Thank you for posting this video. I was able to see the luggage and other items so much better than just the photos online. With the super awesome discounts I got on Vera's website last night, I purchased probably way too many Mocha Rouge items. :) Between this video and Ally's Companion Attache video, I'm pretty well set on Mocha Rouge now. My early birthday present to myself I keep saying. Thanks again for posting this video.
You're welcome! You can see the spinner is basically just like yours, except without the 3" expansion and with casters that rotate 360 degrees. It's a great bag! I'm excited to use it. :) I am also bidding now on a mini laptop case for use when I get an iPad. Since Mocha Rouge is discontinued I'm bidding on one on ebay. Luckily I have almost everything I'll need, as I think items in that pattern are going to become rare very soon.
tiercej - Yes your ipad will fit in the front pocket of the bookbag. But keep in mind that the latch on it is magnetic. While it will stay closed with smaller items, you will want to carry your iPad in the main compartment. Both for security reasons and safety reasons so it doesn't fall out. It does fit nicely under airplane seats, even when completely full. So you'd want to perhaps carry lighter objects (snacks, etc) in the front pocket and your electronics in the main compartment. :)
You're welcome! And there is no such thing as "too much Mocha Rouge"!! My husband groans every time a VB box shows up at the house. He can't possibly imagine what MORE I need. Now I'm eyeing the Metropolitan since the Weekender is too big for travel with the 22" luggage. I don't think the weekender will fit under the plane seats, but I hear the Metropolitan does, and it'd be larger than my small bookbag.
Yes, the weekender would fit under the seat on most planes as long as you don't have it packed so tight that it can barely zip. A few weeks ago I flew with the rolling luggage in this video and the messenger bag and the messenger fit easily under the seat with room to spare. Just be sure to save some 'wiggle' room to stuff it under the seat and you should be fine.
It makes me really happy that all of your things are the same pattern. All of my vera bradleys look all mismatched because I am so indecisive and can't commit to a pattern! Hahahah!
Luckily the one item I'm currently bidding on on Ebay (mini laptop case in Mocha Rouge) is still less than retail. I think once the pattern is officially completely gone from the website it's going to explode. I also have no intention of selling any of my items, but it is kind of nice to know that it truly is an investment, not just an expensive purchase! Now I just have to decide what else I want/need in M.R. for traveling!
Yeah I see them but they're not that discounted so I'm just clenching my teeth trying to hold myself back from splurging on these pretty things hahaa Thx for the info. You got a good deal !!
The spinner really is the same as mine. I have some stuff coming in the mail in the next week from VB too. And yes, usually when they retire a pattern, then the value goes up quite a bit. I know I saw my java blue carry- on on ebay a few months ago for 500 dollars!!!! I could never part from mine, but at least it's satisfying to see that the purchase can also be an investment. ;-)
I think it's just a passport cover. It may no longer be available on their site. I did however find a review for it on youtube. Her name is randomgoodee. They have many other passport holders if you're interested in those.
It hasn't been on a featured sale in a long time. I'm hoping our time is coming soon and it's put back on the 40% or 50% off weekend sale! There aren't many more pieces I want, but I could always use a few more. =)
I actually bought all of these items on sale. Some were 40% off, and some 50% off. If you sign up for emails at verabradley . com you'll get notifications each day of which items and patterns are on sale. Mocha Rouge is discontinued and has been at 40% - 50% off the last 6 months. You just have to watch for the emails to see when it goes on sale. There aren't many items left in this pattern though, so if you see something you want you may want to purchase it now.
Lovely collection, thank you.
Whatever you purchase next, make sure to review it!
Wow! super nice collection! Thanks for showing your latest purchase!
I know I'm late but this was a good review.I wasn't bored a bit.All the items are very nice.
This is all beautiful! I love mocha rouge!

What's the style of the back pack ? And weekender?
Love this pattern! I started my collection a little late but I am getting good deals.

Thank you! I have another piece, the mini laptop bag, coming either today or tomorrow. I love mocha rouge too!!
Great video thanks fir sharing.
Gorgeous Collection! Thanks for your time! You mentioned the Metropolitan, I am a big fan, I think you`d love it.
This video was so relaxing. You have a wonderful voice. Thanks for the tour of your bags - I totally want a spinner now!
would the weekender bag when packed fit under an airplane seat or would it have to go overhead? thanks
Did you get any discount on your stuff? How much did you pay for each piece? When Should I wait for a sale? Thanks.

I can't find the passport holder in the vera Bradley website. that's the name of it? is it a wallet?

But what if you start hating the pattern of everything 😳
