You guys do realize these "negatives" and "suck" parts of this drone will all be patched through firmware releases.... They purposely make device operating systems updated with firmware improving features, functions, and fixing bugs. Things like "not being able to shoot RAW for photos" is probably one of the first things that will be patched during the next couple firmware updates.
Hm, I don't think that RAW photos do have priority for this kind of drone. And you can't patch weaknesses like a little rough landing on battery could harm it easily, minor crashes will break arms etc. The 20 minutes flight time are really a theoretical number to what can be achieved even by intermediate flying. Nevertheless it's an interesting product and I'm very interested how it develops.

Hey Tom, Im hearing that the transmission connection is rather fragile when behind objects even when close, unless you live in the USA as they run at 1,000MHZ . What was your experience?
Does the return to home follow the remote? Or is it a static spot? If I was walking and was in a different location from takeoff, will it return to me, or the takeoff location?
Most likely not. The googles of the DJI FPV seem to base on the DJI Lightbridge system and drones like the Mavic Pro 2 use a different transmission protocol.
This drone is made for the flying experience in FPV firstly and video and pictures quality second and it's a experience comparable to only a bird or fighter jet pilot.
FPV is too fast for your instant maneuver. 1,Too far for your eyes to judge the distance, 2, You are not able to see your drone in most cases, 3, The drone is too fast and you can't adjust it as an outside player. You are the drone.
So in the RC car world, drive time limitations from the batteries also serve as a reminder that it’s time to let the motor cool down. It’s generally not recommended to run multiple batteries one after another. Does this also apply to flying drones? That flying time is kind of low and being able to run several batteries in a row would be the way to go if possible!
Hi there my dear friend. I updated my DJI FPV drone on September 7th and since I can’t make my drone to take off and I’m very disappointed. If there is a way to fix that issue?
I feel like I'm watching a review on a Mercedes or something lol love how you are very detail oriented and straightforward..no room for unworthy compliments. Great review!
Those were honest reviews. This is the Mitsubishi i-MiEV of drones. This is the drone your daughter can fly. It's cute, it's easy to use, it assumes you will never need or want to know what an inverter is. You can technically race with it, but it's not meant for that - in manual mode sensors and most features you paid for are disabled, the frame fragile, the materials sub-par, the performance poor. The realtime video quality and camera are best in class bar none.
I came to the DJI fpv drone from a fpv freestyle background and I have never been in N mode or S mode because my throttle is adjusted for a manual throttle control and no longer self center's. Also when you do try Manual the angle is still limit, I had to change the settings to go full across.
In every review of this FPV drone I have seen, nobody addresses the issue of having the propellers show in the footage. Does this happen in every mode or is there a way to have it not shown. It would be great if you could address this. Thanks for your review!
When you fly at high speed drone is tilted forward and then props shouldn't be visible. If you flying at slower speed cropping in post production is the only way to fix it.
As an entry-level, super beginner FPV pilot-- Absolutely love mine. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent.
