I so love this technique, Nicole! Love seeing everyone's different paper choices with the different cardstock backgrounds! I wish I'd been able to get this lovely paper collection, I joined after it had been gone awhile. BUT! I got some of the embellies that went with it on Last Chance! ;) they are SO darned pretty. Loved the Memoirs and Memory papers you used as well- that version of the page is SO eye-catching!. Thanks for sharing, I have saved your version with my CM page ideas playlist. It was great to see how you worked with the striped/lined paper side! TYFS ~Ali
I’m going to do this technique for my Christmas page. Unique and beautiful.

WOW! Great teaching technique...you make it so easy to make me think...I can do that!!!
I’ve made several of these pages and love them.💙
I love the bold yellow and thank you for explaining the horizontal lines.
Love this idea
I am currently working on CM original pages which were 11 1/2 x 12 - how could I make this work?
Hmm. That's a little tricky. Maybe you could start with a square that is 11.5" and leave a half inch gap at the top and bottom??
@@NicolesScrapbooks yes I thought that is about the only solution
Love this design it looks so much like a quilt. I have a question about the water paper you used. Was the base page the solid green or teal color?
The base paper is a solid called Dark Sea Green. It's one of the coordinating cardstock colors CM recommends for the Vitamin Sea paper pack.
this is neat
