies are coming out saying it can cause heart problems. I'm in the process of making changes in my diabetes care plan and I'm nervous about changing things. I know it has to be done to feel better. I don't feel like I'm alone in this situation. Thank you!
same thing happened to me recently. I was having heart palpitations and felt awful tbh. told my doc who had me at 1mg he wants me to go to. 25mg. we'll see what I decide.
You look fabulous. I’m happy to hear about your journey. Ozempic made me soooo sick. I couldn’t hack it. I haven’t gained my appetite back that much after going off it. I hated that drug, but glad it works for some. The slower you lose the weight, the better, in my opinion. I realized I just had to come to peace with food and figure it out naturally, without medication.
My other primary doctor put me on Ozempic knowing I had heart palpitations had for 12 years. I took one dose and have been sick for 3 weeks can’t eat or drink but pushing floods but wound up in ER. My former primary put me on strongest dose 😡. I can’t take and she knew it because of palpations and also Barretts Disease and Ulcer Coilitis. The ER doctor said he had treated several with the Ozempic very sick and he said same problem no eating or drinking having to force drinking just to stay hydrated but still ended up in ER getting fluids. They have tried several meds on me and because of gastric haven’t been able to take but this one she should have NEVER given me 😢.
I'm glad to know that you didn't regain and have continued to lose. Congratulations. I haven't had nausea or heart palpitations, but it explains a lot about the exhaustion. I'm at point 1, and have noticed that it really controls my appetite. I'm down 25 pounds in 3 months. I'll stay on it for a bit longer, and will adopt better eating habits while on it.
Congratulations 🎊 Anytime you find a way that leads to better health, take it. I have 2 relatives & 1 very dear friend, all are on the fence re: Ozembic despite their Dr. suggesting it. I ask all 3 the same question: "How many morbidly obese Diabetecs have you seen over age 70?" The answer was ZERO. I'm going to share this vlog w/them with the hope that they'll realize they have nothing to lose (but weight) & good health to gain. Thanks for sharing your story. Be BLESSED 🙌🏾
I just want to say that I too appreciate your content on these videos. Your very well spoken and the honesty is great! Keep moving forward, it’s helping many people!
I started Ozempic in June (2022) with the .5, went up to 1 mg. in July and just started on 2 mg. today. I’ve lost 40 pounds since I started taking it. There’s a constant slight stomach discomfort but we’ll worth it for me. I plan on going cold Turkey in November because I want to eat a normal Thanksgiving dinner LOL! But overall I plan on staying on Ozempic until I can’t. Thanks for the info! It was a big help👍👍
Yep my wife's been taking ozempic and she's having the same symptoms as you were..she has been dealing with heart palpitations years before starting ozempic and we could not figure out what was causing her palpitation to come back thanks so much for posting your concerns of the issues you were having with ozempic.. greatly appreciated...
I began Oz. 7 weeks ago, .25 for the first 4 weeks and upped to .5 for the last 3 weeks. My start weight was 243 lbs. my now weight is 222.3. It has considerably controlled my appetite. I get full faster and do not have evening cravings. My doc. put me on it as I am pre diabetic. This has been a God send. Thank you for your videos.
Ditto! I had the same reaction. Weight loss was wonderful. Control was much better BUT I was very tired and somewhat depressed mentally. It finally got so bad I had to quit taking it after a visit to my Cardiologist. I feel much better and the weight has not returned.
Thank you. I started Ozempic for my type 2 and it has been amazing. I watched and rewatched your very precise videos on how to inject. I think of your instruction each week as I inject. You look amazing and so happy that you are finding great health.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME TO MAME AND SHARE YOUR JOURNEY! YOU ARE SPOT ON WHEN YOU SAY THAT EVERYONE’S BODY IS DIFFERENT. THE EFFECTS OF MEDICATION ON THE BODY ISN’T THE SAME FOF EVERYONE . . . SO TRUE!
I started taking Ozempic last year (5/21) I actually watched your video on how to inject it. It suppresses my appetite like crazy! I take the 0.25 dose. Don't think I'll move up. November, life got a lil hectic for me. My mother had a mild heart attack (triple bypass, surgery a success, recovering at rehab) & life went into overdrive. I started having heart palpitations. I was beyond stressed out, nervous & my body was reacting! I remember watching your video where you stated you started having heart palpitations too. I thought ok, well I'm gonna stop taking the Ozempic because, even though I'd been taking it for 7months, it was still the "newest" medication. I too went to the doctor & told her what was happening. My pressure & pulse were good. It was stress & nerves. She said your body is not liking the stress. Fast forward, my mother is doing well, my body has calmed down, no more extreme stress or nervousness. I just started back taking the 0.25 dose & no adverse side effects, however, I'm paying attention to my body. Super good update & thank you for being so transparent.
