Destroying, then fixing Kawasaki Voyager 1200 water pump! How'd I do it?

How I destroyed then fixed a Voyager XII water pump. Made some assumptions and mistakes during disassembly, leading to the pump exploding. Proper disassembling and reassembling a replacement pump with a brand-new mechanical seal.

Good job sir, love the channel. Spent my day in the shop removing the engine from an 06 Nomad I bought. Bevel drive gear went out, owner kept driving til it got hot enough under the side cover to melt the 2 stator connectors that then caught on fire.
Schrapnel in the engine is bad, need an engine and wiring harness. Any day in the shop is a good day!

Enjoyed the video Tom. This type of video is going to be essential down the line. I was looking at one of these bikes today, an import to the UK from the US. When you finish the bike could you do a video on it? A really interesting machine, Kawasaki’s answer to the Gold Wing?
