Please do not stop producing videos. You break it down to a simpler way of translating the whole hatching process for each organism. I really like all of your vids like I said. And I’ve been flyfishing for quite some time. Lol. Keep up the great work Tom!
THANK YOU sooo much , Tom and Orvis crew!! The photography, the content, the "cast-master", Pete Kutzer, the diagrams of the life-cycle explained simply and clearly. I have watched this video more than once and I have a strong sense that I will be much more successful on the water this fall.... Thank you so much!!
Really loved the fish rising in the background as you were speaking...Tom your calmness and ease of speaking make it such a joy to watch and listen. Very informative and easy to understand. I am heading into the high Sierras after golden trout in June...an incredible dry fly heaven
Shade and shape of the fly is more important than colour. Slightly off colour is less important than too light or dark. Yes increasing the length of the leader by at least twenty five percent. Ideally use a tapered leader. Matching the hatch during mayfly or stonefly rise, makes for magical memories

Thanks Tom, that was a very informative video. I like that you can call trout jerk’s from time to time. I’ll be watching this video again and again.
Thanks for explaining to keep it simple.
Thank you Tom, you're so easy to listen to &
easy to grasp what you're teaching!!! Tight lines!
Bringing it back to the basics. Awesome and very informational video.

These precious secrets are learned from spending many years on the river. Thanks also for the subtitles.
and I don;t like the subtitles clutter!!!!
So helpful. Thx. Tom
Nice brackdown of anthology & identifying flying insects Tom 👍👍. As I like to use Top-hats, as it covers a wide range of emerging insects 😉
