I experimented with beaming more and mostly dropping Cloak, Trap and Ritual after 40%, but I would run out of Mag so I had to swap to the Radiant Glory morph lol. I would try to only use Cloak or Trap if I need to barswap while PotL is still ticking. It seems to work well. I'm not sure if it's equal if not better than keeping up the DoTs tho.
I didn't test a lot of builds so I'm not really sure what's technically BiS, but I really like this setup. I know the bow/bow plar hits harder, but I like my Jabs lol. I also didn't crit farm for very long (30-40 minutes) so this setup could maybe hit higher? Though this parse did have some decent beam crits.
What's new in Update 41:
- Status effects got changed quite a bit in Update 41
- Poisoned and Burning (from enchants alone) are about the same if not slightly less dps (~1K)
- Hemorrhaging is down 3-4K (due to Trap's Bleed chance nerf) unless you invest in a lot of Bleed attacks
- Direct Damage status effects like Sundered now do ~105% more damage. Sundered now also gives 100 Weapon/Spell damage. This is pretty nice with PotL's guaranteed sundered change.
Why Nirn/Precise?
- TLDR: I think it depends on the build, but I found Nirn/Precise to be slightly better for this setup. Nirn/Charged gives roughly the same results.
- Long answer: Charged/Charged is probably going to be the new Single Target meta for many classes. For the Templar and Arcanist (with Beam) though, I'm not so sure. I'm unable to test Arc since I don't own Necrom on PC, but for Templar I found Nirn/Precise or Nirn/Charged to be better, at least for this setup, probably because we get guaranteed Burning and Sundered from Zaan and PotL, respectively. Charged/Charged could be better if we didn't have Zaan.

For "full damage" Stamplars in raids, you'll typically want to use Relequen, but sometimes you can get away with Coral Riptide, especially in vAS and vCR if the fight is fast (less than 3 minutes).
Deadly Strike is the most commonly paired set, but Aegis Caller, Advancing Yokeda (aka Berserking Warrior), or Pillar of Nirn are also good. Tzogvin and Sul-Xan's Torment are also great sets but pretty niche.
Velothi mythic amulet has been standard for a while now on templars, but Mora's Whispers is also pretty good.
A typical setup I see in high-end teams nowadays is:
5x Relequen (body)
5x Deadly Strike (front bar)
2x Master's Bow backbar (or VMA Greatsword, or VMA Inferno)
1x Velothi
1x Slimecraw
On PC, you can run bow/bow for most bosses, but on console it's usually better to stay in Dual Wield so you can Whirling Blades in add pulls.

I picked up Templar again and really started to enjoy the class again. Especially when using Jesus beam.
Really well done. I'm gonna see what I can do with the same setup. Cheers!
Amazing stuff - "On PC, you can run bow/bow for most bosses, but on console it's usually better to stay in Dual Wield so you can Whirling Blades in add pulls.
" PLEASE explain ? OH wait this you mean because you can't quickly swap setups on console ?
Yeah no wardrobe on console. In casual/fun runs, you have all the time in the world to swap gear/skills, but in speedruns you want to go go go. No time for lots of swapping.
Aegis is down kinda often between procs. Im guessing it got u better results over deadly so u can run zaans and not have to use charged?
Thx a bunch for vid.
Hope devs see your characters name 🙏 noice parse m8
I tried it can only hit 96k which is still amazing just hard to keep up with the switching back and forth and keeping all the buttons up until 42 percent
@@ethancenter3835 you can try checking out some static rotos for stamplar if u want. There's a few that can do 115 or 120k+
Love this thanks who is the music artist please ?
@@SuzyWatson-q8f I usually leave song names at the bottom of the description. This one is "Øneheart, Pensees - sequoia"
Hey why did you mix your daggers with 2 different sets?
How long was the farm? What’s the average dps you get from this build? I’m not trolling, I genuinely wanna know
I mean crit farm
For this setup specifically, I think I gave it about 15 parses, which was about 45 minutes. My average (rough estimate) was about 129K as long as I didn't mess up my roto. The lowest I got was 125K.
Are there any armour sets that fit Templar theme. Just for fun/RP purpsoes?
Wrathsun is a templar-specific set you can try. It comes from Infinite Archive.
Deadly Strike increases Channeled and DoT damage by 15% and is also a meta set. Ideally you want to front bar it.
Another templar theme set is maybe War Maiden, which gives 600 more Spell/Weapon Power to Magic Damage abilities. You can body this set.
@@Fraktahl ah thank you. Will try those sets out.
@@Fraktahl You know what my problem is? I am a certified altaholic
what healing ability should i be running
where i can get this build?
1. Ggs. 2. Heal beam underrated. 3. Great detailed notes in description. 4. U coulda prebuffed with cloak n solar :) if ur gonna use rally mine as well. 5. Holy mf sexy frames!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤💔💔💔 even with all the buffs n numbers on
what sets would you use for 4man?
Theres a few good setups. I dont 4man often but i think Sul-xan/Order's Wrath (OW) or Sul-xan/Deadly is a good one.
A more accessible setup might be OW/Hunding's, OW/Deadly or any craftable combination. You can also use Tzogvin, Ansuul, or Pillar.
@@Fraktahl cool, thanks for the reply! been looking at your parse like 7 times lol gg!
Is it still viable? Thanks 💜
Hi! Yes, this is still viable. However, it's mainly a dummy parsing build. Your typical Deadly/Rele (usually with backbar Master's Bow) is a bit more versatile if you plan to stamplar in content.
@@Fraktahl thank you!
