Did the same cruise a few weeks before you! Loved Dubrovnik and Split, Trieste was also a pleasant surprise. We had a drink at the same little bar (through the wall) in Dubrovnik as you. We also had a snack/lunch at the top of the cable car, the view was fab. As a middle-aged couple it's great to see younger people enjoying cruising - our daughters, who are now 23, have done 5 with us, and have always enjoyed it. This was the first one we did on our own. We also did the previous week (had a day in Malta in the middle) where we went to Rome, Nice and Corsica. Hope you cruise again and continue to enjoy it!

I’ve had a similar cruise experience as your daughters - I cruised a lot with my family when I was younger (the kids clubs allowed me to meet lots of friends, often some of the same people on multiple cruises). It was great to take my boyfriend - a first time cruiser. Definitely looking to cruise again, would be great to try some of the different lines too as I’ve only ever been on the various P&O ships! 🚢
@@BeccaandSoph we've only done P&O also! (Ventura, Azura and Britannia). Daughters are twins, so they looked after themselves and didn't do kids clubs. They liked doing afternoon tea on sea days! We did a Baltics cruise on Azura 3 years ago, where the demographic was quite "aged" (I felt young!) where they were asked more than once if they part of Headliners!
We've just come off the Malta - Greek Islands cruise. It had a lot of positives in that Greece is lovely and the staff worked hard. There was a good show company (headline Act) and 2 very good singers (Pulse). But, I felt the food was the same every night, especially the buffet. Most staff were new and the cruise was also short staffed. Finally, the day arriving and the day leaving were pretty much days lost. So, it was more a 5 day than a 7 day cruise. We're in no rush to do another short flight cruise.

We loved the shows too ☺️ Good wise, I’ve heard the restaurants which you pay for are meant to be really really good but we just did the freedom dining instead paying or going to the buffet - you can read the menu before to know whether you like the food that night. I think it depends on flight times around whether the day is lost… leaving we definitely found that to be the case but on arrival our flight was really early so we had the whole day ☺️ Might be worth trying one from Southampton instead of flying next time, I’ve always really enjoyed that experience!

Our time on Azura last year was in the Aegean (Athens, Santorini etc) But we saw this itinerary you guys were on and like the look of it, so was good to see the places you visited. Love the fashion segments in your vlog too 👗😀
Ah so exciting!! Normal nights you can just decide what you want to do - we did the bar/‘nightclub’ (no booking) or shows (book via P&O app which you’ll get info on when you’re on board) most nights after dinner ☺️. Formal nights there’s usually some form of gathering/celebration in the foyer and potentially a captains champagne toast. For your birthday make sure you mention it when you go for dinner as they’ll sing to you 😁.
Ah amazing, hope you have a great time!! In Croatia their local currency is Kuna ☺️ but we just used our currency cards like Monzo, Starling, Revolut which make paying for things so much easier! Always worth checking first but with most you don’t have to pay fees to exchange and they use better exchange rates than you can get elsewhere. Hope that helps ☺️