Ty for sharing I was on ozempic Aug 2022 till march 24 2023 I lost 53 pounds I stopped taking it when I went in the hospital due to rapid heart scared me resting was like yours high so I went off it I’m trying to maintain my weight now n sugars
Just be you honey!! I lost 128 lbs using the 2009 Canada food guide,it took 18 months to loose it. The food guide explains portions sizes. I started with learning how to eat properly and how to cook properly, I lost 10 lbs a month, for the first 4 months. After that I started walking, about a year and a half later I added very easy yoga, ( Simply yoga,)with Yolanda , she’s Australian on u tube , yes it took me time to learn ,but I did my best. I started when I was 48 & now I’m 62 ,I did gain back 30lbs due to life stressors. And by the way I was 285lbs. I still walk daily, stick to eating clean real food ,and I don’t eat red meat. I wish you all the best my dear, take good care. Cuddles from Canada 🧘♀🌺🌸🇬🇧🇨🇦M
I’ve been on ozempic since July and today on March 17 I lost close to 60 pds, from 232 to 170. What a change … cut my meds for hart pressure, diabetes , can exercise more . Ok i got nausea and belly discomfort but it’s all with it . My main problem is to eat enough , to eat very energetic food , because sometimes I have energy drops but I’m working on that . When I’m feeling good , I try to eat more , take a boost liquid meal and crank up my energy. But I feel so good in my new body , it’s all worth it … I take .5 and don’t think I need 1.0. What I need to do now is build up my muscles update sept 12 .. april and mai my weight dropped again to 159 pds.. Got scared, energy loss, muscle fatigue , so my doc told me to cut from 0.50 to 0.25. That did it i gained enough energy and weight to do what i have to do. Now im gaining a bit too much but nothing dramatic .. heat waves have stop my cycling but fresher days will get me mooving a gain. according to my doctor i am an ozempic success... no after effects since my dose has been reduced. no reason it wont stay that way .
I love your comment about how everyone reacts to medication differently. Genetic variants play a big role and if for example you have GLP-1R gene variant, your reaction could be either more or less to GLP1 RA. I loved listening to your journey.
I started a 0.25 dose only last week and I already have noticed an incredible appetite suppression, to the point that I have to be reminded to eat (I also have ADHD so if I don't feel hungry I can forget to eat) so I'm hopeful that this will help as I have PCOS as well as newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes so losing weight has been very difficult.
I had my first shot at 0.25 and within two hours the overwhelming hunger was simply gone. It is very liberating. I now understand how normal people who are not deficient in the saiety hormone keep their weight at normal. Keep going - it pays off!
My doctor called me TODAY to come into the office to try Ozempic. I’m in pre-diabetes category on top of PCOS and thyroid issues. I’m so excited to try it.
HI Danielle- you have everything I have had for many years. I wish I had had Ozempic years ago- I had PCOS then too. I hope it all goes well for you- I have found my anxiety etc has gone as I feel so much better and I look like I did when I was much younger. I hope it all goes well for you. Doctors have been my biggest problem with their lack of endocrine knowledge and their interaction and how to treat someone properly. I really wish you well.
You're dealing with everything I have, how are you doing so far. I'm just starting week 2. I will be doing my 1st weigh-in over the weekend. My thyroid has caused me to gain 45 lbs in 3 years I'm really hoping this works.
That sounds like everyone I know who has cushings. Those are symptoms of a pituitary tumor + adrenal disease. My pcos symptoms went away after surgery for Cushing’s.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and creating this video! It sounds so similar to what I’ve been going through . I couldn’t figure out why out of the blue my heart rate would be elevated in the mornings, and I’d wake up lightheaded and dizzy.😕
Hello, I stumbled on your video today and found it very interesting. First off, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about a year ago and because my AIC kept creeping up even though I was managing my diet, etc., they put me on Ozempic. I am just now taking my second dose of the .5ml. I have not noticed very many side affects, just the occasional nausea but it doesn't progress and goes away pretty quickly. I have lost 38 pounds and counting, which is really nice. It also ended my 5 year battle with diarrhea and the need to take two Imodium twice daily to control it. I have also experienced the need to eat several small meals a day instead of the basic 3 meals. I'm going to go back and watch your journey with Ozempic because the heart palpitations terrifies me since my sister died three years ago from a side affect of her cancer medication involving her perfectly healthy heart. Her chemo drug stopped her heart and ended her life on the 4th day of taking it. On a side note, please don't let anyone body shame you! This is 2022 people and we seem to be able to accept different ethnicities and sexual orientation, but we still have trouble with acceptance of those who are not the perfect looking size 2. Even Hollywood who has cast a "skinny" person (Rene Zellweger) in another movie, placing her in a "fat suit" instead of hiring a plus sized actress for the role of the plus sized character. That is what is shameful and unacceptable, not the appearance of someone who is plus size. You are beautiful, just the way you are. And if you wish to change the way you look or lose weight to better your health, that is your right but it doesn't make you any more beautiful than who you are right now! Judging someone for their size and/or appearance is never ok, you never know what another person is going through and unless you've walked in their shoes, just love and be accepting. Kindness matters!
