thank you for that video. 99.9% of youtubers would do it again, after making mistakes and not uploading their first try. i really appreciate that, because you showed mistakes a beginner makes.
Just a note, to guage a trigger you're supposed to pull straight back for consistent and accurate results. The trigger is a big improvement. It smoothed out the pull versus the factory trigger for me. There is not as defined of a wall and the pull is lighter and smoother. However, it does break easier so be mindful if you're used to bringing to the wall. Also the trigger shoe is flat across and not curved so it feels wider and the trigger safety is wider also. Other than smoothing out the pull it's alright for a "competition"/hybrid use glock. But for a self defense/cc i would just look to polish the factory trigger components.
To follow up, I take back the cc trigger comment. Now after installing them on a couple glocks, once you get used to the pull, it's fine. But I dry fire several days a week and work on not breaking a shot and being at the wall. Nice thing about the performance trigger is also that it springs back making dryfire better/possible. Wish I hadn't bought a dryfire mag.
This is exactly how I would do this myself. I usually still end up making some mistakes while watching videos, haha. This ended up being the quickest and easiest trigger install I've ever done. Just wish the trigger looked cooler as it looks very similar to the regular gen 5.
It’s super simple … this video is in real time with no edits so it shouldn’t take you much longer than this video, also this was my first time taking a gen 5 apart 😂. Thanks for watching ! 💪
can you either buy or use an old Glock frame and test to see how much residue is left over from the grip tape? that would be great to know and also a good video idea.
Yes I have had the talon grip on there for over a year before having to switch it out … leaves no residue at all … I’ll post a video next time I have to switch one out . Thanks for watching 💪💪
Constructive criticism; maybe next time do a practice run before the video. It was informative, but youre lack of practice on the gen 5 glock made the video hard to take seriously. I mean the locking block in backwards did give me a laugh, although probably not intended.
Just bought my first Glock. A Glock 47. I didn’t appreciate my Springfield triggers but now I do. The Glock factory trigger is horrible with about 3-4 walls before it breaks. The blade also never goes flush with the trigger can’t wait for that to start rubbing my finger when it shoots. Does the upgrade fix these issues?
Omg what are you doing? You know where you should put these parts ? It looks like you are doing it for the first time. Then you are measuring pictures pull weight when you're firearm is on the desk, once you have 4.1kg then 2.1, that's very funny.
You fucking up the locking block is driving me crazy sheesh,a simple ass gun you made look difficult af.

@@harri4208 appreciate that brother💪
general rule in re-installation ... "first out, last in" 😮😅
😂

Yeah… I like to do it real time so that people can get a better feel for what it would be like … thanks for watching brother 💪
Man, great video. Love the real world, no editing video. Clear as day, really helpful and relatable. Much appreciated my good man. 👍
Thanks so much for watching 👍💪💪
Just installed mine in my g45. Such a big difference. Mine is in the 3lb range. I lubed it before I put it in.
Niiiice!

Thanks man. This vid made the install very easy
Glad to help! Thanks for watching 💪
Glock store, you over paid
Brother this one hurt a lil to watch but at least you didn’t break it. You’ll never forget the steps in the future after this 👍🏼
Thanks. I have one on the way from the Glock Store. Hopefully after watching you do the installation I will be able to. Thanks again

maybe like a month or two before you remove the grip tape.

Yes ..bro literally messed me up multiple times
Appreciate the video but your measurements aren't accurate due to how you did each.
Thanks for the video. Helped me a lot
What’s your hurry, dude?
The stock is 5 1/2 to 6 for gen5
Maybe fresh out the box… but after a couple thousand rounds it smooths out and gets lighter
I thought that trigger was never coming out of the package
Man, I wish I could upgrade my Glock trigger 😔
Great video bro 🤙🏼🇺🇸
It’s the American dream 😂🇺🇸🇺🇸
The wall is nice but mine is a little gritty. I lubed it but its still there
Same. Didn't expect that. It's odd
great video thanks bro
Thanks for watching brother 💪
great video! i was thinking of trying the G-Flex Reflex Trigger on my Glock 17 gen 5.
Have you had any failures with the performance trigger? Is there noticeable difference between the feel of the triggers
@@garoristic very noticeable difference in the trigger…. No malfunctions at all

Do you know if you can change out the trigger shoe? cuz that one looks like a pregnant horse
😂😂😂 it’s a Glock , you can change anything you could ever dream of on it
💯💯💯
