If you mean the big block in the beginning, it's a bezel forming block, in the shape of a emerald cut😊

Hi, thank you so much! 🤗✨️ the tool is called bezel block. You can have them in all different shapes, even a heart shape! 🥺👏 For example Pepetools sells them! : pepetools.com/search?q=bezel+forming
did you file down the face of the prongs to lay flat over the stone or are they just kept rounded?
Hi! 😊 in this one I didn't file them flat, BUT this one was actually a bit difficult to set. I think I will try next time file them a little, so they would maybe fit a bit better?
I know there are many ways to set and prepare prongs, so I guess the best way is to just try all the different variations so you will find the best way! 😌😌😌