Omg, I just found your channel and my doctor just put me on Ozempic & I didn’t get it because it cost almost 300.00$ to fill. I said I wouldn’t pay that much money for something I didn’t know would make me sick. I can’t wait to see your other videos
Thank you for your story! I've been on 1.0 mg of Ozempic for a little over 4 months. Starting with .25 for a month, then .5 for a month and then, 10 at 1.0. I was on 1000mg Metformin and Ozempic, but I talked to my dr. since my a1c is down from 7.8 to 6.5, could I stop taking the Metformin. She said yes and all my tummy problems are gone! I do get a tummy ache if I eat to much in 1 sitting. I don't really watch what I eat, I'm mindful, but if I want chocolate, I eat it, just not the whole candy bar. I don't exercise regularly, but do try to get my steps in.But I've been looking for the weight loss part. It says you should loose 10% in a year. It's kind of freaking me out that in 4 month I've lost 45 lb, 17.7%! I'm not complaining, but very shocked as I have ALWAYS struggled with my weight, and this is working so well, I wish it was around along time ago!! This is results you would see after a surgery. So I just must have the lucky system! I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see where it takes me!
I wonder if I should cut the metformin. I haven’t been able to get past .5 because my stomach is so bad on this. I suspected for awhile it was the mix of metformin and ozempic but I know people who take both and have no issues. I really don’t need to take metformin anymore, so maybe I’ll cut it.
As a person who went through similar health issues for 20+ years I did several things to help manage symptoms of autoimmune diabetes issues. I used to eat an ENTIRE cake in one sitting as a preeteen. Had no idea it was endocrine issues. Thought I was weak when i realized it was childhood trauma/ hereditary hormonal imbalances attacking my system. If you are not getting enough chromium ( found in onions) cranberries ( vitamin D through morning sunlight) and limiting dairy and meat/ supplementing with magnesium it will be difficult to sustain long term results. If you are doing high intensity cardio workouts, cut back and focus on walking, weights and pilates. Hot soup in the morning with beans and a handful of greens and raspberry hibiscus/ ginger tea morning and night will help immensely with insulin issues. I am speaking from the perspective of a person that has had disordered eating, endocrine imbalances and autoimmune health issues this is what will make a huge difference in addition to what's else you are doing.
I'm LADA too! 8 months into the diagnostic here =) it's so good to meet someone who goes through the same things that I do! I was never on Ozempic because it is so expensive where I live (although my doctor suggested), but I was on other medications and couldn't handle the side effects, until I got to the same point at you and said, please, let me take insulin.
I needed this video sooo much thank you thank you thank you I am so afraid to stop Ozempic but it is soooo harsh. I'm proud of you and thank you for helping me!! I appreciate you!
Thank you for this video. I’ve been taking Ozempic for almost a year, and I’ve finally at a point where I don’t experience the nausea anymore. I’m at the lowest dosage, and after finally getting relief from the nausea, I’m contemplating going to the next level. However, I’m nervous about increasing because I don’t want to possibly experience any other side effects. My A1C has gotten down to 6.5 (had gotten up to 7.4 before my doctor pout me on Ozempic). So thankful I found your channel. Bless You! ❤️
@@tricebx718 the length nausea is different for everyone. But what help to relieve the nausea for me was Ginger Chews. They’re an all natural (slice of dehydrated ginger and sweetened with honey). Every time I started getting that feeling, I chewed on a ginger chew, and that feeling instantly went away! Hopefully this will help you should you have nausea issues.
