Yuzo again showed out with this soundtrack. The game could've been way better as they had a blueprint in place. SQUARE ENIX GIVE THIS MAN THE FFXVII SOUNDTRACK!!!
@@calebchild4467 Why is it a spin-off? You play as the same character returning to defeat the same demon who originally attacked this land. He left the people to thrive and develop on their own, so why does he need to worry about creation again?
@@OHG_Fawx Saying its the same character and same villain is a bit of a stretch. The avatar of the hero is completely different, both aesthetically and mechanically. In both games the villain doesn't have any place in the game except to appear at the very end, and likewise he doesn't look/play the same. Saying it has the same main character and villain is just lip service with nothing behind it. And the list of similarities ends with what you mentioned.
@@calebchild4467 Tanzra and The Master are addressed by name in both games, so how is that a stretch? The fact that The Master inhabits a statue with wings this time instead of the armor clad statue from the first game means he's a different entity? The villages we created in the first game have become cities and kingdoms in the sequel, meaning The Master has been gone for a long time. Nothing about this indicates a spin-off.

The game that can't decide if it's a sequel or a prequel... at the very least the soundtrack is ambitious and makes you think of high tragedy.

@@lightelos I can agree with that. This game shouldn't have been billed as a sequel, just as a spin-off. As a spin-off it's a great game.
