this is dance is beautiful, I'm not familiar with burmese dance but this really shows the breakage of the core/center of the body somewhat close to javanese dance, unlike the thai and the cambodian classical dance which maintain a constant upright, and only a slight bend, which of course are all beautiful in there own way. thanks for posting.

เคยได้ยินว่าระบำโยเดียมีที่มาจากการที่สมัยสงครามพม่ากวาดต้อนเชลยชาวสยาม
มาเป็นจำนวนมากและพม่าได้ยินว่าชาวสยามรำสวยเลยให้มาโชว์การรำให้ดู แต่เหล่า
นางรำชาวสยามไม่พอใจเลยรำส่งๆ เตะดินเตะทรายไม่อ่อนช้อย แต่ชาวพม่ากลับเข้าใจผิด

เรื่องจริงครับ
ไม่น่าจะจริงนะ ศิลปะการรำของพม่านั้นก็มีมานานแล้วเช่นกันโดยเฉพาะที่เตะเท้าออกจะเร็วและท่ารำพิศดารต่างๆ ซึ่งต่างจากการรำของชาวสยามมาก แต่ในสมัยอดีตคนพม่านิยมรำโยเดียอันนี้เป็นความจริง และยังอธิบายอีกว่ารำโยเดียนี้ดีอ่อนช้อยและสวยงาม จนมีการนิยมรำโยเดียอย่างแพร่หลายทั้งในราชสำนักและราษฎรทั่วไป สมัยแรกๆชาวโยเดียก็ถ่ายทอดนาฏศิลอยุธยาจริงๆให้คนพม่านั่นแหละ แต่เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปมากกว่าสองร้อยปีชาวพม่าก็ได้ประยุกต์ท่ารำให้เข้ากับความนิยมของคนพม่า แต่ก็ยังเหลือเค้าความเป็นไทยตรงท่าจีบและการตั้งวง เพลงที่ใช้ประกอบรำโยเดียก็เป็นเพลงโยเดียดั้งเดิมนะครับมีเพลงหลักทั้งหมด 12 เพลง ชื่อแต่ละเพลงเป็นชื่อไทยคนพม่าไม่เข้าใจในความหมายเช่นเพลง ฉุยฉาย เพลงเชิด เพลงเถา แต่การบรรเลงก็ใช้ทำนองพม่าที่นิยมการบรรเลงเร็วและอยู่คนละคีย์กับเพลงไทย คนไทยดูอาจจะไม่เข้าใจว่านี้มันรำโยเดียประกอบเพลงโยเดียตรงไหน แต่ทั้งหมดทั้งมวลนี้เป็นศิลปะที่ถ่ายทอดจากโยเดียจริงๆ แต่มันถูกปรับแต่งตามการเวลามานานก็เท่านั้นเอง
