When I was younger I was a very successful k-9 trapper here in the northeast US and was a scent free freak like I had been taught to be and like every other K-9 trapper I knew was. When I first started watching your stuff a few yrs ago I was amazed that you didn’t use gloves. Now I wonder how it would work over here. Your way definitely works for you and I agree, no need to change anything. You’re very good at getting them dogs.
Thanks for your comment mate. Not trying to prove anyone right or wrong, just searching for the missing pieces of the trapping puzzle. Learning every single trapline
I was working on a power dam project north Manitoba and the prefab forms (Doka form system) for the turbine area were from Denmark and they were using these torque screws ranging from 10cm to 40cm long
G'day Clark Landline recently had a segment about some graziers in Mitchell area, they were accepting of the presence of dogs, as they controlled the cats and foxes, which in turn was allowing native animals to thrive again. Interesting to find people thinking outside the box
Morning Clark🤠 This is one of my favorite properties to watch you and the dogs work on... such a beautiful landscape!!! Looks like we're in for good ride along this trap line.... ... can't wait to see what shows up !! Safe travels friend ❤❤ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇲🇦🇮WWG1WGA🇺🇲🇦🇮NCSWIC🇺🇲🇦🇮
I was looking for some new lighter boots the other month for my prospecting, I've always used the oliver metal free but came across the keen boots at a store, they're heaps lighter and metal free to not set the detector off and waterproof like yours said lol. So far they're holding up pretty good, not quite as comfortable as the Oliver's but definitely heaps lighter which saves the fatigue on the legs from walking all day.
Thanks for another great day Clark. What calibre and what deer were there that day. I hope Mr Read gets some good stags and some tasty ribs for your camp oven. Regards Mark from Redlands.
Love your vids clark just out of interest do you contract to do the animal control or are you permanently employed to do so .keep up the good work especially with cats
Great foot wear y'all. You'd be set for Mardigras in those over here in New Orleans but wait no need to travel so far y'all Aussies have your own in Sydney right? Ha ha. But seriously wild dogs are a problem here two, breeding with the coyotes and wolves, making really smart hybrids.

Last week I made a comment on your deer video, using a common word for dispatching animals, beginning with k. TH-cam AI considered it ha te spea ch and banned me for a week. Be careful commenters.

Keen are a great brand, Clark. I wish I could wear them, but it's out of the question for me. Wear what you are most comfortable wearing.

Looks like you're going to be busy with that crew
I remember dog hunting ona sheep farm and our cattle farm
That old dog is worth his weight in gold !
BC / British Columbia means Bring cash. It aint cheap there. Technology is great. The landscape screws are the best.
Thanks for another great day Clark. What calibre and what deer were there that day. I hope Mr Read gets some good stags and some tasty ribs for your camp oven. Regards Mark from Redlands.
Thanks Clarke
But gloves would have scent on it so you would still have to dirt your hands .
Thanks
I am guessing that the light ranger will be better in the wet areas?
What sort of dog is whalin ? Cross kelpie border collie ?
Just a recessive gene in the BC line, a big thug 🤣. No Kelpie at all, zero, just a tiny dash of Aussie Koolie
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry awesome dog, love your work mate
Surely it doesn't get any more Aussie than letting the dogs drink from your Akubra
Nice as love ya work hope ya get the turds.
Clark do they use the remote pig traps like you see on you tube in the states to catch pigs
Love your vids clark just out of interest do you contract to do the animal control or are you permanently employed to do so .keep up the good work especially with cats
How large is the property?
What calibre rifle are you using there ? Beautiful country where you are.
Hey Clark does that boorum bush have any other names ?
Is your mates nickname “Rowdy” 😊
Great content mate yeeha
Wallen is a stud. Pigs don’t have a chance.
What do you think of the new law that protects wild dogs on private property in VIC???
Forget what people are saying, the proof is in the pudding.

Why the preference to Border Collies over Kelpies or Blues
Dont know why ppl keep going on about gloves. They have a scent too and it seems to linger even if you rub them in the dirt too.
Go get them.

Yeah I heard they make them for men now too😂
I wear them too you dont need real boots here theres no real steep country but wouldnt use them in the Ureweras of New Zealand lol Enjoy urself Clarke lol
Here for the catching. Not the frivolity, verbosity or bush trips. Disappointing.
