nice, and that's it, most 3D artists don't understand that what makes a 3D animation film beautiful is not only software like blender, but also lighting, camera position, depth of field, camera movements etc without forgetting post production and color grading and many other elements
for the denoise in the prefilter option pick none instead of accurate that will give u a much better denoise probably even better than nuke or resolve, also when it comes the indirect and direct light put them both on 0 and 0.01 for noise threshold and ofc 2k or 4k res but using the resolution percentage slider, these are the best settings I've reached
Blender just gets better and better. You can't beat free either. I have dabbled with 3d modeling going back to PovRay and 3d Studio V3 both for DOS. Played with various software over the years but never took it serious till now. If I had only spent those 30-35 years sticking with it.
I dare you to try Unreal Engine 5.4 and Its new Plugin “Dash” When you’re ready to add materials and set dress 3d assets details. In the most seamless fashion possible. I’m assuming you downloaded a lot of free assets from megascans…. And I believe this new plugin is too over powered. And it’s so lowkey not a lot of people know about it.
In the render, advance settings, you can click on the clock icon to the right to randomize seed. If you are making an animation this is a great way to break noise pattern. Results with lower sampling number will be much, much better.
If you’re denoising in post, do not enable this because the randomized noise pattern will mess with the tools. You can render higher resolution and lower samples to get better quality/same amount of time, in this example since it was just a still I bumped it up to 1024.
I have to say that I found beautiful this work but I don't like eevee, I can't stand with the fake reflections and the fake raytracing, I wish they put on there an option for real raytracing and real reflections no matter if that increases the render times, are these "improvements only for eevee?
To quote CinemaMotions " cycles all the way, eevee is great but not my workflow" in a post from Uhfgood above this one.... so he uses Cycles in Blender ✌
@ i mention in the video “render out in EXR fullfloat DWAA” , davinci’s tools and layout is simpler with better controls without Adobe’s AI slop they keep inserting into photoshop.

Super cool!!!! Love your work! I’d love to see more videos on your thoughts and workflow on blender!
Really love this environment hope to see more darkish ones o.O

@@Dead_Last Yes, and Photoshop handles them just fine. Using Resolve to post-process a static image is overkill and weird.
