I am 80 yr old, enjoy carnatic/ classical music, a must for my peace of mind . Thanks a lot to " Spoorthi" for your beautiful & mindblowing concerts. Requests to upload more & more "Bhakthi Krithis" Thanks a lot!!
Excellent. I was hearing Mr.Sanjay Subramanyam on On that Note. He mentioned that when he started singing in concerts one music stalwart said to him "why you sing your face down". Look at the Audience and sing. Therefore it my blessings that please train her open her eyes and sing looking at a point of clock or other idol at her eye look place. That will enrich her stage performance. It is my good intensional word for her.
Excellent and leisurely rendition which is rare with contemporary musicians where gimmicks partake traditional rendering. Wish she maintains the clarity and tradition even at the helm of her career which is not far away. God bless you dear
Sukam, Sowkyam, Paramaanandam. What else to say? This is what we wholly experienced listening to this lovely, scholarly singing by this Little Girl. A sweet voice that has inbuilt, inherent feature to emit Gamakams, Brigaas and Sangathis with felicity. Beautifully rendered @ a relaxed pace. Normally, when sung @ a mediaeval range @ a slow pace, the voice would sag to the Rock Bottom and it's a challenge for any vocalist to overcome this phenomenon and resurrect from the Down. But, Spoorthi sung it quite admirably without showing any signs of sagging. Children may get Great Gurus. But, how far they grasp and imbibe the inputs and the nuances inculcated by the Gurus is something that's imponderable. She has made her Gurus proud by this Sweet Spell. The spontaneous reactions and responses from their instruments from Sayee Rakshit, Bharadwaj and Krishna stand as a testimony to how intensely they enjoyed her singing and how beautifully it was rendered by her. May God and her Gurus Bless her to keep growing and to win many more laurels!

Spoorthi's singing style brings the nostalgic rendition of the legendary M D Ramanathan. it's very difficult to sing in chauka kalam and yet bring out the best of the raga bhava Enjoyed the Reetigowlai in the truest form .

Rajaraman Thiagarajan, Santa Clara, California State, USA Dated: Monday the October 4th, 2021 - timed:11.31 pm night time here The Concert Vocal by Kumari Spoorthi Rao, with her impeccable style and very commendably assisted by Shri. Sayaee Rakshit on Violin and on Mridhangam by Shri. N.C.Bharadwaj, on Ghatam by Shri. S. Krishna was indeed a treat to be heard and enjoyed by one and all of the Carnatic music Patrons. The leisurely constructed method adapted by the troupe was very nice. The Highlights were the beautifully synchronised way of both the Mridhangam and Ghatam both of whom ensured that their part did not submerge the Vocalist but added charm with just right levels. Each of the Artists were very adept in their fields led by the youngster Kumari. Spoorthi Rao who is already to be rated amongst the very best in the field thanks to the enormity of the practice sessions by her under the tutelege of Vidhushis Ranjani and Gayathri. Best wishes to all of them.
GREAT. young and talented, she upholds our tradition and purity of classical karnatik style of rendering the kritis of great musicians. God bless her, wish her great future.
