Thanks so much for this video! This is the first one I’ve seen (and I’ve been watching a lot of Etsy instructional videos) that talks about exactly what happens on Printify’s end once a sale is made on Etsy. Very helpful! I do have two questions: The two follow up emails to customers once an order is placed or received, do we send them out manually? Or is there a place we can set this up automatically? Another questions is about personalized orders. I saw one TH-camr mentioning that for those, it’s better to delete the Printify sku numbers so you will have a chance to customize them before sending them for production. Do you have a video that explains more in depth about that process? Thanks so much!😊
Good questions. I have watched a lot of videos and Cassiy was the first one to make me realize that the personalized items will print with the mock up display's text if I put them in production the same way as non personalized orders. Omg my first few sales would have been terrible reviews and crushed my shop if I didn't realize this

The biggest thing I have tried it for so far though is using Chat GPT to come up with the top of the descriptions for me and it has been great! I ask it a prompt like "Create me a three sentence description for a book lover shirt that says "feeling bookish" and make it funny"
I put that exact prompt into Chat GPT right now and here is what I got back:
This shirt is perfect for those days when you're in the mood for a little literature and a lot of lounging. With the words "Feeling Bookish" printed on the front, you can let everyone know that you're not just a casual reader, you're a certified book nerd. And if anyone questions your commitment, just point to your shirt and say, "I'm not lazy, I'm just plot-driven!"
You can always ask it to include extra keywords in it as well if you want to get a few ,more in there!
NoOoO c’mon guys can we keep a FEW tricks of the trade on the down-low?. What happens when we all have perfect etsy listings with the PERFECT everything? - even the ones who just happened to hear about the little big etsy boom of people saying they made “make so and so figures“ and “here's how“ and now we have an bunch of hooligan kids (and adults) as our biggest and sneakiest competitors (pricing ridiculously LOW on one item in the same listing, for example) just to get ranked higher, get more views, more sales, everything...just because they CAN... And becayse they watched a few step by step proccess youtube videos.
Those who struggled and put in YEARS. YEARS! of HARD and REAL work simply had to use trial and error to be where they're at today and know what they know (myself included) because they've more than earned it. I swear - mentioning AI will just tear the real creators, techies, and the real OG’s out there up. WE DONT WANT PEOPLE TO USE AI - ITS A SECRET.

I opened my store a little over 2 weeks ago and just got my first sale today! So excited. My views and visits went from the single digits yesterday to over 100 this morning when I woke up.
Congrats on putting in the work so quickly and that you already got to see some results!! It won't be a super easy road ahead as it takes awhile to learn how to create a consistent income with this a build up the products in your store, but just keep up the good work and you'll get there

Im just starting out with pod, It was tough wen i was on payment reserve bc i had to pay out of pockets for my orders..im finally off paynent reserve as of yesterday, and now its much easier with the money situation. I was paying 200-300 daily for my orders before payment reserve.

Etsy Listings using Printify
1. How do I create one listing selling eg. a Sweater with one logo but you can choose between 2 different logo colors and multiple sweater colors? Do I need 2 separate listings?
2. If I am a Canadian store, what is the best way to set up a listing so the production company is based in the country of the purchaser, Canadian & USA?
3. For designing in Printify, how do I know where to place the design? One line, two lines, maybe just one big image etc? Especially for sweaters/t-shirts? Sometimes the mockup view doesn’t match what is on the model wearing it
4. Where do I find size charts for each design? So I can add this as an image card to each listing.

Hello, I am very thankful for all your videos, they've been so inspiring! I was actually curious about how printify works if I wanted to make a product pod because it would be easier, but at the same time I'd would also like to sell my handmade products on etsy. Do you have any suggestions if this would be possible to manage, I was mainly concerned about the delivery, for example if a costumer wanted a pod good but also one of the items I make, it would be impossible to make an order with both items because printify takes care of their deliveries right? So it would have to be splitted😢

I just got my first sale last week and have about 60 listings and adding more. I was thinking if I have the funds I want to throw into this business if I should really just undercut everyone and sell at a lost per order for around $5 for the next about 10 orders. Then raise the prices to break even for the next 20 orders. Then profit from there. What do you think of this strategy to keep the ball rolling?

Hey cass what about personalizations? When someone submits their purchase, do you have to go in asap to make that personalization before times up and that order is automatically sent??

Hi Cassiy, I'm curious if you requested to enable custom sku's with Printify. I thought that I was supposed to change them and I have customized them on the Etsy side but just read an article that I must do that on Printify's side first *yikes* so now my 10 listings (which have taken me awhile to do) all have sku's that printify doesn't have! Do you have any advice for this?

Thanks for the helpful follow up guide. I was able to use them on my first sale. I’m curious if these can be set to send automatically? Shops with hundreds of orders per day, do they really have to send these follow up messages manually one by one? Also, if my shops offers a 2 hour cancellation window, does Etsy automatically wait for 2 hours before passing the order to Printify for production? This is not made clear in the policy setting section on Etsy where they let you choose how much time your customers have if they want to cancel an order. Thanks so much!

I got a couple of Etsy support messages saying that 2 people have purchased one of my items. However there are no orders in my orders area and the orders don’t look complete. So what do I do?
It sounds like that could potentially be messages from scammers! There have been lots of scammers recently on the platform targeting new sellers. So Etsy recently made a "from etsy" section in your messages. If the messages show up in your normal inbox on Etsy, then it's not actually from them and you want to mark it as spam!