I'm shocked! I never put two and two together until your video. I started Ozempic in June. Started 0.25, then 0.5, then 1.0. Gradual increase. But i suffered terribly from nausea, pain in my abdomen, and dizziness. I plowed through it and after 8 weeks I was feeling ok .. Then, after about 10 weeks on Ozempic, I ended up I hospital. Heart palpitations so bad they were registering on my BP machine. I already have an unexplained high heart rate, but the palpitations were continuous, happening every 5-10 seconds. They couldn't explain it. Now I'm wondering if it's the Ozempic?? I initially lost weight (probably because I was too nauseous to eat), but I haven't lost anything in months. My sugars are terrible. Despite following a strict diet, most days I still have to take 200u of insulin (and my sugars are still way too high). My body doesn't seem to respond well to drugs in general, and I'm def insulin resistant. I called my diabetic doctor to try and discuss what to do next, and he's no longer seeing patients. It took me 18 mths to get in to see him initially, despite my high sugars and complications (neuropathy in my feet and legs). It will most likely take another 1-2 yrs to get into a new specialist :( Canadian healthcare may be free, but it's terrible! Especially in the part of the country I live in. I feel like I've been abandoned and left to try and figure this out on my own now. Thank you for your viewpoint. Since it's no longer helping my sugars or weight, I may try to gradually take myself off it (and pray I can get in to see a new doctor soon. Take care ❤️
Do you have a high heart rate when you stand up or feel worse after showering or in heat? If so you might want to research Postural Othorstatic Tachycardia syndrome - also called POTs. It's a form of Dysautonomia.
I first heard of LADA 25yrs ago when my daughter was diagnosed at age 6 with type 1 diabetes. I think LADA is probably more common than we realize, and often gets misdiagnosed as type 2 initially.
You're articulate and seemed very intelligent. I have type 2 diabetes and about 20 lbs over weight. I was approved for Ozempic, and I am excited to try it out, not only to help me with my diabetes but to help to get rid of this excess weight. I know 20 lbs isn't a lot for most people, but for me, being a thin person my whole life and then having to deal with this little bit of excess weight has been a huge struggle for me. I'm hoping this medication will help. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You've answered a lot of questions for me and been very helpful. I wish you all the best moving forward on your health journey. Take care....😊
Thank you for being so open and honest and sharing your point of view! I have lost 40 pounds on Ozempic and 20 pounds away from my goal weight. Once i lost the 40 pounds my body couldn't handle to 1.0 dose so I'm down to 0.25 and worried i wont loose as much but will see! Gravol has been a life saver for the nausea!
Thank you for putting this out there. I've been on Ozempic with no side effects. However, it is chronically on back order due to the demand, so I have been on and off a couple of times. During my off times, I continue to lose weight because of my dietary changes, and my blood sugar is under great control. I'm postmenopausal and happy with my results thus far.
Thank you so much for this video. It is so comforting to hear a success story because there are many disheartening comments on the internet claiming that everyone gains the weight back after stopping ozempic as it this was the rule for everyone. Congrats on your amazing achievements ❤️
I've been on it since April 2021... LADA Type 1... Went from 234 lbs. to 150 lbs... started at a 9.4 A1C and dropped to a 7.6... Now back up to an 8.3... kind of disappointing because I'm still getting sick and major fluctuations in bowel movements... Gonna put me on a pump to try to regulate blood sugars and A1C... Wish me luck, been a rough time...
My PCP put me on it for Weightloss. I’m not diabetic. I started 2/7 and I’m down 5 lbs as of 2/20. No heart palpitations, thank God because I have a history of AFIB. I appreciate these videos they are very helpful. ☺️
How are you doing? I started it a week ago for weight loss but it has not suppressed my appetite at all and no side effects. Curious to know how much you’ve lost.
Thank you so much for educating everyone about different reactions and outcomes! We are all very different!! Has anyone else felt extremely tired on the .5?
Was hospitalized in ICU for 4 days nov 2022 and diagnosed out of nowhere with LADA. A year later it’s been proabably one of the most emotionally frustrating things to accept and deal with. And the weight gain and or weight not dropping unless I do extremely unsustainable and dangerous , things like starving myself, exercise two times a day, skipping insulin, etc I’m hoping to start ozempic soon nd it helps with weight loss…but sustainable weight loss that won’t immediately come back
I am so glad to hear continued weight loss after OZempic. I just started it and I have a 3 month supply… after that I may not get more. It’s insanely expensive!! All of them in this class are… so I am kickstarting but will likely have to go back to metformin after my samples run out 😩
Here in australia ozempic is only approved for type 2 diabetics. We are now having supply issues because unscrupulous online doctors are prescribing it here for people to just lose weight and so diabetics, like myself, cannot get their medication to balance blood glucose levels. So this comment is to those online doctors who are prescribing this in australia for people other than diabetics to please stop until those with the approved by TGA use can get the meds first.
