People basing this video, please take into consideration the sheer DIFFICULTY of fully animating fluidly, finding all suitable models, finding appropriate effects, and later editing to look like the real thing is in such a limited program like Miku Miku Dance. This work should be applauded equally as much as the original, because it takes just as much time and skill to make something like this. It's easy to understand why non-MMD users would under appreciate this, but I mean, c'mon! It's AMAZING
lmao all these "better in B&W" comments the reason why it was in B&W was so that the transitions would be clever. furthermore, this doesn't use identical models, so a lot of things look off. this is just an example of an artist using a style well in order to create something truly unique and unreplicatable.
That and MMD is buggy as all hell when it comes to models like, Rwby, or an actual vocaloid. Physics tend to go out of whack. If they tried to 100% recreate this from memory, while its somewhat good it still could be better. But again, MMD physics suck balls. _moreso than a slaneeshi cultist_

@@theflightguy8726 there were a lot of computers with their own architecture back in the day. The pc-98 was one of them and it was from japan. It was the original home of the touhou franchise before it rebooted and switched to windows.
As someone who knows nothing about Touhou, I can confidently say that the actual characters look nothing like how I expected. Except for a certain Goblin...
Not even going to lie, I am extremely impressed with the skill and talent put into this, If anything else the dedication! It may not be as smooth as the shadow-art, but it still shows how much someone cared to do a 3d full colored version of the video :) I thank this person that did the 3d art for it.

This animation is great. The transitions are just as good as the original. It was nice to see the 3d version but the original made the transitions on some parts easier on the eyes. But no hate on this though.

My bad, that actually is Tenshi. I didn't notice the rainbow streak on her dress in the original video. It was a close month date though, I simply expected if SWR was released, they probably would've featured Nagae Iku as well. The rivalry of Tenshi and Yukari works just as well, though.

This animation is great. The transitions are just as good as the original. It was nice to see the 3d version but the original made the transitions on some parts easier on the eyes. But no hate on this though.

My bad, that actually is Tenshi. I didn't notice the rainbow streak on her dress in the original video. It was a close month date though, I simply expected if SWR was released, they probably would've featured Nagae Iku as well. The rivalry of Tenshi and Yukari works just as well, though.

When I first watched the shadow version, I only recognized Sakuya and Flandre, maybe because they both have really recognizable items or parts, Flandre has her wings, Sakuya throws daggers, I didnt recognize the others on the shadow version but this one made everything clearer, literally, I could see everyone 😂

The fact that you can the characters makes the transitions even funnier than they were before. Seing a shadow of an apple becoming a person was funny, it will be even more when the colour red just more into pink. I love this video
