They are a phenomenon little brother. I think I read somewhere that Till Lindamann is a trained pyro-tech and that's why they use fire a lot in their stage shows.
Apparently he learned all that stuff in the first place because he had stage fright, felt awkward, didn't know where to look or what to do with his hands, so the pyrotechnics were a way for him to have something to do while singing that would add to the performance

Rammstein are considered ‘industrial techno metal’ or Neue Deutsche Härte which translates as “new German hardness”. To see Rammstein live is indescribable. It’s a total immersive experience. Their pyrotechnics are amazing as you can see in the video, but to be there is next level. Been a huge fan since the 90’s. Also recommend Rosenrot, Sonne and Mein Tell. I don’t speak German, but you don’t need to with these guys 👍👍👍👍
I finally got to see them live and no other concert I've been to has been like theirs. Ramstein concerts are a whole different level and being in the fire zone was amazing
Rammstein is probably the best metal band to see at least one time in your life live. I went many times, always the same "woaw", each song is a banger on stage, because of lights, pyro, fx. Sometimes fun or creepy or both. Last time was last summer in Spain, with some crazy heavy rain since the morning we waited, i've never been so much wet in my whole life, but it added some magic to the show.

Rammstein: "we're going to play Engel." Venue: "which one is that?" Check out Feuer frei!, or Sonne, or ... well, any of them, really. They don't tour often enough, but if you get the chance, go see them.
“Engel” is a song from Rammstein’s 2nd album “Sehnsucht” (1997). This song was the first commercial success in Germany - the first album "Herzeleid" (1995) remained musically quite unnoticed by the public until then. After that it was a steep climb - with the usual ups and downs. I also like “Engel” and especially because of the whistling. It fits perfectly. And it's risky - a lot of people don't like whistling in songs. You also like this whistling sound (besides the song) - that's why I recommend another song with exactly this special feature (whistling). It's by DREAMCATCHER - a Korean group with a clear hard rock influence (of course not comparable to Rammstein). Very worth listening to and seeing: “Piri” (official Dreamcatcher MV). This group (which I would classify as an alternative in the broadest sense) has been around for over 7 years now and is fantastic. If you are interested, the last publication “Justice” is also recommended. Anyway - thanks for the Rammstein reaction. And greeting from Germany.
The genre is called 'Industrial Metal' and it is a fusing of industrial and heavy metal, which is why it has the combination of synth and sequencer, sampling, distorted guitars and distored vocals

My first introduction to Rammstein was live aus Berlin, asche zu asche.when i see the guy singinging on the microphone and the microphone was on fire and he kept singing on it...thats it! Became a fan
Rammstein caused people to rethink things back in late 1990's. Engel song was published on Sehnsucht ("Desire") album back in 1997, and just like it's predecessor album Herzeleid ("Heartbreak", 1995), album combined 1990's techno/dance music themes with slightly heavier guitar riffs. When you look up song lyrics from first two albums, you understand why some people thought Rammstein were making fun out of popular techno/dance music of it's time. Beside regular "I love your baby" style lyrics, there is song about baby smelling good (on Herzleid album) and other song where lyrics go through wedding ceremony dialogue (on Sehnsucht album). Still Rammstein influenced a lot of bands late 1990's and early 2000's, specially after Live Aus Berlin 1998 was released. Entire stage show is to give non-German speaking audience something to see for tickets.
Rammstein are one of the best live performers I've seen. You should try to get your hands on their Paris show in 2012 I believe. Amazing! If I remember correctly your reaction for Du Hast was from that show. If you get your hands on it be prepare for anything. Their "Bück dich" performance was quite memorable

Brilliant lyrics
Mein Teil (live version) is fantastic.
The entire concert from Paris is a must see.
Another German band called “Guano Apes” and the song is called “Proud like a God”. This will blow your mind.
This show was after when they were in Philadelphia, which we went to at the Lincoln Financial Stadium.
And these videos are in Paris (Du Hast) and New York (Engel) and the crowds don't speak the language, but love it anyway!
rammstein is one of my favorites!!!
Ahhh stein like frankenstein my brother, good video man, would love to see some more ramm, possibly my favourite band of all time, their lives are amazing but I think they’re a rare case of when a band does truly amazing things with their music videos I rlly recommend em

They are all nice guys and they put so much effort in everything they do!! Keep going with them, absolutley!! Also an advice: the lyrics of their songs are really meaningful and everyone can give a personal interpretation from them, which Is very cool!! So if you want, you can also Discover the topico behind the songs and understand their performances even more!! Enjoy!!❤

A German band with very similar background (Metal, firework, origin East Germany) but completely different kind of music is "In Extremo". They play metal mixed with Medieval instruments and lyrics. It's worth a try!
