Perms only come out really good if number one you have the right hair texture, (thick/normal hair), and your hair is not to short. Someone like me doesn’t have either one of those things. My hair is thin, and not long enough.
I got sort of thick hair and when I come out the shower it looks pretty curly but it always starts to fall flat and become straight pretty much.

Only lasts a day or two though so you have to keep redoing it but that’s the only way without a perm

jay use “only” conditioner on ur hair and massage ur hair gently and leave it as long as u can. After, u wash it with cold water. Do not use any kind of shampoo on ur hair everyday. My hair grew quick not even a month after my barber messed up my hair!

Lots of people are turning the perm rods in the front towards the forehead. I myself had a perm done this way. However i wasn’t really satisfied as my hair kept falling onto my eyes as it got longer. In addition it hasn’t had any volume and the roots lost the curl pattern pretty quickly.
My dream result would be that the curls have more volume and aren’t falling to much onto my forehead and eyes. Is it possible the achieve this result by turning the rods in the direction of the back of my head so to speak, or will the result be looking weird.

bro quick question, so I permed my hair approximately 2 years ago and decided to cut it 1 year after because I noticed I was losing hair cause of it, probably cause I permed it too frequently (I permed my hair almost monthly or every month and a half) as of right now I’m thinking of growing it out and perm it again and I want your opinion of this .hopefully you see this 🙏🏽

toxix _behavior you should cut ur hair off and start from 1-1.5 and make fades on the sides. Don’t blame the perm the perm only damages ur hair not the hair that is growing. Make sure to not use products and don’t wear hats or use a good shampoo.

Hey dude, I wanted to ask if I can do this anyway without getting a perm. Like my hair is wavy a bit and i've been using cantu to try and get it curly. I notice that after I put the product oon it gets curly in the front but not the back.
