What a great looking guy...and his work is to die for.
Saw the retrospective at the RWA yesterday, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great to have found this wonderful little film.
He was one of my tutors at the Royal Academy Schools (1994/97).... his words live on and a great artist. An inspiration.

He breaks my heart, I love his thoughts.
one of the few Artists at Cormont road (Basil Beattie was another) who werent totally up themselves but had a down to earth humilty and common sense about them.
What does he paint with? He gets a very powdery matte surface that I really like...
Looks like Lascaux acrylics which I think he might be mixing in the white buckets that he then colour codes with a blob?
Exciting work...sound needs to be higher though. Thanks
