Bob, I so love a data fest! So impressed by your fastidious record keeping & spreadsheet skills. Our van is a 21 yr Fiat 160 Auto base so your data translates readily. It would be interesting to perhaps understand the delta between say a month at home vs a month on the road ie the extra it costs taking into account possible savings on utilities etc at home? One for a very idle moment perhaps😂. We’re now planning our spring retirement trip & ferry booked for May, look forward to seeing your next series. Rgds. P
Many thanks indeed for that Peter 😁 A data fest indeed and your suggestion would be an interesting addition as we are an all electric house and Winter travel would save us a load of heating costs at home and we’d probably gain being on the road !!! (Never an idle moment in retirement 😂) Nothing booked yet but France beckons in perhaps Aprilish 🎉 but your trip will be a great retirement present!! I think you should do a countdown spreadsheet to retirement 😂😍

Hi guys. This was really interesting, detailed and massively helpful to me as someone close to finally making the decision to purchase my first motor home. Looking forward to seeing your next trip with great anticipation. Thanks for sharing👍👍
Many thanks for that Eurotoura, much appreciated and glad it was of use. I remember that time well from a couple of years ago - exciting times ahead!! Have a look at the weighbridge film we did too all about payload - a key issue for buying :))
Like the previous comment this was very interesting as we too are considering a motorhome. Very well explained. Our concern is we are not allowed to store a motorhome on our new development so we will have the additional storage costs and inconvenience to weigh up.
Many thanks for watching and that is a major pain - I guess it depends if it were rigidly enforced. We had some odd caveats on our new build that all seem to have been ignored on the estate and no one seems worried !! Might be worth starting with it on the drive and seeing what happens?! The moho has been sooooo much fun - fingers crossed for your future purchase 🎉🚌
Hi, love the detail. We’re currently waiting for our New Motorhome (Rapido A class) to be delivered. Your insurance seems very reasonable as we have had quotes of between £900 - £1300. Would you mind sharing the company you are using please…
Many thanks for that and very exciting times ahead 🎉🎉😍 I have so far gone through the CAMC (Caravan and Motorhome Club) each year since new. Last year they used Devitt but this year for the next 12 months they have used West Bay Ins PLC according to their documents @ £504. Good luck with the quotes! 😁🚌
