Actually, Keena herself did admit her signature for a reduce in copyright royalties were forged. This is what she said in her first Dispatch interview: Keena: I learned through an article that my copyright distribution was reduced from 6.5% to 0.5%. The signature on the copyright distribution change form was forged. That was not my signature. She also said they were manipulated by The Givers by creating anxiety for them. Here she gives an example of this: Keena: Ahn Sung Il showed us the conversations he had with Jeon Hong Jun. He complained that he had a lot of difficulties with some parts. How he did all the work by himself. Dispatch: Complained? Keena: He made complaints like “the “Cupid” music video was produced with my money first,” and “ATTRAKT didn’t have any money so we were behind on paying the salon.” We thought that the company was really difficult because of that… Dispatch: In other words, he was creating anxiety? Keena: He kept building it up like that. He also kept saying how we should get onto Billboard charts. Of course, Keena later found out that what Ahn Sung Ill said was a lie.
A lot of the contract details sound very similar to bbc's contracts for loona, and i genuinely think the main reason loona was able to get out of their contracts and redebut positively, is because of the fact they had been a group for longer and bbc's contract terms had been sloppier legally speaking compared to attrakt's. It's insane to me that this is the first time i am hearing about that settlement ratio and how working under them longer would only put them in more debt. Atp, i can only hope that the new fifty-fifty girls are atleast treated better internally and that ablume is able to establish enough of a fanbase to sustain themselves
The Reddit bandwagoners and bots are not gonna like this one, and I respect you guys HEAVILY how you’re not standing down!!! For years now this channel has been a trusted source of advocacy and information for mistreated groups and idols! Speak on it girls!!!!
Hi, Knetizen here. First off, just want to say we're not all bad. I would never say anything negative about an idol ever. There are a lot of us who make nice comments only. I don't understand why people say such harsh things about idols. Next, this is not me excusing people that say mean things, but the media play here in Korea is very very bad. That's why I searched for explanatory videos like this one. Because most of the media here has been so suspiciously and confusingly company biased. So I appreciate the effort and hard work put in to make this video. This helps a lot since most twitter threads are cluttered hellscapes of back and forth bickering, therefore i could never find any real information on this subject, only opinions. So to anyone reading this, please don't assume all us knetz are closed minded and only believe what we're fed. Some of us are just like you, seeking the truth and commenting nice things.
That’s actually crazy that the original members were painted out to be greedy when they were just questioning the debt that seemingly doesn’t belong to them. A lot of people tried to paint it in a way that made it seem like they wanted more than their fair share of the Cupid money. Wow.
It’s been a really disheartening year to follow kpop. Starting with FiFi and continuing now with NewJeans, we’re seeing time and time again gleeful mobs of netizens (who are egged on by companies willing to spread misinformation and use bots) uniting to defame and punish idols for shady business politics/mistreatment that is #1 out of their control and #2 that they are the direct victims of. It’s making been making me sick to witness.
thank you thank you thank you for this video. I've been a fifty fifty fan since shortly after higher and seeing how willing so many people are to discredit and blatantly lie about saena sio and aran because they dared to speak up about their abuse is disheartening. It means a lot that you were willing to speak up despite the shitstorm that was bound to follow.
That repackage album is almost hilariously bad. It’s such a blatant attempt at a cash grab and trying to increase what money the members would owe (in my opinion). I can understand why a scummy company would include a lot of blank/bad design pages, and even the old photos, but why was it all orange? And not even like a cute shade of orange. Did they run out of black ink? Or did someone truly think orange and white photos were a good idea? And maybe it’s just my phone or the orange but the print quality doesn’t even look that good.
I was wondering if you could maybe talk abt the "new leaked audio" of apparently the members parents and Warner music conspiring to lie about what fifty fifty went through?? Apparently it's new and I tried to listen to it with subtitles but I feel like.. I didn't really see where they said "let's lie about what the girls went thru" like lmao at all
In the recordings they blatantly say that they need to find reasons, no matter how minor to get out of their contracts purely for business reasons as the courts have a tendency to side with artists even if the company is only 1% in the wrong. If the latter part is actually true then they couldn't even prove Attrakt was 1% in the wrong so...
This was an incredibly informative video, very thorough. Thank you so much for making it. I became a fan of fifi when cupid went viral, and I was even more into their earlier songs, which sounded very refreshing for the current kpop era. I was so shocked to see they had a controversy and when I learned more about it, the more it seemed to me that the media was extremely biased toward them. I didn't stay on top of it, though, and I ignored a lot of details you've provided here. What surprises me is that everything people throw against them tends to be stuff you address here and clarify. It's truly a very well video. As for people who say it's biased... I mean, idk, I feel the way this case has been covered by Korean media has been extremely biased, to the point than maybe showing any sympathy or willingness to properly engage with what the members stage and demand may seem as biased in their favour.