It is so painful to grow up with obesity and food addiction..As young as 5 I remember crying about being fat and not going swimming at the summer playground camp,5.So at 67 ,I had a heart aattack, stents and dreaming of taking Ozempic to lower my weight, since it was revealed..Haven't done it yet ,and now ,I am rethinking it.No one knows nutrition like a fat girl, every program ,every diet.I appreciate you and all you share..peace
Very true! As a child I was given food to make me happy. And now it’s a huge habit at 23 to reward myself. Ever since I was conscious as a kid I always wanted to lose weight even when I was 11 I said don’t get above 200 pounds! I’m at 260 now. I tried everything under the sun. Here’s to ozempic and helping me
Thank you for your honesty. You have medical conditions that fight against weight loss. 40 grams of carbs is still low carbs. That helps a lot! You go girl! Keep it going! God bless
I’ve been on Ozempic since Oct 2021 and I’ve noticed a decrease in appetite and have lost a few pounds. Very little nausea on my current dose. A1c before starting Ozempic was 5.7 and after being on the drug dropped to 5.3. In mainly taking the drug to help with appetite reduction. Thus far I’ve not experienced the heart palpitations. Thanks for sharing you’re experiences.
You poor thing…I sure hope and pray all of these side effects have went away. I pray you continue to be successful on your journey, and that it all works out smoothly!
Sounds like you had the same problem as I have. I’m in the process of stopping due to high heart rate and BP plus abject nausea. I ended up 5 days in hospital having numerous ECGs, an Angiogram and Echo ultrasound. It’s was all fine. So after having my BP meds raised and having a slowing med added for my heart I’m stopping. The deal breaker was going from .25 to .5 and I had a heart episode with in 24 hours and was so sick. Now I just have to wait out the time for the horrible stuff to get out of my system. Yes it works for some and is a good choice but not for others including me.
Do you know how long you have to wait for it to be gone from your body? I just recently stopped myself and still experiencing symptoms that I can’t handle anymore .
@@riohondoish84 Research says 5 weeks until it is COMPLETELY out of your body. Keep in mind that your negative side effects will keep reducing during that time! Don't worry that you'll feel so bad "until 5 weeks have passed". You'll progressively feel better each day!
I didn’t increase my dosage when my doctor told me to, I controlled it w diet and reached my ideal weight but kept losing, I then had to alter my diet so as not to lose too much.
Thanks so much for this review. It's great to hear someone's first-hand experience with Ozempic. I've been tempted to try it, but it seems like the easy way out. I just need to get serious with my diet.
Yes! I too have the heart palpitations, rapid heart rate and shortness of breath on trulicity 0.75 (lowest dose available). I just turned 40 and have never experienced any of those issues... From my research sadly it's quite common for drug companies NOT to be completely transparent and even cover up certain harmful side effects. We have to remember their #1 goal is profit not our health unfortunately.
Maybe you should read the medication information sheet that comes with the medication. Everything is there including heart palpitations pains side effects. You do have to be smart enough to read.
You were a pioneer with Ozempic - and i want to Thank You for Sharing Your experience with this medication- i was just prescribed this medication and am a bit hesitant about taking it. Im taking metformin and lipitor -and have decided to go plant based - im sorry about the crazy comments that you had to deal with… keep doing your thing!!!
I was actually recently thinking about adopting more plant-based meals into my diet both for ease and because my mama passed away from a heart attack earlier this year and I want to reduce my risk as much as possible. Best of luck on your journey and thank you for your kind comments! 💕
Thanks for answering my questions about re-gain! Doc just put me on Ozempic. I'm pre-diabetic (6.0 A1C), hypothyroid, post-menopause, and the weight gain from those conditions, sucks. A few years ago I took Phentermine and went from 188 to 145 in a few months....which was awesome...but it didn't last. Now I'm back up to 213 lbs (I'm only 5'4") and at my limit. So sick of being fat when my weight does not reflect my diet. It's hormonal weight, not from too many cookies. Hoping this works. Not crazy about the needle part, but if I lose weight it'll be worth it. I don't need to get back down to 145 but 160-165 would be nice.
Things that helped me with the needle stick: Let it sit on the counter for 20-30 minutes. Doing cold stings more. I lie down on the couch and inject into one side of my stomach and alternate each week. I don't look at the needle!
Wow Jerseytomato100 I’m surprised a doctor put you on such strong medication when your A1C is 6.0 being that is a non diabetic number! Ooze pic can cause throat and thyroid cancer and acid reflux!
I actually gained 5 lbs immediately! I swelled up in my stomach and belly area. I ended up sick in bed barely able to go to the bathroom and get food. Never been so sick. Went off it after about three weeks, back to my novakog70/30 and januvia. I still dont feel like myself! Worst experience in the 25 years I have been diabtic. The symptoms never went away😧
Hi, I’m so sorry to bug you with this. But I was basically forced to come off ozempic about 3months ago (I’m in Australia and we have a shortage). In that time, I regained nearly 10kgs (I went from 72kg to 81kg). It’s been a really depressing time for me. Just wanted to vent to someone. Thx for your help. I really enjoy your content. 🙏
USC75 I am also in Aus and that has been my experience too, putting back on 10kg in 4 months - very frustrating after all the hard work to lose it in the first place…I don’t know why they can’t increase production to meet the demand….
