- Complete walkthrough of Metroid: Fusion on Gameboy Advance. All missiles, energy tanks, power bombs, and power suit upgrades/abilities are obtained in this walkthrough. This walkthrough is completed in normal mode which has 48 missile tanks (10 w/ initial upgrade and 5 in each tank for a total of 250), 32 power bomb tanks (10 w/ initial upgrade and 2 in each tank for a total of 74), and 20 energy tanks. Please note that the amounts listed above will change in Hard difficulty mode. This is NOT a speedrun.

I played this as a child back in 2002 and certainly do remember how terrified I have been by the SA-X. So intense.... Still one of my fav games.
I really love the contrast of being essentially naked at the start and completely unstoppable at the end. Every Metroid game has this to an extent, but I feel it's effects are especially pronounced here.
Also the contrast between you and the things you’re fighting, kinda like how the last boss is literally you without the orange suit

I think this game is the only game were it's explained why the heck Samus have lost all her abilities (once again)
@@Super_1987 the Prime games do a good job of that too actually: in Prime 1 an electrical surge going through her suit makes her lose everything, in 2 she has most of her power-ups stolen by the Ing, and in 3... yeah she didn't have most of them at the start of 3, but the dangerous ones can be explained as deactivated for the sensitive areas she was in, and then she full on lost them because of the Phazon corruption

I have always loved this game. What a masterpiece! One of my personal favorites and a surefire TOP-tier Metroid saga. The stalking SA-X that epically was terrifying for a game is just legendary.
I had save and load states and still the bosses felt incredibly hard to fight. You guys who best it on the GBA are insane, I solute to you o7

I remember playing this on game boy advance. I feel like metroid fusion game is more scary then some horror games. The music is so scary and terrifying
Finished the game on my Nintendo Switch and all I gotta say is that this game is a masterpiece, the relation between Adam and Samus, how it unfolded in the conversation after the last two boses. It made me shed tears especially in the end when Samus tells us about the human soul, I’m glad I could play this game. 😊😭
The last few items were some of the hardest and trickiest to get.
"Daft Punk- One More Time" is the only song that pops to mind with Samus Aran looking undefeatable. Thanks for the video.

I only ever beat it once and havent been able to play it since. I recently got an anbernic handheld and this was the first game i played. I prefer super but this game is no slouch. Just happy to play it again.
There is so many place in this game there is no way to know where to go, like breakable wall without any clue. this walkthrough is necessary.

I remember how Hype I was, as a kid, when the computer CO said "He" referring to the SA-X, back in sector 1. How cool would it have been for there to be a guy who was Chozo power and a suit like Samus and battle it out with him?

Nightmare was a complete nightmare. Easily the hardest Metroid boss. Ended up finishing Dread before Fusion because of it.

I'm playing this game now. I'm making it my goal to beat every metroid game.
I don't know why you use missiles so much after getting the Plasma Beam. A fully charged Plasma does way more damage than a single missile. I find it more effective on most of the bosses.
It takes time to use it so to immediately fire them is not possible so they use it
But its so much fun to dump all your missiles since missiles are going to become almost obsolete as an attack as later monsters in the game can only be killed with wave beam and screw attacks

I've begin to play thaïs game for a while and I was stuck so I look this video. Ha ha, I am a bit shocked by the ammount of bonus I miss ! I mean there are a lot of cases for which it's hard to imagine that there could ne something behind a wall. Is there some clues to know which wall to destroy or do I need to fire on each one and put bombs every step ? I will begin a new game anyway.
Is it possible to finish a save file at 100% even tho you already finish the game on this save file?

Just exit the room and enter it again. It resets the room

When you run fast, how do you stay in blinking mode for 10 to 15 seconds longer? When i do it, it only last 5 to 6 seconds everytime. Then when I press jump button it always uses the special power, then goes away fast. This is the only hard part of the game that I can't get it. Is there a button you have to press or keep pressing, because I would like to. Thanks know.
You have to keep ducking before the light goes away
I mean press ⬇️ before light fades away then press A+➡️ to restart the process
It is fucking tricky to pull off though

When you make contact with the wall press the jump button at the same time as the opposite direction on the D pad. I’m sure there’ll be a YT video breaking down the timing and inputs
How in the world did you find all the hidden spots. Was it hours of trying everything in every room. I appreciate the time you spent on making video, but after watching and seeing what a person has to go through to get 100 percent it seems to take fun out of it.

When I got to the boss at 2:04:00 there was no ladder on the ceiling. All I can do is hit him from a perfect angle shot and it takes forever
You have to use the super bomb once you go in.
Drop a power bomb to clear up the blocks

The ladder on the top wasn’t there so I had to beat him with angles missile shots. It’s was something else but I got em!

2:14:15 can be done with just Speed booster. You can just barely make it if you spinjump onto the ladder and to the other side.
I'm on that right now and how does he make it last longer than 5 seconds? As soon as I get it and then press a to jump it uses the speed booster 1 time, then it's gone. It's like i can't press jump button unless I'm using it. Do you know how to make it last 10 seconds?it's like he uses it twice in 1 turn. I'm lucky to get 1 turn.
2:12:55 I wonder if you used cheats if you'd be able to backtrack your way to the Laboratory and enter it. Since the door there is a Level 0 hatch. But the game might soft lock in the Navigation room. Just always thought it'd be cool to explore that place before actually having to go there.
The sorry state of most modern AAA games really makes me reminisce on masterfully crafted games like this.

I remember playing this. but for some reason I never beat it.
It's hard. If you're playing it naturally, it's super easy to not notice a hint at a hidden path. Or...many areas don't even hint. And the bosses get hard. And they will start leaving you with no way to save before I boss, or no good way to heal. It's way harder than Super and Zero Mission. I forget how it is compared to Other M.
Weird. Not recorded. On second try I had gotten the armor boss to somehow glitch. In it moveing back snd forth. Rasy to kill it with the strong missles. Less than 30 seconds.
Damn i missed missile #2 and by the end before fighting the SA-X i cant get back to get it.

There is also an trick: stay infront of him shot a wave beam after you shot instantly turn around and when the wave beam hits the golden chozo thing (I actually don't know his name) it will make damage won't work if the wave beam alr hit the thing so stand a bit far away to get it more consistent

I love this game but I really dislike how it constricts you to certain areas at certain times, instead of just letting you openly explore the world like Super Metroid did.. Poor design choice in my opinion.