It’s 100% clear to anyone who understand Korean that Warner and the 3 former members’ parents were conspiring to get out do their contracts in any way possible. The lawsuits will not go well for them. Wait and see if you don’t want to believe it.
lol so you’re saying the parents were stupid enough to record their crime ? Or are you saying a multi-billion dollar company would take a risk of committing fraud for a drop in the bucket amount of money? Lol bro I hope you 13 or sumthing
I just hope Massive C&E and Attrakt and the 8 girls are doing well Idk if the CEO of Attrakt is trying to repay the other company, but i hope all the 8 would reunite
why are random netizens going to bat for a whole ass corporation? these corporations see all of their employees as disposable with profit being their number one goal. of course they would exploit their own employees. no wonder the working conditions are so bad in korea. they worship corporations there and probably don’t fight for better conditions on average
the video was posted an hour ago and bots are saying it’s misinformation without watching it (it’s over two hours of content). video directly says “go do your research and form your own opinions” but these ceo bots wouldn’t know since they didn’t even watch the introduction they just came here to harass people who are trying to provide nuanced context. they may be too dense to notice this but average people with critical thinking are smarter than that :)
watching this as a law student was very interesting and informative overall. many procedural rights were awfully violated… i hope 3jeong find peace and justice in this new path
LMAO! The way this video was uploaded 3 hours ago and people already are complaining about it being "misinformation from FightForFiFi and Ahn Sung-il bots". Y'all clearly didn't watch the video.
Anorexia (the mental illness that causes more deaths), seizures (can cause brain damage), and precancerous cysts... I don't think the girls would be alive if they stayed on that company any longer. I wonder what the company would've done if they lost one of them. This makes me think bad of South Korea if they think being pretty is more important than a person's life, human rights or dignity (but I think every country has good and bad aspects to them)
I just read that the video contains only until Sept 9, but upon the following week there are videos and article posted by Dispatch... I think it needs an updated video... Since there are the convos then attrakt also released a statement.
This is a well informed and well organized video. I began to doubt the integrity of Korea’s justice system when they ignored two requests from the members to examine new evidence.
Great video! I specially appreciate the comments about addressing the situation with compassion as this involves real people with emotions and their mental health wellbeing. I admire the girls for not giving up their dream and I hope they are able to pursue it safely. Hope the algorithm will help promote this video so more people will be informed of injustice in the kpop industry that has been so normalized.
wow thank you so much for subtitles on the whole video! i often watch videos like these while washing up so i can’t hear too well bc of the water so the subtitles were great!
So then, if i understand the argument correctly, financial crime by attrakt and abuse by both the givers and attrakt were the targets of fifi's lawsuit. It was filed against attrakt because that is the party responsible for both. The poaching accusations may hold water, but had little to do with the members wishes and instead represented siahn's keen eye to exploit the situation? Then jhj exploited this to play the media into reporting that all the complaints were in an attempt to release the girls from their contracts in order to be poached?
Thank you again for another well made documentary. I’m just starting it but I know it will be easy to follow by the organization of information. All of your efforts to make all the facts known is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for making this video. The explanation is very clear and coherent, making it easier for me to understand. I hope people who don't understand this case can think critically before stating their opinions. Remember that we shouldn't worship k-pop companies, they're bunches of greedy capitalists who only think about themselves but not care about their workers wellbeing. And that's what attr**t did when fifi was forced to sign with an american label. Attr**t lied to the american label that they had recorded English versions of all the korean songs when in fact they had not (except cupid twin ver), as well as other exaggerations that made the members uncomfortable and objectionable. While at that time they were enduring pain and were treated badly by both staff from attr**t and the giv**s. they only see idols as products and money-making machines. Just because you make money through kpop doesn't give you the right to disrespect or ignore their feelings
i was there when everything was happening, and while i always believed fifi and everything and have been defending them all along, this video really puts it on perspective and it really explains everything so well and its easy to understand, and i think it represents my thoughts very well
Incredible and detailed video. Watched from beginning to end. I already was not going to support the new lineup's comeback and this just solidified my convictions. Thank you
Thank you for making such a detailed and in-depth video about the whole situation. I witnessed all of this happen in real time, and as an Orbit who had just seen something similar happen with LOONA, I was horrified at how quickly public opinion turned on FiFi. I will never understand people who side with a company/corporation over actual human beings. Companies are not people, but actual people were harmed here.