@@dorianacorda4499 Ikr, (I’m just going to apologise in advance because I really went off on a few tangents here, I just hope you have the patience to get to end of this, 🙏 & whether you agree with my assessment of what I think is going on. it’s started, for example, going to buy groceries: there’s very few to no fruit/veg/meat, even bread is always sold out, BUT even if you are lucky enough to actually get what’s on your shopping list (is it just me being dramatic or not, lemme know if things are the same where you are), food prices in (Brisbane area) have gone up by about 30% on average, and what about keeping a roof over your head (I’m a renter, and while I had planned on moving when we were at the 2yr mark, I really did a deep search for any available properties in our area, there was so few, and all were way over our budget. I mean I don’t know, but are they (the owner/landlords) really paying that much more in interest that it justifies this hike in price. I’m doubtful, but I don’t know. And my next gripe is petrol, they (our politicians/government have the ability to keep the fuel prices down, but they’re not. It’s a non issue for them cos I take it they’re driving company car & they get free company fuel card. Its irrelevant now, the election is over, theres no need to bs people with bs lies and false hope. I was going to share my trip to east Germany when I was a kid, but I think ill save it for another time, lol. P.s. Just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed the discrepancy of price of fuel and op shops, I mean specifically the area mixup. In the nicer areas, both the price of fuel, and what op shop/charity shops sell is usually better quality and cheaper than similar op shops in crappy areas (tho I’ll admit it was usually always the bigger chains that did these price hikes eg. Lifeline, Salvos etc. I’m sorry again if you even made it this far. I think this is a sign that I need someone to talk to cos I’m literally venting on TH-cam 😔🤷♀️Thank you and sorry it was off topic, but I got my stories mixed up.
I'm off ozempic because the shortage it's a matter of mind over matter. Don't eat cheese no sugar heaps of water protien as this keeps you full. Do what u dud while on ozempic it will do the same thing. Go for a walk even a short walk.
Going through that now here in Hawaii, only in the first month still. I'm gaining weight back, cravings have returned and struggling with focus and depression as well. You're not alone. 🥺
@@dorianacorda4499 Right, there’s no problem getting enough vaccines out there 🤷🏻♀️. But I guess potentially saving the healthcare system the costs associated with diseases directly linked to obesity eg. Diabetes, isn’t high on their priority list. It’s frustrating cos I’ve also seen the ads for wegovy (which is exactly the same as ozempic, but apparently specifically intended for use in weight loss). I’ve asked my local chemist every time I go in (for about the last 6months or more) and they have no idea when it’ll be available again. Also take into consideration, even when it is, unless you’re diabetic, you’re unlikely going to get it because they obviously have priority. I’m hoping that situation will change when they finally bring wegovy to our shelves. They try to get you with “prescriptions”, but we all know that’s not the issue. Any decent gp, knows how effective this drug is for weight loss, and I’ve had no problem getting a prescription. It’s like we said, it’s just the availability issue. Anyway sorry for rambling on, just had to have a bit of a vent, lol 😂. Hopefully it’s back on shelves soon 🤞
Thank you for sharing! I’ve been taking the maximin dose of Wegovy for a year now with no additional weight loss. I’m starting to go off and am relieved to hear that it’s possible to lose weight after instead of gaining. I’ve heard that if you don’t have much to lose, Wegovy works very well, but if you’re like me and have a lot to lose, it doesn’t do much.
Started taking Ozempic 3 weeks ago. But my first 2 doses wasn't right cause I wasn't told how to use the pin. I watched your videos and it helped me thank you so much for your videos
@@cloudsunicorns194 I wasn't told how to use the pen like I didn't know where to stop clicking it to then I realized by watching this video I had done it wrong
I’ve been on ozempic for like almost 4 months now. I haven’t left .5 because it’s caused such crazy issues with my stomach. I spare you the details but the normal GI issues someone with IBS would have but 10x. So my appointment to have my dosage increased my doc said he wasn’t raising my dose until the issues have resolved themselves fully. So I’m stuck there. Luckily my hunger has really responded well to .5, but the cravings are only down about half as much. So I get full off of half of what I used to eat. And a lot of the cravings for fried foods have gone away. Still have some cravings for sweets but I can better control myself. I think I’ve lost about 28lbs in 4 months with no real dieting and zero exercise. I need to start eating purposely better and work out, but I’ve had a lot of high stress issues get in the way of that lately. 😫 If you can stand the side effects of ozempic, get it! But it absolutely has side effects. 😳

To suddenly have a issues. Very scary! Plus the nausea was getting very very bad. I did lose 20 pds in the short time I was on it. I will not be taking this drug again.
