Have you made a video detailing what sort of maintenance is done by BA itself and where, and what 3rd parties are used via contract and ad-hoc ? Is Heatrow only used for overnight and very short term maintenance and what about LGW and MAN ?
@@stuartburge4612 FlyerTalk on the BA pages have a list you can check. Separate page for each type. Or you can ask me here! I think I’ll do a future video on the subject !
Question: do we think ba will recover from the current EC situation, the bad press is endless. So many customers will be lost from this, and in addition to all the other problems they have right now its hard to see what the future of the airline holds
I don’t think they quite realised just how bad the taste left in many loyal customers mouths would be, I think I’ve read 2 positive comments in all I’ve read but they have flights paid for them so they get all the benefits anyway such as priority boarding and lounge.
I think so - they are currently very profitable. The key issue many of us have is the gaslighting and lack of respect prevalent in their comms with cuts, deletions and service reductions painted as improvements as if we are too stupid to know otherwise!
It might be helpful to explain the somewhat extended flight paths you showed under emergency conditions which are designed to burn fuel and lower weight, perhaps because they cannot dump fuel over land or lack the kit to dump in the first place…?
Top G!

Does refit of the 319's/320's mean the new BA interiors and Wifi that was introduced late last year?
No. They get a refurbishment with reused Pinnacle seats but not the very latest BA short haul seats.
Is there a website where I can track which aircraft have club suites?

@@justins6113 yes I could do. It’s also to allow flight crew to brief for landing and check weights and speed etc
