Just wanted to listen to 545, and your vid came up as second on the list, so I've listened, and listened again, and I must say you certainly gave an impressive performance there, I especially like the Prelude.
Dude! this is trully awesome. At first I tought it was going to be a crapy video (please no offence) but then I heard one of the most beautiful pieces on the organ. Very good.
BRAVO, Jos, and thank you so much, because I love BWV545 piece !! And wow, now this time you tried the Schnitger organ, which one I didn't know about, so all the more grateful to you for sharing your wonderful performance on it with us !! On the instrument, I am so amazed with its sounds as well as its condition, beautifully restored & painted in brilliant red ( I also like the colours on the manual keyboards, and you were indeed at one with the organ, so Bach would have been so pleased ! ).
Wel eens met unit01, maar je bent jong (was toen heel jong) en een fantastische musicus Jos!! Je hebt het PRACHTIG en con fuoco gespeeld. De muziek zit in jouw genen. Prijs jezelf daarom gelukkig.
Superb ! Very often I listen to BWV 545 of Jos . - Karl Richter, the greatest German Organist of our time would have taken Jos in his J.S.Bachs master class.
I watch a number of these videos and I get the impression the half step or more sharp tuning often found among very old North German (Baroque) organs is not favored in the Netherlands. Was that largely how it was originally or were Dutch organs from that era retuned or repiped to create compatibility with orchestras?
This organ is pitched a semitone lower than usual indeed. I don't think this is original - you are right in saying that North-German styled organs like this one are usually pitched a semitone higher.
Jos is it possible to get in touch as im just a beginner in The Tracker Pipe Organ and tying to sort out a Organ Teacher as well as trying to assess the organs condition and get the Mannuals cleaned at least and repaired if needed. I could do with some support from you if possible. :(
Bravo bravo bravo fantastic grandiose genial music super
An absolute joy and inspiration to listen to, over and over. Excellent playing and magnificent organ.
Brilliant playing 8 years ago for a young and aspiring Jos.

Thank you, your performance was very enjoyable. I liked the tempo.
Molto bravo!
Well played sir!
Well done, Jos, and great video.
Lekker bezig! Met plezier geluisterd.
The desire is there, but more discipline required technically. The organ is beautifully in tune too!
Promettente talento che potrà produrre molti frutti se non verrà meno lo slancio verso un continuo rinnovamento dell'approccio stilistico.
Very clear & accurate, well done
Wonderful!
Not technically perfect, but still one of my favorite interpretations: I found myself unable too look away.
Very good my friend Jos Matters
It does not matter but his name is Maters!
Prachtig, prachtig.
Thanks, I like to hear that my videos are appreciated!
Very nice !
Grazie Danilo!

GREAT THE FINAL OF FUGA!!!!

Dat versnellen is een beetje een enthousiasme-probleempje van mij... Dank u wel voor uw commentaar!
This organ is tuned in B
so good!! you should lern and play hitoric music and organs "barrocos ibéricos" (from Spain), you will like it! ;)
