How to Speak Clearly and Have an Attractive Voice | 3 Steps

  • Mumbling and stuttering was something I've struggled with for some time, and it was my training in drama school and beyond that helped me sound more articulate. While there are many videos out there on 'how to get a deep voice,' or 'how to sound sexy,' I think the best thing to aim for is clarity of speech, and utilizing the full range of your vocal cords.
    With love and respect,

    • @TheBollywoodCritic
      @TheBollywoodCritic 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Viraj Agarwal except Indian is not an ethnicity you dumbfuck. India has more than 2000 different ethnic groups and is the most diverse country on earth. He can't be an Indian American unless he holds dual citizenship and has both an Indian and an American passport (which isn't possible as India doesn't allow dual citizenship) so he is NOT an Indian American -- simply American. He is simply of Indian heritage but is American. If he wants to identify with an ethnicity he would have to mention his ethnic group ie Punjabi Jatt or Kerala Brahmin or Gujarati Patel etc. I'm a Jatt with heritage from India in Haryana but am American and not Indian as I am a born American citizen. This guy is no different -- he appears to be a Punjabi of some sort. I also don't look like the vast majority of people from India/those with Indian heritage as most of my ancestry is from the Middle East and the Caucasus -- like others in the NW of India that share my ethnic groups' genetic heritage. People always think I'm some sort of White guy. So it makes even less sense to identify with a non existent monolithic identity like Indian when all of us look nothing like each other and when there's thousands of different ethnic groups in India.

    What I noticed, is that even the depth of our voice and even clarity is related to our confidence. If we overthink it, we will mess it up. My voice is so much better, deeper and my word clearer when I just relax. I become aware of my surroundings and I stop thinking (or - get out of my head). Just breath and relax and say what you want to say. When you feel tension, your voice will be higher and you will not be able to focus on your words, so that's why they're not clear enough, most of the time.

    You're an excellent clear speaker, and never be ashamed of your singing either! Thanks for the lesson. I wish certain Hollywood actors would have been taught this. The worst is Mark Harmon. I'm a fan of NCIS (where he earns over a half-million per episode), but he'll mumble at least one line per episode that just cannot be understood, despite multiple attempts on DVR. I recently saw him in a 1987 movie, and he did the same then. I want to yell "Enunciate!"
