I like bar stool 3 if you were going to change. I actually like the bar stools you have now - they blend in so you don't notice them - which I like. I like the white curtains too.
Need the motivation today. Major cleaning today. A water line pipe broke in our kids bathroom and water was running through our kitchen lights and it went everywhere - used most the the towels in my house.. We found the pipe but now I have a large hole over my stove (dust) and one in the bathroom. will be cleaning that mess after my hubby and his brother fix another small leak and replace the shower head and sticker. Need to stay energized - its going to be a long day.
I love the new white cabinets, it really brightened the whole room up. I say keep the curtains as they are pretty. I liked option 1 for the bar stools. I hope this helps Jamie.
The “new” kitchen looks great. For the bar stools, perhaps spray painting them to see if you like it and then make the purchase. Spray paint is not very expensive and that might help you decide on the color.
I was thinking that. Speaking of spray painting bar stools and possibly saving some money, there's a trick to making a solid color look like aged wood. I don't know it, but I've seen it used by other youtubers on occasion, something about using wax over the solid color and wiping it off? I'm probably way off on that lol. Edit: I almost dumped my own comment here rather than just a reply lol.

The white really did open and brighten your kitchen! So what did you decide on the stools as final verdict and curtain? My vote would have been to spray paint the stool as I did not like the colour or farmhouse wood look in the pics and I agree with one person who said to move your curtain rod several inches higher and definitely white looks great! Although a soft beige would have gone with your “family” sign and counter! A sectional and coffee table with storage below is ideal or ottoman IKEA has some amazing coffee table/storage options for sure! Love to see the next few videos on what you decided! The dark cabinets before were very pretty BUT THE NEW KITCHEN 🙌🏼! The white is so clean and airy! It’s a great contrast with the dark floors. Love all of it!
The kitchen looks amazing and is such an improvement. I would do option 3 on the stools. I like your white curtain but the only suggestion I would have is the raise the rod so it is on top of the entire window.

And I like option one for the stools, in my opinion you don't want them same colour as the cabinets as they'll blend in but if they are a different colour like the first option they'll stand out more but that's just my personal choice.
Hi Jamie, 2 of the options for the stools are so close to what you have now, I’d just paint the original stools and save some $$. As far as your curtains go, those look really pretty, however, I’d raise the rod all the way up, and that would make more of a statement. I hope you find my suggestions helpful. Love those white curtains but again perhaps a light grayish color - keep in mind your countertops too Option 3 looked good too!! I agree that fabric will be tough to keep clean with little hands but they look very nice. Anything you pick will be great. You can also paint what you already have. The curtains are great and help to brighten the space. The kitchen is so bright now that your living room looks dark in the evening! Can’t wait to see the new furniture!

Didn’t you say your couch was going to be gray? If so, I think that would really tie things together! As for the curtains, is there any way you could do a sort of super slim blind or covering instead of curtains? The curtains and rod look sort of “heavy” and I wonder if getting rid of the fabric would visually open up that area? Just my opinion.🤷🏼♀️ Can’t was to see your new furniture and the other changes you make!
Option 3 looks like it has some yellow tones to blend with countertops.....could always match the couch for curtains or gray or white is always safe 😂😂...great kitchen
I like the gray stools. I think a gray curtain similar to the stainless steel could pull that gray in that direction in a classy way or leave the white. The white cabinets and lights totally made that room look amazing. So excited for you!

I thought the countertops were gonna be changed at the same time. Now that she has said that it was not in the buget I see why. The cupboard transformation is lovely. It certainly did brighten up your kitchen and I love how pleased you are with the results. As for your barstools, I would keep and paint them the same colour as your kitchen chairs.

Option 2 - love the classic look. Curtains - it would depend on the colour of your sectional but I would definitely change the fabric. Love your white kitchen - much more modern and very bright.

The kitchen turned out fabulous!!. The white cabinets really brighten up the kitchen and makes the hardware pop. For barstools i would definitely go with option 2. Don't be afraid of them getting dirty from the kids. My barstools are fabric and i cover them with pillow cases and take them off when company is coming. For curtains i think a solid grey will be really pretty TFS!!

Love love love the kitchen😍😍 I vote option 2 for the bar stools. With a steamer you should be able to keep them clean. Also maybe a warmer colour for the curtains, so they blend better with the warmer tone of the countertops. L8ke a creamy white? And I think if the curtain is hanging higher, closer to the ceiling, it will look like the ceiling is higher too. And one last tip, hope you don't mind, how about changing the hardware of the cabinets, like a soft gold colour? It might look better with the countertop. Just some ideas from someone who's very excited for your home upgrades😁 I see a few comments on painting the bar stools, that's an even better option👏🏼👏🏼

I absolutely LOVE the white cabinets!! As far as stools, I would spray paint them white. Curtains: white is good, but I would raise the rod above the transom window, so you’d need longer ones. I can’t wait to see your new sectional!!

Love, love, love the white cabinets! I agree it makes your kitchen look much bigger. Bar stools, I like option 2 and 3. If you choose the fabric you can always scotchguard them to protect the fabric from stains.
Yay! the new kitchen looks awesome. For the bar stools I like option 2 I know fabric and kids don't match well sometimes but you have a carpet cleaner with a attachment if they do spill. For the curtains I would do a two toned (or even stripped) white and navy. I think it would work well with the kitchen colors and tie in some of the Navy you have on your back patio.

The kitchen turned out fabulous!!. The white cabinets really brighten up the kitchen and makes the hardware pop. For barstools i would definitely go with option 2. Don't be afraid of them getting dirty from the kids. My barstools are fabric and i cover them with pillow cases and take them off when company is coming. For curtains i think a solid grey will be really pretty TFS!!

Love love love the kitchen😍😍 I vote option 2 for the bar stools. With a steamer you should be able to keep them clean. Also maybe a warmer colour for the curtains, so they blend better with the warmer tone of the countertops. L8ke a creamy white? And I think if the curtain is hanging higher, closer to the ceiling, it will look like the ceiling is higher too. And one last tip, hope you don't mind, how about changing the hardware of the cabinets, like a soft gold colour? It might look better with the countertop. Just some ideas from someone who's very excited for your home upgrades😁

I absolutely LOVE the white cabinets!! As far as stools, I would spray paint them white. Curtains: white is good, but I would raise the rod above the transom window, so you’d need longer ones. I can’t wait to see your new sectional!!

Love, love, love the white cabinets! I agree it makes your kitchen look much bigger. Bar stools, I like option 2 and 3. If you choose the fabric you can always scotchguard them to protect the fabric from stains.

Yay! the new kitchen looks awesome. For the bar stools I like option 2 I know fabric and kids don't match well sometimes but you have a carpet cleaner with a attachment if they do spill. For the curtains I would do a two toned (or even stripped) white and navy. I think it would work well with the kitchen colors and tie in some of the Navy you have on your back patio.
I love the look of the new kitchen! I also really loved option 2 on the bar stools, but I am sure whatever you pick will look great.
