I’m a agate hunter so I really appreciate Gail’s pink one and Alex’s agate. Those wouldn’t be easy to spot with all those colored pebbles. Nice job ladies, you have really been upping your game in 2022.

I live in Midcoast Maine but have roots in Scotland, Ireland & England. I also mudlark on our coastline whenever & wherever I get the chance! One summer my entire backside & shoulders were a nice golden tan but the front 5 shades lighter because I’d spent so much time at the beach head down 😂😂 It’s been a dream of mine for years to visit Scotland, Ireland &/or England to mudlark!! The things you all find are so swoon worthy!!

Absolutely beautiful mermaid pendant 🧜
It is a pink Chalcedony. It is just an opaque form of Chalcedony. This mineral is only found in the form of masses and can range in color from light and dull pink, to bright shades of pink and light red which is just what you found.
My family calls those rocks with the ring all the way around them lucky rocks.
Gail, that necklace is gorgeous. I can’t imagine how long that must have taken with all that detail on it.

That pink agate looking stone may also be a pink amethyst. I have a large one, it looks similiar.
Beautiful work, very inspiring! I was recently in the Caribbean where a terrible hurricane destroyed many buildings, I collected off the beach small pieces of pottery/tiles, worn and soft to touch. To hold these pieces, they tell a story, sadness, someone’s hands had made these pieces. Hopefully I will travel to Scotland soon and get to walk a beach and explore, hold a piece of worn glass or pottery and think about where I found it. 🇨🇦❤️

I LOVE the mermaids amulet!!!
You could take carrying straps with you to move larger rocks and treasures.
I always have a long strap in my car for when I find those delicious big rocks that I need to take home.
Make sure the strap is long enough to secure around the treasure and still allow you to be standing upright when you lift it. It will save your back.
If you have two straps you can both lift it together and walk it to your car easy peasy.
What you thought was cement with glass in it is a conglomerate called a pudding stone😃

The cylindrical item you called a concrete bore core looks more like a core from a Pudding Stone.
I've seen Pudding Stones in Northern Michigan, in the US, but don't know if you have the same thing there.

Mermaids Amulet turned out almost just as i saw it too when you pickedvit up on beach.in my minds eye ,i saw a golden crown 👑 almost on top of it ,with tiny pieces of sea glass as the crowns jewels around it .
