Hey Liz! 15:28 - To rename a loop component you have to click on the name of the loop component that you just created, in this case 'Component 2'. It will open the component in a new tab and then type a new title. You may have to refresh the tab where the loop component 'Projects' is. And that's how you can rename it. Let me know if it was helpful! Have a good day!
As an almost 4-year daily notion user who also uses Coda and other doc platforms, using Loop at work can be VERY frustrating. Frustrating only bc I'm used to a lot more functionality. It's apples & broccoli. But being able to copy loop components into any MS software, outlook, teams, etc is really useful. Tip: If you're a doc (anytype, notion, coda, craft, mem, obsidian, logseq, affine, capacities, tana, etc etc) user, take a few deep breaths & manage your expectations with Loop
🆕 *Notion vs Loop 🖥️ Design: Both are similar. 📁 Structure: Different naming conventions; simpler in Notion. 📜 Pages: Notion allows page databases; Loop does not. 🔄 Kanban Boards: Both exist; Notion's is more customizable. 🔗 Page Links: Loop integrates Microsoft files; Notion links smoothly. 📹 Videos: Loop's embeds look nicer. 🏆 Recommendation*: Choose Loop for Microsoft environment; Notion for others.
Brilliant video. Very clear and to the point showing what the nuances are of each app. And you video made me want to try out Loop as work in a MS environment.
Great video, Liz! I'm playing around with MS Loop. But just like you, personal life is in Notion. I see big potential in Loop components pasted on Teams but let's see... Corporate styled teams are just documents-email-meeting-chat.
I wonder if Microsoflt will retire OneNote now that they have Loop? I recently started using Loop as a documentation tool where I had previously used OneNote. Already I like it better than OneNote. But still don't like it better than Notion. Great comparison Liz!
I've been playing around with Notion for years and while it's good, it's quite complicated. One of the things that has really annoyed me most about Notion though was that I couldn't link it to my Outlook and other office products. I'm 3xcited about Loop and it may just be what I'm looking for.

Never understood the fascination with Notion. Great video!
Thank you, Liz. This was really good.

Thank you very much, very useful content
Vs OneNote?
Fantastic parallel comparison, Liz. Microsoft needs 20 more years to match Notion. Except component embed, everything seems finicky!
The best Loop vs Notion comparison video by far.
.... honestly i think i'll just use google sheets