Why not just stay on ozempic for life it says you can ….. just curious?
I think your tachycardia etc were due to ozempic causing hypoglycemia since you were also on insulin
I started Ozempic in August 2021 and as of today, February 9 2022, I’ve lost 47.7lbs. I still not where I want to be but Ozempic is the only reason i’ve cone this far. I was 199.5 and I’m 151.8 now. Only 15 more to go
Really some of you are really losing huge weight with this
Woah you have similar results to me in a similar amount of time.
Wow that's amazing! So along with the ozempic what else are you doing? I just started it I'm on wk two. Could use some advice.
This is a awesome share! With all of those studies scaring people that weight gain rushes back, it is refreshing to see your journey!
Glad other options are working for you. Ozempic and Trulicity have been godsends because I didn’t wanna go under the knife with gastric bypass. I’m stuck a little right now but I’m down 121lbs in 8 months in conjunction with eating habits and working out almost everyday
Wow!!! 👏👏👏
Dam!!💪🏾
Congratulations....job well done.👍

That’s rude people needs to stop judging and start helping don’t listin to people like that I think your a great person very informative
@thehangrywoman I truly appreciate your videos past and present. Keep up the good health.
Try valerian , it will help calm your heart down and body :)
That’s scary, good in you for stopping

How long were you experiencing heart palpitations before you stopped taking the Ozempic?
Hey just a suggestion for you for being regular, PROBIOTICS! I very been taking them since 1995 and they not only break down your food but they also regulate YEAST FOR a ladies perfect health! You can get the cheaper Walgreens or CVS brands as Align and the Culterelle name brands are $$$$.
Wow!!! That's awesome. A1C down to 7.1
I’m in week 9.
Wow -- good for you! I wish it was working that well for me, but I'm so happy to hear this.
I love being on Ozempic! A1C is great…. Down 35lbs…..

You are so kind, thank you!
Good luck to you! I think it is a wonderful medication for a lot of people. Hope you find it helpful.
How are you doing now Jovi?
@@TheHangryWoman the heart palpitations were an allergic reaction?
I had tachycardia and was sent to a cardiologist, then an endocrinologist and THAT is how I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease. I totally understand what you mean about feeling like your heart is going to burst out of your chest. It's scary. I'm so glad that you were able to make a change that made you feel better.
Was that made by using ozempic??? 😮😮😮😮
I had Graves’ disease too. It took them a year to diagnose me, until I was in the icu from having a thyroid storm.
I have all that and then some but I feel like Ozempic isn’t working for me. May I ask what diet plan you follow while on it?
You still have to change your lifestyle. Add walking and or aerobics exercises to get way ahead of the curve
@jean woodhouse how are you going with it now?
How are you doing currently.
I have been off 3 months yesterday. My blood sugar is still elevated and I am still dealing with side effects.
So much better now. Thank you for asking 🙏🏽
I understand. It's not a good medication 🙏🏽
I am so happy and grateful that I ran across your videos. You are helping me in so many ways.
I’m glad you came off the ozempic and I’m truly happy that you’ve continued to loose and your health has increased so greatly in the last year!
Hi do you have any updates since you wrote this?
Thank you so much for sharing this. It's hard to find people's experiences after coming off Ozempic.
Does she have Dysautonomia/POTs? I've been thinking about trying Ozempic but I already deal with tachycardia from Dysautonomia.
Control was much better
BUT I was very tired and somewhat depressed mentally. It finally got so bad I had to
quit taking it after a visit to my Cardiologist. I feel much better and the weight has not
returned.

Just be you honey!! I lost 128 lbs using the 2009 Canada food guide,it took 18 months to loose it. The food guide explains portions sizes.
I started with learning how to eat properly and how to cook properly, I lost 10 lbs a month, for the first 4 months.
After that I started walking, about a year and a half later I added very easy yoga,
( Simply yoga,)with Yolanda , she’s Australian on u tube , yes it took me time to learn ,but I did my best.
Much respect, Michelle!
What I need to do now is build up my muscles
update sept 12 .. april and mai my weight dropped again to 159 pds..
I have heard many who have had the Covid vaccine are having the symptoms she is having. Heart palpitations and other issues.
Thanks for the info. Good luck on your journey
Thank you for posting 🥰. I just started today and it’s so good to hear about all your victories!! Congratulations on your weight loss
Best of luck to you! I hope it works well for you and you reach all of your goals ❤️
How has it been going since you commented 2 months ago?
