they pretty good for various kind of missions, they have a huge health in comparisopn to other troops, they arent too cheap or to expensive so they dont become op, but what really hit them hard is the miserable amount of damage they made,they made to be a human wall for avoiding enemies getting in, but when it comes to the masive amount of damage a macemen do, they don't stand chance,for me neither i use don't both too much, my personal favorite is enigneer, cause of his versatility and strategic value they have
@@sergioamaya3062 Macemen are the only cost effictive counter to pikemen. Pikes are better against every unit in comparison to macemen, save the maceman himself.
i think siege equipment life time strongly depends on how many engineers does it require, for example shield requires 1 engineer, so he dies at 1 sec, ballista lives 2.2 sec, so the 2 engineers too

The best way to reduce the size of the army from 120 to 23 (taking into account the active resistance that would otherwise be suppressed) The Caliph taught me to divide the stormtroopers into gryphs and enter from several sides, or in active defense to defeat crossbowmen with the subsequent mopping up of those who survived.....now on 41 missions, passed easily (with the exception of two richards with damn catapults)

Does fire damage stack? I guess so considering boiling oil literally kills everything instantly. I've sent so many mace men up a keep only to have them burned alive because I missed a single boiling oil engineer
It doesn't stack. Fire does always the same damage, no matter the source. However, the area of effect differs in some ways. Depending on the game speed, it often feels instant, when your whole army burns to the ground :D
I was actually wondering about that myself. The Fire Throwers only cause "small fires" with their attack, but I'm wondering if the big fires (like the ones that rapidly spawn and spread when fire breaks out in your castle) deal more damage than the small ones, because the big fires will wipe out even attacking Swordsmen in seconds.
Also try: worker's fire resistance (Fun fact: firewatches aren't immortal to fire, they just having a strong resistance to fire and dies after tens seconds of burning)

Stronghold logic:
Pikemen, equipped with metal armor (which are definitely good conductors of heat) survives getting burnt than the others
You'd die from smoke inhalation long before your armour heats up
man it is quite the surprise that the game devs put a lot of effort into the screams of agony when you were alit

Are you sure that initial impact doesn’t do damage? Every firebomb that hits the enemy.
The projectile itself does 0 damage. It's just the fire and that works like every other fire in the game.
