Earlier, what I read from books in the syllabus , is that people are not willing to talk to strangers, are busy in their own, only our past was great, tribals still live primitive life, there is a huge gap between the north and south.

Hey Sarathak! So, I'm chilling in NITk, right by the coast, practically neighbors with the sea. Lately, we've had a bit of a health issues in our hostels. Many of us, including me. At first, we thought it was the food or water, but then the Institute informed: "Rising health issues are due to Climate change and rising temperatures, take care of yours!" We've talked about climate change before, but experiencing its smackdown firsthand really puts things into perspective. It's like, "Whoa, this is serious stuff!" It's got me thinking, climate change is no joke. It's worse than any big national or international problem. One of these days, everyone's gonna wake up and smell the carbon dioxide. Call me dramatic, but when you're knee-deep in the situation, you can't help but feel it, you know!? Soon you'll!

That was the exact problem I had with the CAA, NRC bill. Frankly speaking we already have tons issues with ourselves regarding unemployment, inflation, hunger issues, poverty etc. On top that if we welcome so many immigrants at once can create even more problems
I think the citizens of Assam had a very genuine argument against CAA as giving the immigrants citizenship can create more struggle for resources there, I think government can divert the nationalized citizens to other states like the central or northern or southern states where there are plenty resources but again, it's gonna create the same problems there.

Lekin bhai CAA m to khi ye nhi kha gya ki naye immigrants ko layenge...usme date mentioned h ki 31 dec 2014 se phle (5 years because bill to 2019 m hi pass ho gya tha ) jo aa chuke h or uske liye 19 documents mentioned h unme se 2 documents chahiye proof ke liye ...first for origin of country and 2nd for clarification that you have completed 5 years in India ...

Remember even taking 2014 into account , India has a 50+ years of history, there would have been tons of immigrants that came to India over the years. And almost all of them resides in states like Assam( which already has a very small amount of respurce for their locals) Making them all a citizen at once is gonna be akin to accepting all those immigrants once.
I am not against the idea, I am just saying maybe....MAYBE .... let's slow down on the process over the years.
Maybe like people before 1980 for the first 3 years, then people between 1980-2000 for the next 3 and so on.

Further, we as Assamese people do not have any alternative to vote for apart from BJP. Very sad as our local political parties are corrupt and now BJP is turning the tides against the local people.