Thanks for the video. I thought it was just The Givers who was in the wrong. Now I see that both ATTRAKT and The Givers were engaging in fraudulent money scheming and the poor girls were stuck in the middle and only asked for clarity about where the money they were making was going. Shame on ATTRAKT for all the media play they used to ruin these girls.
searchingforelris i missed u sm!! i can’t believe you’re back and especially with a 2 hour video ahhh 💗💗 watching this will be a delight, considering i’ve known fifi since their debut. i truly hope sio, aran and saena get their justice.
01:15:20 The only addition (correction?) I can think of, was that the horrid orange album photobook from the video a hunnie took, was not the only monochrome colourway available (at least, not according to images fans took in stores / promotional images / item listings). Aside from the orange colour, the photo books appeared to be the same.
Im of the opinion that even though a lot of these practices done by both companies are normal, it doesn’t make it okay. Its crazy to me how people think celebrities somehow forfeit their human rights when entering their career. Princess Diana died because of the paparazzi, celebrities in the U.S become shut ins because people are in their business all the time. Unless theres criminal and/or immoral activity being done by these people, I don’t think the public needs to or should know anything about these people unless the celebrity chooses to share that information of their own volition.
I remember seeing alot of kpop drama channels mentioning about the original fifty fifty members and the drama. I didnt believe them because its obvious they are just posting for views and clicks and seeing alot of comments believing those channels shows who they are and what they believed in. As much as I want my girl Chanelle to debut but I cant support her nor the other girls in the new lineup because I felt that the media is twisting the truth and I believe that the truth will came out soon
I hate how it's allowed in Korea that you don't have to pay idols anything until their "debt" is repaid. First of all, why are companies not responsible for these expenses too? Why are only the trainees responsible for the expenses? It should be a partnership from the start! It's so unfair to me that companies get to place all the expenses onto the debt of the idols. Even when albums are released, they add to the debt of idols?? WTH, this should not be allowed at all. I never understood how it could be legal to place all expenses onto employees.
i’ve been following this situation since the beginning and i always believed and stand by the girls side (and will keep doing) because at the end all they wanted was things to be more clear but there was such a mess behind them, from those in charge, and then the girls turned into a sort of punch bag and shield used for those in charge to not get blamed and push the full fault on the girls…also the girls put their life at risk to keep going as a group and people called them all kind of sort of names, that was and still is really ridiculous…and the way everything is presented in this video gives a clear explanation and if people still deny everything they’re just stupid…also because what do you get from supporting such a company?? actually i will never understand kpop stans supporting companies when they dont know how to do their job, they dint know how to promote their artists, they put them on long hiatus and not let them showcase their talents or they overwork them to the point their health is at risk…after the loona situation and other groups like got7 and omegax( if im not wrong) standing up against mistreatment and their companies’ wrongdoing i thought thus industry would proceed in a different way and more idols would feel free to speak up, but unfortunately with how the fifi situation has been going everything just went behind again… but anyway i will always wish the best to the fifi girls and i hope 3jeong redebut will go well!
very interested about the direction you'll take in this video. especially lately i've been seeing a lot of news articles making me think that ATTRAKT may not have been as in the wrong as i thought. so it's nice that you put in the effort to compile almost three hours worth of info! i just want the best for everyone that's suffered unfairly
Thank you so much for your amazing work! Anybody supporting the cheap, soulless cash grab re-debut is an abuse apologist and never cared for the original line-up what so ever. Free Keena, support 3Jeong!
Sadly the video contains much of your own opinion. I feel like a more objectiv approch would have been better. Also some informations are missing maybe a follow up could clear that up. And for legal matters when u are from germany you need to have an "Impressum". Greeting keep up.
Thank you for this video, just would like to suggest something, just be aware of trolls who clearly don't watch the video but still say shit stuff like they have watched the full video. also those people are most likely not aware that editing needs such a long time
thank you so much for this incredibly informative video! I was always on the former members' side, but this video managed to explain certain things I did not understand.
3Jeongs and Keena deserve so much love and support. They were abused and taken advantage of by horrible companies while just being innocent girls that wanted to follow their dream. I will never support the new lineup or that company in any way. Support 3Jeongs in their upcoming debut!
