Bro, you kept it so real on this... a lot of type beat channel videos don't mention the first initial dip your channel will probably have after being pushed for a month or two... it's so confusing and you feel like youtube betrayed you lol.... thankfully I haven't stopped and although my youtube views are total duds right now, my traffic on marketplace is increasing everyday
I started making beats because I was in a band and we needed synth backing tracks and wanted drum samples in our music we were a rock band and walked into a Sam ash and started messing around with a tr 808 and system 8 and since then I haven’t stopped making beats
no offense man but if you’re going to talk about how to grow a type beat channel you need to show us some numbers. Numbers don’t lie, and if you want to establish authority for your new viewers you should let the numbers talk more. I don’t know what your revenue is, but after checking out your type-beat channel and your beatstars, doing some simple calculations with standard conversion rates and making a guess about how long it takes you to produce, mix, upload etc… I have you making close to $7 an hour throughout the entire process. I know that number is definitely not accurate, but considering that you chose not to share any data pertaining to sales, it brings a lot of questions. On one hand, yes, you did manage to successfully grow a type beat channel to nearly 1k subscribers relatively fast, but on the other hand, the monetary reward for the hundreds of hours of dedicated work to grow that channel doesn’t seem worth it at all. BUT WE DON’T KNOW. Please share more data. Exclusive sales? Overall profits? Beat leases? Return customers? We want to know these things.
Partially. I think more eyeballs definitely help getting more sales. But if you do some things correctly in communication etc. you can make more sales with less views.
Indedd, comparison is the thief of happiness.👌

Exactly! Eventough my views were a lot higher at a certain point, I made a lot more money recently off the channel. It’s not just about the views etc.
I don't think my channel was pushed to begin with only dips lol😭

What a journey! Thanks for sharing your story. Are your beats rock inspired too now or do you make all kind of stuff?
@@spryng not really no! Mostly just partynextdoor, Bryson tiller, The Weeknd type of stuff
So basically RnB & Pop Stuff? What a transition!
@@spryng yes sir it’s my favorite genre to make!
As always 🔝🔝🔝🔝 grateful for the knowledge

More views doesn't mean more sales, did you agree with that?
Partially. I think more eyeballs definitely help getting more sales. But if you do some things correctly in communication etc. you can make more sales with less views.
i got no views at all on my last few beats. DId i get shadow banned?
I don’t really believe in those shadowbans. Maybe TH-cam is looking for a new audience. Did u do anything differently compared to before?
@@spryng changed channel desctiption, i added couple of tags there.
Does you still feel like your views going down significantly after changing back?
@@spryng Can't tell cause i usually get from 2 to 10 views
