This is superb, only thing is, Its not farming its manufacturing. Can you imagine how much money would have been spent to setup such a unit. But this is the next big thing, small farmers will be gone, indigenous food will be gone, nutritional value will be gone, only genetically modified "superior" crop will prevail that are profitable. I would still like to buy local and naturally grown food.
Certainly this method can be used to grow organically, with high concentration of trace minerals and nutrients. When growing in the ground, a lot of the nutrients will be washed away but with this method it will reach the plant more effectively. However, only select crops like leafy greens will thrive and others need to grow deep roots to be healthy. Sure, some deep rooted plants can survive in this method but I am not sure they would be the healthiest.
I am moving to my husband’s home town of Hyderabad from US and hope to work in agri-business industry. I am a business student and passionate about agriculture. 🙏🏼
we need to promote such agricultural practices that are more environment friendly and water/nutrients saving. That's the only way we can save our planet earth
Impressive use of technology but Manufactured produce raises alarm on the dangers of corporate agriculture. ! Going local is more sustainable for both environment and economy.
How do you explain putting the current farmers out of work and destroying their livelihoods. Nothing is better than you grow with your own hands. Not impressed. Another bill Gates destroying mankind.