Hi! Big fan of the channel. As someone who has been neutral (never was a hard core fan, but casual since debut) but following the lawsuits and reports, while I appreciate all the hard work you did on the video, after reading the your full script I believe this was created heavily biased and not actually looking at all angles. I know it looks like from your socials that you are on FFF’s side, I’m not going to bash you over that, however if you’re going to claim to try and have a comprehensive nuanced deep-dive, you can’t have all your information from one source. There is no true research into what has made the girl’s side questioned outside of saying media play. This completely ignores court rulings. As someone who works in journalism, this is negligence at best and willful misrepresentation at worst. While I don’t think Attrakt is an angel company, far from it actually, I think your video is doing more harm than good because it is omitting and misrepresenting a lot of the information with some even being out of date. For example, the media play portion completely ignores the most recent information of the call transcripts between The Givers and Warner Korea and their use of media play as well. Also, while I agree anonymous sources should stay anonymous, you completely misread the broadcasting companies letter. They weren’t saying they needed to be unmasked, they were saying that there was nothing to prove these sources as legitimate. Typically anonymous sources or whistleblowers need some sort of evidence for their claims to be taken into account, which is what the episode did not do. Another one I’ll point out is your final example at the end of the video with discussing other company lawsuits. I think it’s very important to not that all of your examples, the courts have sided with the artists. However, the courts have not with the former members or The Givers. I think that ignores a *huge* caveat in your argument. It would have been interesting to actually see *why* that was. Again, I appreciate all the work you must have done on the video. I just hope you read some of the criticism that is provided to you. Again I’m not someone who is a hardcore new fifty fifty stan (I haven’t even checked out the new girls), I just have some problems with how the info was represented. Thanks if you read this!
thank you so much for your hard work with this video - it's nice to finally see someone debunking all these lies the media are feeding everyone. as a hunnie who has supported the girls since debut and support the boycott movement ive even learnt some new things from this video and more in depth about things i did know - thank you again for this !! sending you love
So Attrakt is the new Blockberry Creative! So if you support all Loona members because they had a slave contract then you must also support the former Fifty Fifty members and boycott Attrakt! It's a real shame how you were all manipulated by Korean TV and hate the former members! You should really be ashamed of yourselves!
This is true about opinions, but korea is being really petty about the 3 girls The truth will come out sooner or later I’m just glad the 3 will debut soon… then I’ll move on to them, since fifty fifty 0.1 OT4 disbanded and re-debuted as 0.2 OT5
Thank you for your hard work ! I'm so glad there is finally someone to at least bring what the original girls said and experienced in a video ! People are always talking for them and about them, citing The Givers, Attrakt and the others but never the girls as if they are objects and don't have their own sides. And fuck Attrakt and The Givers
Idk based on what I've seen and including the evidence you've included i believe that girls suffered under the givers and were under the impression that the actions done by the givers were done by attrakt. Im not saying that the attrakt ceo was perfect in this situation, he def wasnt, but everything else just feels fairly normal for kpop companies.
Done watching the video. I am truly happy and grateful for your hardwork in making the video. I hope many people following Fifty Fifty or misinformed will be enlightened and learn more about the situation. Thank you so much. ❤❤
The amazing part of the whole story to me is the insight into the intertwining of the media, the courts, the companies, the government, and the trolls in Korea. The members never had a chance. Looking forward to their reemergence as healthy adults.
Believing both JHJ and The givers cant be true because they both contradict each other. JHJ is with Attrakt, Keena while The Givers are with 3jeongs and Warner Korea who are against Attrakt.

Thanks for the video. I thought it was just The Givers who was in the wrong. Now I see that both ATTRAKT and The Givers were engaging in fraudulent money scheming and the poor girls were stuck in the middle and only asked for clarity about where the money they were making was going. Shame on ATTRAKT for all the media play they used to ruin these girls.
thank you for making this long video, the videos you produce are amazing and helpful, don’t pay attention to the negative comments
searchingforelris i missed u sm!! i can’t believe you’re back and especially with a 2 hour video ahhh 💗💗
watching this will be a delight, considering i’ve known fifi since their debut. i truly hope sio, aran and saena get their justice.
thank you for this video, it's truly insane just how much these girls went through ......
Thank you for the video!
01:15:20 The only addition (correction?) I can think of, was that the horrid orange album photobook from the video a hunnie took, was not the only monochrome colourway available (at least, not according to images fans took in stores / promotional images / item listings). Aside from the orange colour, the photo books appeared to be the same.
thank you for the video, i hope it reaches more people and sheds more light on 3jeongs
Amazing compiled video with actual sources!
Everyone pls remember, like ❤ positive comments and 👎 the bots
thank you so much for making this
Im of the opinion that even though a lot of these practices done by both companies are normal, it doesn’t make it okay.
Thank you for this beautiful video that explains the event in detail. Also, you provide sources. Thank you for your efforts.
as a Korean person I just want original members to be happy and successful.
