The reason you had to swap the wires is probably the same reason I had to, the E/W actuator is supposed to be mounted on the west side with the mounting beam mounted on the east side, I did the exact same thing on my first one, I’m guessing the one you had to change the wiring on is the middle one? That also affects the angle that they tilt to, the newer models have the beams labeled so you get it right now.

Here is one with sound. Just remember there are 3-4 mounts moving at different times

*Due to the extreme drop in the price of solar modules, tracking systems are now superfluous.*
Where mechanics and electronics are outside, there is a lot of maintenance and failures! And they are very susceptible to wind. Due to mechanics & weather, most only last 1-10 years.
*It is cheaper and much more reliable to simply install more solar modules. They easily last 25-30 years without maintenance!*
If you want more consistent yields throughout the day, you simply need to place the modules in an S-E and S-W orientation.

Understood. I'd probably do that if I had it to do over. However, I don't have a lot of storage so it's good to get the morning and evening boosts.

Davis , I have larger panels , do you think it hold them. I have 16 panels. They are 390 watt panels. They measure 48 inches by 65 inches?

My panels are about 20 lbs each and are 53" x27". When the wind gets going above 20mph I get puckered up because they bounce around a bit more than I'd like. Some of that is just because the motor linkages have a lot of play. But some is the rails bending. I wouldn't put anything more on it than 120lbs. It is also critical to mount them in a balanced fashion. Linear actuators are about at capacity even when balanced.
Not sure what other options there are but if try to find something a bit heavier duty. Alternatively, might look at a single axis tracker. Not the same as full tracking, but sturdier.

I have reached out to eco worthy and no reply yet. Thanks
