I really appreciate your philosophy about theory crafting because I took a long hiatus from the game until this week partially because I got so tired of putting together dummy builds to pump out these monster parses to get on prog teams only to find that those builds just could not deliver in actual content. Everyone would talk trash about one bar builds until the team was falling apart on the vHOF twins or last boss vDSR/etc, and the raid lead would finally ask me to pull out old faithful oakensorc and I'd end up outperforming all the fancy parse builds in the logs lol. I'm back to the game with new energy now, though, and all I want is to find builds that are truly functional. I'm going to dust off my templar tonight and give your bow setup a try 🙂 Subscribed!
Ansuul should be bodied on this, not Deadly Strike. Poison Inject is just better than Venom Arrow unless youre dedicated to interrupting on an encounter. Shooting Star gives more damage than Nova. Deadly Aim is better than Master at Arms to buff beam damage. fighting Finesse is not needed in group content since plars get Class crit damage.
I don't have Mages Guild done. Don't really care for it lol but I know that ultimate is one of the top ones. In terms of what to wear on body and jewelry makes no difference to me as I'm running an arena back bar. Usually I'm dropping my dawnbreaker over nova. In terms of CP I find myself switching them out for different purposes however the build how it is works amazingly well as a general build for all content
Why ansuules over other sets like coral? Unless your getting alot of interrupts all the time just seems waisted. Wouldn't Orders wrath be better if you can't get coral? Otherwise I would say drop Ansuul and use coral riptide
There is no reason to use Ansuul on this build, when Coral will vastly outperform Ansuul. It is rare you can get that 14% out of the set, apart from some fights like Exarchanic Yaseyla. As was mention comet outdpses dawnbreaker. You only use dawnbreaker if you know you will not have enough ulti for comet before the target dies. Radiant glory also does more damage than jabs at around the 40% mark.