What truth lol. Show some of your research what led you to this conclusion
thank you for the video! it’s nice seeing a video that actually takes the time and dedication to go in depth about this situation
I never understood how it could be legal to place all expenses onto employees.
i’ve been following this situation since the beginning and i always believed and stand by the girls side (and will keep doing) because at the end all they wanted was things to be more clear but there was such a mess behind them, from those in charge, and then the girls turned into a sort of punch bag and shield used for those in charge to not get blamed and push the full fault on the girls…also the girls put their life at risk to keep going as a group and people called them all kind of sort of names, that was and still is really ridiculous…and the way everything is presented in this video gives a clear explanation and if people still deny everything they’re just stupid…also because what do you get from supporting such a company?? actually i will never understand kpop stans supporting companies when they dont know how to do their job, they dint know how to promote their artists, they put them on long hiatus and not let them showcase their talents or they overwork them to the point their health is at risk…after the loona situation and other groups like got7 and omegax( if im not wrong) standing up against mistreatment and their companies’ wrongdoing i thought thus industry would proceed in a different way and more idols would feel free to speak up, but unfortunately with how the fifi situation has been going everything just went behind again…
but anyway i will always wish the best to the fifi girls and i hope 3jeong redebut will go well!
thank you for making this video! the whole situation is so messy and I feel sorry for both the original and new girls
hiii love this video but quick question , can you do a video about loonaverse or maybe what went wrong with loona mangagement
simply answer: blockberry creative
Please stay strong and thank you for the video! It deserves many vi3ws
very interested about the direction you'll take in this video. especially lately i've been seeing a lot of news articles making me think that ATTRAKT may not have been as in the wrong as i thought. so it's nice that you put in the effort to compile almost three hours worth of info! i just want the best for everyone that's suffered unfairly
This video is very bad as it twists the truth and provides false information. The content of the video is not based on the truth.
Thank you searchingforelris, I always like your deep dive videos on kpop case
넌 대가를 치룰거야..
Thank you so much for your amazing work! Anybody supporting the cheap, soulless cash grab re-debut is an abuse apologist and never cared for the original line-up what so ever. Free Keena, support 3Jeong!
So if fifty fifty’s company repaid the other company fully can the 3jeong’s come back?
Support 3Jeongs in their upcoming debut!
thank u so so so much for speaking about this!!! hunnies are so thankful
Searchingforelris made an outstanding comeback with an almost 3 hour video 🔥🔥🔥
thank you for this video, will definitely watch it when I have time to do so
thank you so much for your hard work with this video - it's nice to finally see someone debunking all these lies the media are feeding everyone. as a hunnie who has supported the girls since debut and support the boycott movement ive even learnt some new things from this video and more in depth about things i did know - thank you again for this !! sending you love
thank you so much for making this video, its very well researched!
I just hope they will reunite someday
This is true about opinions, but korea is being really petty about the 3 girls
The truth will come out sooner or later
I’m just glad the 3 will debut soon… then I’ll move on to them, since fifty fifty 0.1 OT4 disbanded and re-debuted as 0.2 OT5
Man I don’t think they would’ve able to keep that momentum
What video editor do you guys use? :)
Adobe After Effects! :)
Thank you for your amazing work!
commenting for the algorithm but i’ll come back and watch it in full later!
thank u for this video..just finish watch in full..very good explanation..❤❤..hope can put subtitle in indo bahasa..
Thank you for the full script and sources ❤
1:44:00 i was wondering if the coackroach issues would be mentioned! also, the knetz who claimed mold in your appartment builds character are so????
THANK YOU FOR THIS! ❤❤❤
this case is very similar to the current mhj and newjeans situation.. like eerily similar
Thank you for the hard work!!
Saving this to share later. Thank u so much for this video! ❤
Louder!!!!!!!!!!
i adore you for this. thank you so much. you are beyond loved, and appreciated by victims across the world.
Stupid people think artists are always victims lol they used it to commit crimes
elris is back we cheered
Thank you so much for this video~❤!
Thanks for this 💗💗💗💗
The amazing part of the whole story to me is the insight into the intertwining of the media, the courts, the companies, the government, and the trolls in Korea. The members never had a chance. Looking forward to their reemergence as healthy adults.
One thing to be biased, another thing to deleted comments from people who disagree.
Seems cowardish, ALICE would not approve
thank you for this
please make a video speaking about what has happened with the loona members!!
It sucks that the media is believing JHJ and the givers.
I don’t, but I do feel bad for the 3jeongs, they felt scared, and so they lied and told to lie and told their parents
You allergic to facts eh?
Believing both JHJ and The givers cant be true because they both contradict each other. JHJ is with Attrakt, Keena while The Givers are with 3jeongs and Warner Korea who are against Attrakt.
Thank you deeply ❤
