Looking for a way to insert audio to ‘cloudbusting’, version with that capability out of production. Or… voltage/impedance for ‘master’ post. Have you ever seen a discussion group for errorinstruments?
I’d like to pickup a first errorinstrument - I do soundscape and also rhythmic groove music. Influences from Sun Ra to Eno to Holden. I’d like to get a first errorinstrument .. if u can recommend a starting point in their catalog I’d be ultra obliged.
I think I'd pick an Orgone Drum Cloudbusting 2 module because you can patch it with clips and wires and it has a built in low pass gate. I feel it's super versatile for both crazy soundscapes, drones and rhythmic patterns (with a gate sequencer). Just don't expect melodies :).
Which Error Inst module would you recommend as a starter? (I'm building a drum rack and make cinematic industrial music) Also, do you have each of the Error modules going through a filter? I find their sound oftentimes to be quite harsh and wondering how you tame the upper frequencies.
Hi, Error modules are extremely experimental and can easily go harsh. If I had to pick my first module it would be the Cloud Busting Orgone Drum edition with built in 'LPG' because it offers a lot of different sound that cover a wide range of music styles. Another module to consider is the Imaginary Friend Eurorack. Error modules work very well with a low pass filter (e.g. ladder), a little mixer that can pan the mono sound and a stereo effects module (e.g. FX AID). Please note that Error modules can be hard to control. Don't expect a regular synth :).
Weet jij toevallig iemand die mijn Cloudbusting Orgone Drum (oftewel met trigger) kan overnemern? Ik gebruik hem eigenlijk nooit. Paul T heeft mijn adres.
These vids are great because you can watch them OR listen to them.
Fn love this. Might have to pick one up for myself
Very nice 🙏

Paul has some interesting modules to be sure. You have shown them nicely!
This is awsome

Watching again (like my 4th time). These modules have had a huge impact on how I'm working now. So freeing. Thanks again, man.
Beautiful! I love those out of this world sounds, and the choices you made to bring them out.