I love your comment about how everyone reacts to medication differently. Genetic variants play a big role and if for example you have GLP-1R gene variant, your reaction could be either more or less to GLP1 RA. I loved listening to your journey.
I started a 0.25 dose only last week and I already have noticed an incredible appetite suppression, to the point that I have to be reminded to eat (I also have ADHD so if I don't feel hungry I can forget to eat) so I'm hopeful that this will help as I have PCOS as well as newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes so losing weight has been very difficult.
Seems like a lot of us have that stupid PCOS. To go with my PCOS, I have bipolar disorder and some of the meds can cause big time weight gain.

How’s your experience so far?
I want to try this too .I also have hyperthyroidism and gain massive weight ..Does insurance cover it
That sounds like everyone I know who has cushings.
I’m sorry for your loss ♥️
Might be worth getting a dexa scan to make sure you aren't losing too much muscle or bone.
Sounds amazing ❤
Bless You! ❤️
Hello the nauseous lasted a year ? Oh now . I took my first shot and the nausea just started
Eliminate carbohydrates. Look up Dr. Jason Fung.
Do you have a high heart rate when you stand up or feel worse after showering or in heat? If so you might want to research Postural Othorstatic Tachycardia syndrome - also called POTs. It's a form of Dysautonomia.
My GP told me that Ozempic was supposed to help with heart problems.
Your video is interesting, thank you.
Do not worry about what people say. God Bless you!!!
Yaass!! Everyone different!! You’re amazing for being so vulnerable and sharing❤️❤️❤️
Yes very much so, plus I have the heart palps too and the nausea is unreal.
Was hospitalized in ICU for 4 days nov 2022 and diagnosed out of nowhere with LADA. A year later it’s been proabably one of the most emotionally frustrating things to accept and deal with. And the weight gain and or weight not dropping unless I do extremely unsustainable and dangerous , things like starving myself, exercise two times a day, skipping insulin, etc
I’m hoping to start ozempic soon nd it helps with weight loss…but sustainable weight loss that won’t immediately come back
I love your videos. You are so well composed and give information with great substance!
I am so glad to hear continued weight loss after OZempic. I just started it and I have a 3 month supply… after that I may not get more. It’s insanely expensive!! All of them in this class are… so I am kickstarting but will likely have to go back to metformin after my samples run out 😩
in Russia it costs 100$ and u?
Have you checked their website for discounts?
If your A1C level is at 6.5 or higher the meds should be FREE....
Here in Connecticut it was $550 for one month on Medicare!!! No samples!! Who can afford this????
That’s so sad in Australia it’s $100 but if your on health care by the government it’s costs $40
So glad that you have not had rebound weight gain after coming off Ozempic. Encouraging
Thank you for sharing your story! Gives people hope that they can keep the weight off!!
God bless
I wonder if she poops a lot.
I didn’t increase my dosage when my doctor told me to, I controlled it w diet and reached my ideal weight but kept losing, I then had to alter my diet so as not to lose too much.
try your thigh for injection . That’s what my doc recommended for nausea!
Heart palpitations is a known possible side effect of these weight loss drugs. Which is why it is started at a low dose.
I am starting next week. I want to know how it's working.
I just came off and am gaining a pound a day
Things that helped me with the needle stick: Let it sit on the counter for 20-30 minutes.
@Mary Gallagher it only needs to be cold before you open it for the first time. After it's opened then it's supposed to be room temperature
I am taking Ozempic but for weight loss and a little sugar and for me is very good i have loss already like 30. Thank you for your videos.
Do you take metformin with the ozempic
@@mjrich6572 yes, but half dosis.
I’ve been on ozempic for 6 months and have lost 27 lbs. I have no side effects and feel much better.
Clear concise and everything you are saying makes sense… i love your content❤
I actually gained 5 lbs immediately! I swelled up in my stomach and belly area.
I ended up sick in bed barely able to go to the bathroom and get food. Never been so sick. Went off it after about three weeks, back to my novakog70/30 and januvia.
I still dont feel like myself!
Worst experience in the 25 years I have been diabtic.
The symptoms never went
away😧
😔
I'm starting Ozempic this week and it's been really helpful to hear about your experiences! I appreciate you!
I watched your videos and it helped me thank you so much for your videos
the pen is a auto injection that has the dose pre filled...how did that happen?
Best channel name! Just found you because I just took this for the first time today! I think it’s so sad that you had to advocate so hard and so long for yourself! I’m so glad I found you today and added loads of your videos to my watch later. Thanks for your vulnerability and sharing 💕
Great video report!!! Very filled with needed detail.
You look great. Good luck with your continuing journey…sounds like it’s going to be fab.!!🌸
