- In today’s vlog we check into our Margaritaville Resort cottage! We’re staying in the Key Lime Cabana, big thank you to the owners for setting us up with a little staycation! We start our stay with a full and detailed tour of the cottage and then head out to Sunset Walk for a little BBQ for dinner! Then we head back and give our first impressions of the cottage. Jackson’s video bombing at the bottom of the stairs reminded me of the professor on the BBC who’s kids burst in on his big moment. Adorable little scene stealer.
Also, I was today years old when I learnt what a “half bath” is. I’m an adult and I still imagined a tiny bath tub.

Tim had a magical costume change between the downstairs and the upstairs. Downstairs @11:13 he was wearing a blue shirt, and @15:30 he’s wearing a white shirt!!!
Every man in my family wears a white or black tee underneath collared shirts. The magic of layering.

You can save yourself some room if you change Jackson to a booster. This puts him at the table with you and save the worry of a high chair.
I loved Tim's laugh when Jackson snuck his way into the shot at the bottom of the stairs! XD Also the little subtle voice over of "cabana" at the end was well-edited but made me chuckle nonetheless! Great vlog as always (:

The shops you all passed on the way to the resort hit me with a lot of nostalgia. My family used to frequent another resort really close to Margaritaville and we used to drive past those shops all the time going to and from various parks.
What happened? Why did y’all stop?
@@jazzyuploaded20 My mother quit her job and got a lower paying one, and my father was laid-off and found another lower paying job. The trip simply became too much of a financial burden, and so we haven't taken the journey there as a family in a while. Now that were all adults though, we are able to afford a trip and will be going together this summer ^^

I had my wedding at Margaritaville. The cottages are absolutely beautiful! The whole resort is amazing!

There is a Target very close. Next to Sunset Walk. Which is nice for some groceries or if you forgot something.

We stayed there in January for a few nights and loved it! Got a 7 bedroom and split it with some friends and we had an awesome time!
We went to universal daily and it was a very short drive. It was so nice being able to cook there daily and save some money.
Definitely worth the trip!!

This may be controversial with some but it is my idea of hell to sit out on the back patio where you could practically touch the neighbours in the hot tub without getting up! Personally I love a fantastic hotel room and all the trimmings a hotel stay brings but I understand why some like villas it’s just not for me. Plus I wouldn’t want to sleep next to the flimsy front door downstairs either 😳.

I always make a list for packing to go away! In fact my Mom has a list that she typed up with anything that we might possibly need to go on a trip. She’s had it for years and she always reminds me to look at it before I make my own list so I don’t forget something of importance.

"Cabana" LMFAOOO THAT ADD IN WAS HILARIOUS OMG!!! but WOW THIS PLACE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!!! I love it so much I would love to stay there!!! I love the palm tree painting that was pretty and all of the decor and the provided snacks yum!!! And omg a Margarita maker!!! The part with Jenn grabbing Jackson and Tim laughing is so funny and adorable haha!!! That BBQ looked AMAZING AND DELISH WOW!!! SO YUMMY!!! I was like where is the jalapeno poppers haha!!! But I wonder if Tim went and got ice cream haha!!!
Omg this is perfect timing. We ordered a margaritaville cottage months ago and we are going in two weeks. Got more excited.
Margaritaville looks amazing. I remember when we used to drive past as it was being cleared and built on previous stays just on the 27 wondering what it was going to look/be like. Being a Brit on holiday I’ve spent many a minute in those gift stores on the 192, mostly the 2 next to IHOP after breakfast! I can’t wait for the day it’s ok to travel and we’ve got a strangle hold on covid so I can be out there again

Since I need very specific things to be comfortable when I travel, I keep a checklist in my phone of the essential ~20 things I need to take so I can check and uncheck every time I pack up. Then if I need something extra for a specific trip I'll either add it to the list, or just write a note at the bottom along with things I need to do before I go. My brain is a pile of mashed potatoes all the time, I can't just wing it lol
I've been going through old family memorabilia and have found several packing lists for our camping trips to Fort Wilderness. Even with following the same routine and family traditions, I still had to have a list to make sure nothing was forgotten.
Also, in reference to going through memorabilia. You both had mentioned in the past that you had many projects to do that involved things you brought to the new home from the old. I encourage you to take a day or two to go through those memories and keep the most important things and donate the rest. You'll be glad you did the next time you have to move and you don't have a lot of 'stuff' you've been gathering that you have to haul off with you.
you put all of your fixins IN the pitcher, ice goes in the top, as the ice melts it drains into the container in back. I have a regular Margaritaville and can tell you for frozen drinks it is amazing!!

I went to margaritaville Island in Tennessee, they had a island fountain show with music and lights and so much more. Was a great time there

Seeing the giant wizard store from The Florida Project wasn’t something I was expecting in a Tim Tracker video
He’s done a video going to that store and others like it before. That store has been there since I was young and would take trips to Disney.
My sister and I found them at the pool we were vacationing there we stumbled upon them

What you do is that you create a packing list and upload it to your google drive or whatever you use and then you have the same list over and over. you always have access to it and it is so easy to modify. I bet you'd never have to buy baby shampoo at the resort convenient store ever again.

The memories of all the gift shops on 192. When I visited in 2012 I stayed at one of those rental house neighbourhoods nearby.

When you were packing and talking about checklists, I wanted to be able to remind you to pack Jackson's baby shampoo! 😃 Margaritaville resort looks gorgeous! And I just did a quick price comparison and it looks like you can get a 2 bedroom cottage for the price of a moderate Disney room which is 🤯. Next time you stay off site, please can you show us how long it takes to get to the parks including parking, tram etc. 😊✨
That whole stretch of 192 is great. My family and I vacation at the Holiday Inn at Orange lake.

I love his happy dance when he likes something he's eating and when he is excited. They have soft foldable booster seat style high chairs that fit you can fasten to the dining chair so that you won't have to carry the larger bulky part of his high chair. They are really reasonable at $25.
I've been excited for this since the first Margaritaville tour ages ago! The cottages just looked so nice and I like the little community atmosphere.

When it comes to packing for a trip, I usually make a list when it comes to “special items”. For Disney World trips, that list would include items like our trading pins and even our Disney Bound/Batuu Bound outfits.

I think she's just more comfortable keeping an eye on Jackson. I know she moved to the front seat and then to the back again pretty recently
They recently built a Margaritaville resort here in Nassau Bahamas. I'm waiting for them to open fully so I can go and vlog there. We also have a Margaritaville restaurant.
My family and I have a time share with west gate resorts right in Kissimmee . We haven’t been in awhile and seeing Tim and Jen drive by those gift shops on 192 reminded me of my childhood lol

Making a packing list is always a good idea. Will help to not forget the baby shampoo... or you can get a “little man” toiletries bag that you only use while on vacation and your day to day stays at home.
Never thought to put my silverware in the cabinet and not a drawer. Actually a great idea!! Not too much of a fan of the extra small closets. That video game would be better downstairs. I have one of those in my house. I want those stools at the cocktail game table.
