This is my third Seiko, and some comments out there regarding accuracy is totally wrong. This Seiko specifically keeps the time perfectly. I think Seiko are very conservative when it comes to the +- seconds.
In any case, cool vid, and thanks.

Thank you for presenting the new Seiko and the detailed naming of the dimensions! 👍

I typically have no interest in a GMT but this would be a strong contender if I do. I currently own and have had for a few yrs SPB105 that's similar and I love that.

I tried it at my local AD, the dial is way too small for a 42mm. The bezel could have been reduced to allow the dial to increase in diameter just a tad more to give it a lot more ruggedness. The quick set date is amazing as far more expensive brands are not able to incorporate this complication. Overall a good looking watch but a tad too dainty.

Dainty as in small? Or cheap feeling?

@tm9184 watch is 42mm so it's just right. The dial is small for a 42mm watch, makes the watch lose its rugged look, tats wat I meant.

I find a thicker bezel to look more rugged than a larger dial.

Despite the effective lug-to-lug, that looks great on your wrist. I need to go try one of these on, but I am sadly across the country from your AD.

I have been waiting for a watch like this to be released. I was looking at the Mido GMT as well, but I actually prefer a caller GMT as I don't travel as often across time zones and I already have a true GMT watch. This one is very nice but I'm just wondering why they didn't go with female end links.

Weird position of date window and crown and that pin and collar system on the bracelet is the worst on another otherwise nice looking watch,

It's very nice. A bit to small for my wrist. Thanks.

This would’ve been a homer if they put the same movement in the sharp edge gmt (true gmt) and then took the date out or placed at 6 for symmetry.

Date at 6. Then you lose the lume at 6. This is a much better solution for a dive watch. True GMT. A caller GMT is far more useful for most.

I just get passed the half assed date window at the 4:30.

Hi Brad, this looks like a winner, particularly if (ha!) Seiko can offer decent accuracy. We know that their movements CAN be accurate...
The sensible lug to lug measurement means that this will be comfortable on most wrists, too.
    Thanks Brad, cheers, Bob 🍻

This 6R54 movement is far more accurate than 6r35. About +-1/2sec per day. Maybe because it's the new movement from seiko. I have tested both of them. ✌️

Sigh. With a flyer GMT movement this would be a home run. As it it, it's a pass for me.

Same here. Basically paying extra $400 for a $1 GMT hand

Huh? This is a traveller GMT, isn't it ?
